Education is the process of changing attitudes and behavior of a person or group in an effort to mature humans through teaching and training efforts. To shape a change in one's attitude and behavior, of course, requires a new paradigm to answer competitive and innovative internal and global challenges in accordance with the times.One of the educational reforms carried out is character education through the implementation of the 2013 curriculum. Character education is education that emphasizes the essence and meaning of morals and morals so that it will be able to form a good student personality. This character education has been carried out by the government through the implementation of the 2013 curriculum. In this curriculum students are more required to be active, creative and innovative in every problem solving they face by not forgetting good character.

So education is very important in human life, through education, the talents and skills possessed by a person will be formed and directed properly. Cristian Religious education is a teaching that comes from God, babsed on the bible that can involve people, especially Cristians. People know have a very important role in building character in children. Character education in the word of education is very important to be able to help children in forming a good personality, able to be honest, dare to be responsible and have good manners towards others. Character education in early childhood must be adjusted to the moral development of the child.

The purpose of this study is to examine and understand the forms, functions, values, moral change of the people of Kendari City after getting a character education provided by Wahdah Islamiyah. In this study, the data were obtained through structured observation and interviews of 12 administrator of Wahdah Islamiyah Kendari and 17 Kendari City resident who participated in character building in Wahdah Islamiyah of Kendari City, and conducted observations on matters relating to character building carried out by Wahdah Islamiyah towards the people of Kendari City. Furthermore, all research objects were analyzed qualitatively descriptive. The results showed that the character building carried out by Wahdah Islamiyah towards the people of Kendari City is a goal that was not contrary to the goal of character building launched by the Kendari City government towards its people. In order to increase the faith and piety of the people of Kendari City, the government has launched a program to liberate the illiteracy of the Qur'an and improve the morals of the people of Kendari City. In line with what was done by Wahdah Islamiyah who did the character building of the city of kendari by using several coaching approaches namely the mental and spiritual coaching approach, leadership, training, academic, competition, and amaliya. All of these approaches function to make the people of Kendari City have good character values and have strong in faith and devotion to Allah Subhanahu Wata’ala. The character values contained in the character building carried out by Wahdah Islamiyah towards the people of Kendari City are religious values, tolerance, discipline, hard work, honesty, respect for achievement, care for the environment, care for the social and responsibility. The values of the formation of these characters can be identified from the activities carried out by the people who participate in coaching in Wahdah Islamiyah as well as from their attitudes and behavior patterns after they get character development done by Wahdah Islamiyah in Kendari City.Keywords: Formation of character by Wahdah Islamiyah, form, function, and character values of the people of Kendari City.

The title of the research is The Role of Parents in Shaping the Character of Children in the Globalization Era in Masigit Village, Citangkil Village, Cilegon City. In the current era of globalization, there are many influences, both positive and negative. This negative influence must be avoided because it can affect a person's habits, attitudes, and behavior. Character education is one of the important things that must be applied in the family environment. Parents must reflect good attitudes and habits in interacting in the family environment and in the community environment. This is important for fostering good attitudes and habits in children. The formulation of the problem in this study is how the role of parents in improving children's character in the era of globalization, Masigit Village, Citangkil Village, Cilegon City. What factors can influence the formation of children's character in the era of globalization, Masigit Village, Citangkil Village, Cilegon City. What efforts are made by parents in shaping children's character in the era of globalization in Masigit Village, Citangkil Village, Cilegon City. This study aims to determine the role of parents in shaping children's character in the era of globalization in Masigit Village, Citangkil Village, Cilegon City. The subjects of this study were 6 parents and 6 children in Masigit Village, Citangkil Village, Cilegon City. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods. Data analysis in qualitative research is by doing data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. The results of this study indicate that the role of parents in Masigit Village, Citangkil Village, Cilegon City has been good in shaping children's character in the era of globalization.

The purpose of this article is to analysis the differences between The 1974. Number 5 Law (U.U. Nomor 5 Tahun 1974) and the new law namely The Regional Outonomous Law (U.U. Otonomi Daerah) base on decentralization. The differences new law is the regional government’s competence to manage it self for built, collect and use fund resources. Based on two laws analysing it is said that the new law has competences on human re-sources manage, taking place, moving and retairing the government employee, to execute education and training employee on society, but at least depends on the regional’s need and capability. The new law implementation brings Public Accountant’s participation, arrange the new paradigm about financial concept and system. It is said, managing public funds must be oriented by public’s need. To grade government profesionalism, the finan-cial responsibility must be accountable and transparancy, together with reformation cli-mate.

Hindu teachings contain a lot about character education, morals, ethics and manners. Moral education can be seen in the story of Sundara Kanda, which is a sub of Itihasa in the Ramayana epic that tells the journey of life with various obstacles and tests that must be faced with full fortitude, strength and determination. Every event that occurs in the Sundara Kanda story is a unified narrative unit in resolving the conflict of every event. The setting in this story uses the setting of Mount Mainaka, Alengka Palace, Taman Angsoka, Kiskinda kingdom. The character is Hanuman who becomes a central figure, then there are goddesses Sitā and Ravana. The accompanying figures are Trijata, Wibisana, Anggada, Jembawan, Sugriwa, Laksmana and Rama. Rahwana as the Antagonist, then there are also giants. His mandate is loyalty and determination in carrying out dharma. Character characters contained in the Sundara Kanda story include characterization displayed through the use of the character's name, through the appearance of the character, and characterization through the author's speech. In accordance with the characters contained in Hindu teachings, namely in the book of Bhagawadgita, the characters in the Sundara Kanda story can be grouped into two characters namely daivi sampad and asuri sampad. The values ​​contained in the character of the Sundara Kanda story include religious, honesty, responsibility, tolerance, discipline, and hard work. As a whole, the character's character value is a national character that should be inculcated and developed to the wider community, in order to shape the attitudes and behavior of a person in carrying out the duties and obligations that should be carried out both towards oneself, the family environment, society, nation and state.

This paper explains how the ethnic conflict process that occurred in the Southern Province of Thailand to the process of resolving conflicts between the Government of Thailand and local residents in the Southern Province of Thailand. The conflict is based on the history of the Southern Thailand region between the Thai Government and the Malay Muslim population. Then, it caused conflicting attitudes and behaviors in responding to this conflict from each of the warring parties. This paper uses the concept of the conflict triangle from Johan Galtung where this conflict comes from perceptions based on historical differences, then followed by differences in conflicting behavior from each party and differences in interests. Then, using the concept of the source of conflict from Bernard Meyer, the source of the conflict that comes from historical differences so that it affects how to communicate, emotional reactions, values ??and structures owned. Then, using the concept of the stage of conflict resolution from Johan Galtung, this conflict is at the peacekeeping level where Malaysia is the mediator between the two warring parties. In resolving conflicts, both parties need to change attitudes and behavior in transforming different interests.

Program promotif gaya hidup sehat telah banyak digencarkan pemerintah diantaranya Perilaku Hidup Bersih dan Sehat (PHBS) serta Keluarga Sadar Gizi (Kadarzi). Namun demikian, cakupan penerapan indikatornya seringkali tidak dapat terpenuhi, hanya beberapa atau sebagian keluarga yang menerapkan secara utuh. Dusun Jaranan menjadi salah satu yang belum menerapkan secara utuh. Data terakhir menunjukkan 53,35% untuk PHBS tahun 2018 sedangkan kadarzi sudah 95,44%. Penerapan ini selalu mengalami perubahan naik maupun turun. Oleh karena itu diperlukan penilaian kesehatan dan upaya promotif yang berkesinambungan. Studi ini bertujuan untuk melakukan seluruh tahapan siklus promosi kesehatan di RW 40 Dusun Jaranan. Metodenya penilaian kesehatan menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan survey. Data yang dihasilkan berupa permasalahan yang prioritas yaitu masih adanya yang merokok di dalam rumah. Oleh karena itu, program yang disepakati bersama masyarakat adalah peningkatan pengetahuan tentang bahaya rook bagi perokok aktif dan pasif dengan metode ceramah dan alat bantu berupa poster, leaflet, dan video. Intervensi ini dapat berjalan sesuai rencana dan memberikan dampak berupa peningkatan pengetahuan sasaran. Upaya ini harus terus ditindaklanjuti oleh puskesmas setempat agar tidak berhenti pada peningkatan pengetahuan saja, namun juga sikap dan perilaku.---The healthy lifestyle promotion program has been intensified by the government including Clean and Healthy Behavior (PHBS) and Nutrition Conscious Families (Kadarzi). However, the scope of the application of the indicators can often not be fulfilled, only a few or some families who apply in full. Jaranan Hamlet is one that has not been implemented in full. The latest data shows 53.35% for PHBS in 2018 while the levels of have been 95.44%. This application always changes up and down. Therefore it is necessary to have an ongoing health assessment and promotive effort. This study aims to conduct all stages of the health promotion cycle in RW 40 of Jaranan Hamlet. The method of health assessment uses quantitative methods with surveys. The data generated in the form of a priority problem that is still the existence of smoking in the house. Therefore, the program agreed with the community is to increase knowledge about the dangers of rooks for active and passive smokers with lecture methods and assistive devices in the form of posters, leaflets, and videos. This intervention can go according to plan and have the effect of increasing target knowledge. This effort must continue to be followed up by local health centres so as not to stop at increasing knowledge, but also attitudes and behavior.
