During the COVID-19 pandemic, education changed dramatically, notably in school-community engagement. School administrators prepared for and implemented the novel adopt-a-school program, Brigada Eskwela, by adopting the Department’s Basic Education Learning Continuity Plan. This program is feasible but not without difficulties. As a result, this phenomenological research examined Cluster IV secondary and integrated school administrators’ experiences in the Division of Davao City implementing the adopt-a-school program: Brigada Eskwela in the new normal. The researcher selected the participants via purposive sampling through remote physical and video conferencing of one-on-one in-depth interviews. The findings revealed that school administrators prepared for the transition of the adopt-a-school program: Brigada Eskwela, including overcoming challenges and developing coping mechanisms in the face of the new normal. Collaboration and partnership programs of stakeholders and private partners will address their resources and training needs to manage the school effectively for improved student learning outcomes. It is truly a community for students’ new normal education. This study was set out to determine the sustainable e-learning engagement and the level of learning satisfaction of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) students at The Rizal Memorial Colleges, Inc. This study employed a descriptive-correlational research method and used Mean and Pearson r for the data analysis. This study was conducted in the Integrated Basic Education Department of The Rizal Memorial Colleges, Inc., with a non-probability purposive sampling technique to identify the respondents. The respondents of this study were Grade 11 and Grade 12 STEM students who are currently enrolled in this academic year to answer the set questions about their sustainable e-learning engagement and the level of learning management. On the other hand, the questionnaire was validated by three experts to ensure the validity and reliability of the questions. Furthermore, the study revealed that sustainable e-learning engagement and learning satisfaction have a positive relationship. The factors are contributing to optimal parental educational involvement always intrigued to research, and the researcher wanted to dig into the issue or the problem behind the different scenarios. A wide range of stressors and parental cognizance on modular learning modality, including the home environment, socio-economic status of the family, and learning at home with a descriptive equivalent of very extensive, indicates that stressors on modular learning modality are always evident. On the other hand, the extent of parental cognizance, considered with the indicators: participation in social organizations, school programs involvement, and community collaboration with a descriptive equivalent of extensive which frequently means evident. A student’s ability to succeed academically as well as cultivate a lifetime passion for learning is greatly enhanced when parents are actively involved in the lives of their kids. Furthermore, the results of this study awaken to Department of Education to maintain seminars about improving parental cognizance and training about the different modalities for the parents to develop their supporting teaching skills and deeper relationships with their children. Schools worldwide shuttered their doors in the spring of 2020 to slow the spread of the COVID -19 pandemic virus. This physical closure quickly moved to modular learning, which increased parental and guardian responsibilities. Data were collected from 10 single parents of Rizal Memorial Colleges, Inc. The research design of this study utilized the phenomenological method to determine the Melancholic sentiments towards modular learning modality: single parents in focus in The Rizal Memorial Colleges, Inc. This study aimed to investigate parents’ experiences and struggles by the use of thematic coding with the use of essential themes. Data obtained identified emergent themes clustered, namely; strive to balance parent employment demands and learner needs, strenuous assisting more than one child in the home with learning, lack of personal balance, and parent feels overwhelmed; maintaining a strict schedule; engaging in creative activities; keeping children busy and; organizing daily routine; tracking academic progress, keeping socio-emotional Development, accessing of achievement, and identifying emotional toll. The findings revealed and addressed the learning gap that has emerged in their children’s learning in these challenging times. Furthermore, single parents, being aware of how to manage their time, struggles, hardship, and challenges to cope with their sentiment experiences, and strive on how they can surpass and would be a strong basis for school administrators as this comes as an opportunity to evaluate the effectiveness of different educational approaches and develop teaching and learning process suited to specific educational needs. Considering the result of this study as input from families, and should be sought to create a program and learning method that is beneficial to all school stakeholders. Many countries worldwide are affected, and there is a fear of losing this whole enduring semester or even more in the coming future. Flexible learning state of being in which learning and teaching are gradually autonomous since the boundaries of the time, place, and study pace are limited. The students enrolled within the Bachelor of Science in Information Systems (BSIS) program in Davao del Norte State College (DNSC) in the first semester of 2020-2021 are the main target of this study in how they follow and adapt the new-normal way of delivering instructional materials. This study used the quantitative approach under the descriptive research design method with the survey questionnaire as the primary data collection tool. Data gathering was done through the use of questionnaires in the form of an online survey. The total population size of prospective respondents qualified in this study 226 students from Davao del Norte State College, Panabo City during the academic year 2020-2021 amid a pandemic enrolled in the program of BSIS. The coherent response to higher education dynamics, such as the need for technological innovation to adapt flexible learning. Relying on its resilient and innovative spirit, DNSC finds ways to continue delivering its essential new way of giving academic quality to the scholars. Flexible learning uses online and offline modalities and allows completion of scholars learning off-campus. Based on the findings, it can be assumed that the respondents, the Davao del Norte State College (DNSC), the current status of BSIS students are equipped with needed technologies and adjusted to flexible learning. The knowledge, strategy, and skills of the school heads are the profound materials for the school’s success aside from the participation of the teachers, parents, and community. This phenomenological study aimed to explore the experiences of the elementary principals in the planning and implementation of the DepEd policies in their respective schools. Data were collected from the selected principals who were more than 5 years in managing schools, acknowledged as productive and competitive in their field, and received various recognitions in managerial and leadership aspects. The analysis of data - coding, categorizing, and theming was done through Creswell Analysis. Findings revealed five (5) clustered themes: Teachers Collaboration; Community linkages; Goal Setting and Transparency; Sound Relationship Cultivation; and Teachers Empowerment. Every clustered theme expounded with emergent themes. Based on the result, it is recommended to have continuous partnership and teamwork of internal and external stakeholders in the planning process and project development; conduct continuous teachers’ professional development; practice transparency; and communicate the plans. Moreover, the findings of this study would be a great tool in benchmarking the best practices in the implementation of policies and the planning process. This phenomenological-cross sectional study navigates the views of school heads, teachers, and learners in Kapalong East District. This phenomenological study aims to describe and understand the experiences of school heads, teachers, and learners in makeshift classrooms. This perspective encourages educators, families, and schools to understand that learners develop and learn new skills and knowledge by reacting to their environment. Five school heads, five teachers, and five learners participated in the in-depth interview and focus group discussion, selected through the purposive sampling technique. The experiences of the school heads resulted in nine major themes, which include: the makeshift classroom is not safe and conducive to learners; the makeshift classroom is an immediate solution to lack of classrooms; a big challenge to face; accepting the situation; providing support and motivation to teachers; involvement of stakeholders in the improvement of classrooms; making use of available resources, and provision of the concrete classroom. Nine major themes also emerged for teacher-participants: the makeshift classroom is not conducive and not secured; teachers used varied teaching styles; a challenge to take; integrating different strategies in teaching; motivating one’s self to do the best; being positive despite the present situation; needs for support from DepEd; integration of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in teaching. Eight major themes revealed from learner-participants: not conducive to learning; willingness to learn; the desire to have a concrete and spacious classroom; determination to study; classroom cleanliness; learners should give their best to succeed, and government should provide additional concrete classroom. These results imply that having a good environment for learning can affect learners’ learning, particularly and the quality of education in general. The results of this study are critical to school heads, teachers, learners, and stakeholders in promoting better education. The impact of the worldwide pandemic can drive the school to work and apply various procedures in actualizing educational programs in the class. The Coronavirus pandemic may demolish existing emotional well-being issues and lead to more cases among youngsters and youths in light of the interesting mix of the general wellbeing emergency, social confinement, and financial downturn," (Terada, 2020). This study is designed to identify and investigate the causes of stress and coping strategies adopted among distance education students at the College of Teacher Education in Kolehiyo ng Pantukan. The respondents of this study were the 159 education students enrolled in AY 2020-2021 second semester. The descriptive correlational method and quantitative research were chosen for the reason that it was correlational in nature since it was determined the significant relationship between the stressors and coping strategies. The result shows that there was no significant difference in the perceptions of the respondents on the level of stress among education students as to gender and marital status. The result also shows that there is a significant relationship between the stressors and coping strategies used among education students. KEYWORDS- Stressors, Coping Strategies, Distance Learning

The purpose of the study was to assess the motivational and supervisory competencies of secondary school administrators in the new normal education within the New Bataan District. It explored a quantitative descriptive survey method that discovered the level of motivational competencies of secondary school administrators as perceived by themselves and teachers in terms of appreciation, feedbacking, human relations, and human drive in new normal education. Determined the level of supervisory competencies of secondary school administrators as perceived by themselves and teachers in leadership, team building, professional growth, and planning. The study found out that the administrators and teachers differ significantly in their perception of the motivational and supervisory competence of the school administrators. The administrators and teachers did not vary in their perceptions of motivational and supervisory competence when analyzed according to educational qualification attainment, gender, and length of service. Furthermore, school administrators and teachers were committed to their work. The motivational qualities and managerial effectiveness lie in the leader’s commitment and high sense of responsibility, especially this time of the pandemic. Towards the end of the study, school administrators need to apply measures to demonstrate a positive attitude of protection and care towards their teachers, to adapt to new work schedules, and build effective team relationships despite the challenges. As a result, school administrators evaluated their leadership competencies more positively even this time of the pandemic. Several suggestions were proposed for improving school administrators’ leadership competencies.
