The paper examines relation between Vietnam Airline Domestic service quality and customer satisfaction by gathering opinions from 402 passengers employing Skytrax scale with some modification along with Cronbach’s alpha, EFA and multiple regression analysis. Results show that Vietnam Airline Domestic service quality can be measured by the following six determinants in order of decreasing importance: (1) boarding/deplaning/baggage; (2) check in; (3) in-flight services; (4) reservation; (5) aircraft; and (6) flight crew. All of them are directly proportional effect to customer satisfaction. The paper also offers some suggestions to improve the service quality thereby enhancing the customer satisfaction.

The purpose of this study is to examine the impact and the electronic service quality of the national zakat management information system (SIMBA) on the national zakat collection. This paper uses a multiple regression analysis in its explorative attempt to illustrate the impact of SIMBA implementation on the national zakat collection. It shows that SIMBA is positive and significantly impact the national zakat collection as well as the human development index that is used as a proxy for the human resource management quality of zakat institutions in the respective city. Nonetheless, the population is negative and significant to the zakat collection as endemic poverty and reluctance to pay zakat are indicated as the reasons. Moreover, this study has succeeded in adapting and conducting e-service quality survey to zakat information system realm. All the tests prove that the instrument in this study has a high degree of reliability and validity. The results show that some of the demographic factors significantly impact the perceived performance of SIMBA. Multiple regression analysis that is conducted in this study shows that e-service quality dimension is positive and significant towards SIMBA’ overall quality, perceived value, and loyalty intention. This study contributes to the zakat management system literature, especially in the impact of the national zakat information system, which is pivotal in enhancing zakat collection and poverty alleviation program funded by zakat.

Abstract Backgroud: As the survival rates of cancer patients have been increasing due to early diagnosis and technological advances in treatment, their caregiver burden has also emerged as an important issue. In view of this situation, this study aims to investigate the unmet needs and quality of life of caregivers of Korean breast cancer survivors. Methods: A multicenter cross-sectional interview survey was performed among 160 caregivers of Korean breast cancer survivors. Caregivers who gave written informed consent to participate completed the Comprehensive Needs Assessment Tool for Cancer Caregivers and EuroQol-5 Dimensions. Data were analyzed using the t-test, ANOVA and multiple regression analysis. Results: The mean age of the caregivers was 46.4 years, 44.4% (71/160) were spouses of patients, and 52.5% (84/160) were personally taking care of cancer survivors. Unmet needs were highest in the ‘healthcare staff’ domain (mean ± SD: 1.69 ±1.11), and the item with the highest level of unmet needs was ‘needed information about the current status of the patient’s illness and its future courses’ (1.98 ± 1.04). Unmet needs were correlated with age, educational level, marital status, employment, religion and psychosocial status. Poorer quality of life was closely related to higher levels of unmet needs. In multiple regression analysis, age, employment, religion, and levels of stress and despair were closely associated with unmet needs.

Abstract INTRODUCTION Aims of awake surgery are considered as maximum resection and functional preservation for postoperative quality of life (QOL). However, any studies have not been focused on the fundamental hypothesis that preservation of brain functions contributes to patient’s QOL. In this study, we investigated postoperative QOL and its related factors to reveal contribution of awake surgery for maintaining QOL. METHODS A total of 63 patients who underwent awake surgery were studied. Several kinds of neuropsychological/neurological tests and SF-36 to assess QOL were performed at 6-month postoperatively. In SF-36, 3-component scores, including physical, mental, and role/social component were calculated and they were compared with healthy volunteers. Additionally, their background factors were collected from medical records. Then, influenced background and functional factors to QOL were analyzed using multiple regression analysis. Moreover, voxel-based lesion symptom (VLSM) analyses were performed to investigate relationship between resected regions and QOL. RESULTS Though physical and mental QOL scores were almost equivalent to healthy volunteers, role and social component score (RCS) were significantly declined (36.7, < .0001). Using multiple regression analysis, RCS significantly related to reinstatement among several background factors (p=0.0038). Until postoperative 6 months, 71.6% returned to professional work. Moreover, RCS correlated significantly with working memory, language, and motor function among several brain functions (p=0.019, 0.0028, 0.010, respectively). In the VLSM analysis, patients who resected following regions showed significantly low RCS; the left inferior frontal and superior to middle temporal gyri which relate to language; and right supplementary motor area and cingulate cortex which are involved in motor control or working memory. CONCLUSIONS The important factors to maintain QOL are reinstatement and preserving brain functions including language, motor, and working memory. This suggests that awake surgery aiming for preserving these functions is a benefit for postoperative QOL.

<p>In any organization, knowledge leader and communication are subject which helps organizations reach productivity. The aim of the research is to study the contribution of knowledge leader and communication toward employee productivity at West Java Conference Office. To this end, this research used questionnaires distributed to 59 employees at West Java Conference Office. Data was calculated using Pearson Product Moment. All questionnaires are valid, and reliability using Cronbach's Alpha for knowledge leader was obtained at 0,846. Communication was obtained at 0,918 and productivity was obtained at 0,779. Research method using descriptive analytical survey with quantitative data. Data was analyzed using Multiple Regression Analysis using T-Test. The result of the research shows that there is a significant influence on the knowledge leader toward productivity with significance (sig.) 0000 at the table with the value of α 0:05 coefficients it means 0.000 &lt;0.05. There is a significant influence on communication toward productivity with significance (sig.) 0.035 at the table with the value of α 0, 05 it means 0.035 &lt; 0.05 and test of determination shows that the value of adjusted R Square is 0.873, it indicates that the Knowledge Leader and Communication 87% effect on the productivity, and the remain of 13% is influenced by other variables, which is not examined yet.</p>

A role-conflict approach was employed to explore the impact of perceived frequency of conflict between caregiving and other obligations on the quality of relationships between daughters and their care-receiving mothers. Frequency of conflict between caregiving and responsibilities as a wife, mother, and paid and unpaid worker was assessed. Daughters reported relatively infrequent conflict between caregiving and other obligations. A multiple regression analysis revealed that daughters who reported frequent conflict between their obligations as caregivers and their obligations as wives had poorer relationships with their mothers. The findings emphasize the importance of a supportive spouse for married caregivers.

The professionalism headmaster of PAUD strongly influences the quality of PAUD institution. The low competence professionalism headmaster of PAUD is the leading cause of the low quality of education, including the headmaster of PAUD with limited insights regarding early childhood education, lack of communication with colleagues has an impact on motivation and morale found in the field. This research is a quantitative study with multiple regression analysis. This study aims to determine the effect of interpersonal communication and educational background on the professionalism headmaster of PAUD in Indragiri Hulu Regency. Data obtained from the results of the questionnaire distribution of the three variables which were analyzed by multiple regression analysis. The results showed that there was no significant influence between interpersonal communication and educational background on the professionalism headmaster of PAUD in Indragiri Hulu Regency. This is supported by the calculation of the significance test, where the results obtained by the value of Fcount = 0.09, which is smaller than the value of Ftable= 3.13. From the results of the study it can be concluded that the professionalism headmaster of PAUD cannot be separated from the element of educational background because the higher the level and suitability of the department, the more professional workers will be. Likewise, being professionalism depends on controlling the environment through communication.
