The extraordinary development of the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) allows for innovative relationships among enterprises, organised in extended networks and regardless of their location. In this scenario, Large Enterprises can re-organise their traditional supply chains (generally formed by Small and Medium Enterprises) according to VIrtual Vertical Enterprise concepts and methodology, in order to obtain: (1) better control of subcontractors activities; (2) cost and delivery time reduction; (3) decrease of subcontractors number.

Nowadays technology is developing very fast, including information and communication technology. For that we need fast steps in following it. Information and communication technology has entered all aspects of life, including the business world. This is because the work assisted by information technology can minimize errors and even losses that will occur. Warna Print is a company engaged in the printing sector, which serves banner designs and banner printing and is currently facing problems in the field of ordering. The banner ordering system used in Warna Print is still done conventionally. For example, in recording orders, making order invoices to taking orders and transaction reports, they still rely on recording on notes. This of course can cause loss or damage to the order data and sales transactions. With the design of this application will be able to help expedite the transaction process on Color Print. The design of this application uses the Netbeans IDE with the Java programming language and the MySQL database program. This application has guaranteed security, because only owners and employees who have a username and password can access this application. In addition, the error rate in recording orders is very small, because each customer receives a different transaction number, so as to minimize errors on the transaction report.

Though many countries are still just beginning to grasp the potential uses and impacts of Electronic-government (EG), advances in technologies and their applications continue. Observing the proliferation of EG, countries are increasingly turning to the Internet to market their EG system to gain a competitive advantage. However, the effectiveness and efficiency of such online government systems largely depends on the mission of implementing EG. For successful adoption and implementation of EG, it is essential that a country first identify an explicit objective and a specific strategy. We have examined implemention strategies of EG of seven diverse countries whose objectives and mission for implementing EG differ significantly. However, they have the following strategies in common: i) extensive application of information and communication technology (ICT) in the public sector; ii) overall reformation of the public sector; iii) development of a better quality service structure; and iv) more cohesive integration of citizens with government.

This paper examined the impact of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) on the level of services delivered by the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS). The paper was premised on the perceived importance and role of the online platform in the prompt payment of corporate tax as its efficiency in increasing compliance while decreasing the level of tax evasion by corporate bodies. A related challenge that is increasingly being faced by users of electronic facilities for government transaction is a lack of universal security mechanism that forms a first line of defense for such users. The objective of the paper was to examine the impact of ICT on the level of revenue generation efforts of the FIRS and the level of tax evasion in Nigeria. Technology acceptance model was used as theoretical framework of analysis. The paper adopted survey and descriptive research design to elicit responses from the study sample. Both primary and secondary sources of data were used in eliciting information needed for the study. Pearson pear product and chi-square method were used as statistical method of analysis. The major findings of the study revealed among others that application of ICT will only amount to negligible level of revenue generation. It was also revealed that the relationship between application of ICT and the level of tax compliance and acceptability is not significant. Based on the findings, the paper recommended among others, that the government and their agencies should embark on an all-important campaign for attitude and behavioral change with regards to encouraging people in the business world to perceive tax as an obligation to the state and not just a yearly ritual that must be embarked upon by them. AbstractAlthough it is an extremely important step to gain sustained competitive advantage in the era of Industry 4.0, the integration of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS) for smart logistics can be challenging. In order to successfully implement such technologies, it is crucial, particularly for SMEs, to self-evaluate their own readiness for integrating technologies for smart logistics. This research proposes a readiness model which can be used as a guideline before implementing technologies for smart logistics at the SMEs level. It describes essential elements in the integration of ICT and CPS for smart logistics, as well as the potential five stages of implementation, which are initial, trial, organized, automated, and optimized.
