Training and development programs play an important role to improve employee performance and human resources quality. This study was conducted to examine the effect of training and development on job performance. The study was conducted in a regional bank in Medan City. By using quantitative descriptive method, this research collected data by using a questionnaire which then be analyzed using multiple linear regression to answer the research problem. The results show that training and development contributes to employee performance. That is, training and development programs have a positive and significant impact on work performance. The theoretical and practical implications and limitations of the study will be explained at the end of this paper

The formulation of this research problem is how the influence of Cultural Organization and Commitment to the Teacher Performance at SMK GKPS 2 Pematangsiantar. The research method used in this paper is literature research and field research. Its population is employees of SMK GKPS 2 Pematangsiantar amounted to 64 people. The data used are data by qualitative and qualitative data, and data collection techniques by questionnaire, interview and documentation. Then the technique of data analysis using qualitative descriptive method and quantitative descriptive method. Results of analysis of multiple linear regression is Ŷ = 68,710 + 0,715X1 + 0,914X2 means there is a positive influence between cultural organization and commitment on teacher performance. The strength of the relationship between the three variables is strong, is r = 0,672. From the coefficient of determination can be explained high low employee performance 45,2% and the remaining 54,8% explained by other factors that are not discussed in this study. From the results of processing and calculation of the questionnaire, the authors get the conclusion that the cultural organization and commitment applied SMK GKPS 2 Pematangsiantar have a positive and significant effect on teacher performance. This is proven by hypothesis testing simultaneously, where the test result fhitung (25,170) > fhitung (3,15) with significance level 0,000 < alpha 0,05. The formulation of this research problem is how the influence of motivation and work environment on employee performance at PT Perkebunan Nusantara IV Balimbingan Business Unit. The research method used in this paper is literature research and field research. Its population is employees PT Perkebunan Nusantara IV Balimbingan Business Unit amounted to 59 people. Given the number  of respondents less than 100 people to answer the quetionaiere that the author distributed and the availability of time of the author and for the accuracy of the results of research. The data used is data by qualitative and quantitative data, and data collection techniques by questionnaire, interview and documentation. Then the technique of data analysis using qualitative descriptive method and quantitative descriptive method. Result of analysis from linear regresi modestly that is Ŷ=8,697 + 0,809X1 + 0,6439X2 meaning there are positive influence between motivation and work environment on employee performance. The strength of relationship between the variables is very strength, that is r= 0,775. From coefficient determinasi can be explainable high low employee performance 60 %, and the rest 40 % explained by other factor not discussed in this study. From result of processing and calculation of questionnaires,the authors get the assumption that the motivation and work environment applied  PT Perkebunan Nusantara IV Balimbingan Business Unit . This matter is proved by hypothesis test either simultaneously where result test the fhitung (42,034) > ttabel (3,16) and which significant 0,000 < alpha 0,05.   Keywords: Motivation, Work Environment and Employee Performance

Purpose:- Declining work performance is a matter of grave concern for organizations and they make concerted efforts to assess the reasons underlying these loopholes. This research integrates and puts together proofs from the field of psychology and organizational behavior backed by strong neurocognitive evidence while studying the profound effects of sleep deprivation on the performance of working mothers in the educational sector of Pakistan. This research suggests that stress at the workplace partially mediates the negative correlation of sleep deprivation and employee performance. Methodology/Sample:- Personal survey technique has been applied here as a method of data collection and questionnaire has used as an instrument to collect the data. The sample has been taken from working mothers who are teaching and giving their services in different organizations of educational sector of Pakistan. Findings:- Based on the findings and hypothesis results it can be concluded that the given negative relationship between sleep deprivation and employee performance is partially mediated by stress at workplace. Practical Implications:- The results and contribution of present research can be of great importance to the management of all educational sectors operating in Pakistan including schools, colleges and universities. The findings and suggestions of this research could provide them with necessary data to address and resolve the issue related to performance of working mothers who are sleep-deprived, due to which they are experiencing stress at workplace, and are deviating from the desired norms of an organization.

Bank Syariah Mandiri, to analyze how much influence the trainingand development variables have on employee performance variables through capacity building atPT. Bank Syariah Mandiri. This type of research is a quantitative descriptive study with a two-pathequation approach. The object of research chosen in this study is PT. Bank Syariah Mandiri. The typeof data used is primary and secondary data. Data collection techniques are done by questionnaire andobservation. The instrument used in this study was the Likert scale. The research variables use theconcept of independent variables namely training and development and the concept of the dependentvariable is the increase in employee ability and performance. The results of this study indicate thatthe training and development variables partially or individually to increase ability have a significanteffect. Of the two variables, the biggest influence is the development variable. The training anddevelopment variables combined to increase ability have a significant effect. And the influence of othervariables outside the model is 0.561. On the training variable, development, combined capabilityimprovement on employee performance has a significant effect. And the influence of other variablesoutside the model is 0.258.

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of facilities, motivation, and workdiscipline on the work performance of PT Zebra Asaba Industrui employees. The research methodused is descriptive method with regression and correlation approaches which is a method that aims todescribe the influence and relationship of something that is going on at the time the research isconducted. The results of this study indicate partially or simultaneously facility variables,motivation, and work discipline have a significant effect on employee performance. The magnitude ofthe correlation value (R) is 0.924 which means that there is a strong correlation / relationshipbetween facilities, motivation, and work discipline with employee performance. The amount ofadjusted coefficient of determination (R2) is 0.793 or 79.3%, which means that independentvariables can explain changes in employee performance variables by 79.3% while the remaining20.7% is explained by other factors beyond this research.

The study was conducted aimed at knowing the role of competencies, namely knowledge, skills and self-concept in improving the performance of employees of PT. Summit Oto Finance, with a sample of 54 people . The method used in this study using questionnaires, interviews and documentation. Research approach by using quantitative descriptive method by analyzing Multiple Linear Regression to measure the performance of employees of PT. Summit Oto Finance. The results of this study simultaneously independent competency variables consisting of knowledge, skills and self-concept have a positive and significant influence on the dependent variable,namely employee performance. From the test results the correlation of the influence of competencies on employee performance is 94.1 percent while 5.9 percent is influenced by other factors. Dominant competencies affect the performance of employees of PT. Summit Oto Finance is a skill.

The formulation of this research problem is how the influence of Leadership and Job Satisfaction on Work Discipline at Balai Diklat Lingkungan Hidup dan Kehutanan Pematangsiantar. The research method used in this paper is literature research and field research. Its population is employees of Balai Diklat Lingkungan Hidup dan Kehutanan Pematangsiantar amounted to 57 people. The data used are data by qualitative and qualitative data, and data collection techniques by questionnaire, interview and documentation. Then the technique of data analysis using qualitative descriptive method and quantitative descriptive method. Results of analysis of multiple linier regression is Ŷ = 26,243 + 1,232X1 + 0,681X2, means there is a positive influence between leadership and job satisfaction on work discipline. The strength of the relationship between the three variables is strong, is r = 0,752. From the coefficient of determination can be explained high low work discipline 56,5%, and the remaining 43,5% explained by other factors that are not discussed in this study. From the results of processing and calculation of the questionnaire, the authors get the conclusion that the leadership and job satisfaction applied Balai Diklat Lingkungan Hidup dan Kehutanan Pematangsiantar have a positive and significant effect on work discipline. This is proven by hypothesis testing simultaneously, where the test result fhitung (35,062)> fhitung (3,17) with significance level 0,000 < alpha 0,05. This article was aimed at investigating the impact of training and development on employee performance and productivity in Jumhuria bank. Interviews were conducted with employees. It was observed that there was a lack of a comprehensive system for assessing the training needs, participant selection and effective procedures for their evaluation. Further the evaluation of training was poor and only for namesake. Also, rather than playing highly proactive role training was just reactive in nature. It was also found that training and development was highly relevant and effective in improving the staff member's knowledge, skills, behaviour and attitudes. training did not have any impact over innovation, absenteeism, job turnover rate and job satisfaction. Nevertheless, training increased the employee's job performance and productivity. It was observed that the process of training and development was associated with various problems.

This study aimed to examine and analyze the effect of work motivation and compensation on the employees’ work performance with job satisfaction as an intervening variable conducted at the National Land Agency, the Regency of Bekasi. The research used a quantitative descriptive method with a sample of 103 respondents out of a population consisting of 140 employees. Meanwhile, the data analysis was conducted using the coefficient of determination and simultaneous coefficient. Based on the study results, it reveals that (i) job motivation partially has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction, (ii) compensation partially has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction, (iii) job motivation partially has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction, performance, (iv) compensation partially have a positive and significant effect on work performance, (v) job satisfaction partially has a positive and significant effect on work performance, (vi) work motivation and compensation simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction, (vii) work motivation and compensation simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on work performance. The two independent variables, i.e., work motivation and compensation, have a partial effect and can also work together (simultaneously) and have a positive and significant effect which can be proven by all the results of the proven hypotheses.
