In this study, accounting ratios has been used to analyze the financial performance of Citizens BankInternational Ltd. in Nepal before and after merger. I have analyzed their financial statements for sixyears by using various ratios. In spite of certain limitations, accounting ratios are still considered as aconvenient and reliable analytical tool. Ratio analysis, being a time-tested technique, is most frequentlyemployed in all financial decision-making processes. The results show that the financial performance ofCBI Ltd. in the areas of profitability and stability has been most satisfactory after merger. It means thatmerger deal success to improve the financial performance of the bank.

Following the 2007 global financial crisis, more than 15 M&A transactions took place among financial institutions in the kingdom of Bahrain. This paper evaluates the impact of M&As on the financial performance of four such deals between banks in Bahrain. Data was collected from financial statements of the banks and the Bankscope database during 2004–2015. 15 accounting ratios were applied to CAMEL Rating Model approach. Financial modelling with Excel has been applied to test for the significance of changes in the financial performance of the banks three years before and three years after mergers. No significant difference in the financial performance of the local banks between pre and post M&As in the kingdom of Bahrain was observed. No significant difference in the financial performance of the acquirer bank or the target bank was observed except Bahraini Saudi Bank (target bank) which showed significant improvement in the financial performance after the merger with acquirer bank namely Al Salaam Bank. No significant change in the overall CAMEL ratios was observed for all banks involved in the M&As in Bahrain during 2004-15. The study provides an empirical analysis of the M&As before and after the mergers which can serve as a basis for further evaluation of future strategy of the banking sector in the kingdom of Bahrain.

The financial statements serve as a benchmark in assessing the financial performance of the company as the basis for making business decisions. The motivation in conducting this research is to support previous research to see the development condition of one of the oil palm plantation companies. The purpose of this study is to assess the financial performance by using financial ratio analysis and horizontal analysis. The method used in this research is Quantitative Descriptive with analysis design using Term series Analysis. The result of the research based on financial ratio analysis shows the liquidity ratio and solvency ratio in good condition, while the activity ratio and profitability ratio are not good because it is below the industry average of similar companies. Based on horizontal analysis, financial performance fluctuated and influenced internal and external factors such as operational performance and the average price of world palm oil. The limitations of this study are using only two analytical tools and financial statements analyzed only the balance sheet and income statement.

The banking sector in any economy plays a significant role in its growth and development. This paper is based on financial performance analysis of two leading banks of India. This paper aims to evaluate financial performance of HDFC and SBI bank on the basis of accounting ratios and also to study the functioning of the Indian banking system [6]. In this paper different ratios of both the banks are compared. Capital adequacy ratio, debt equity ratio, leverage ratios, profit and loss account ratios, net interest margin ratio, return on equity and other ratios are used to compare the performance of both the banks. This research is based on the data collected from financial statements of the banks. The performance of both the banks are compared from the year 2015 to 2020. It is observed that performance of HDFC is better than SBI not only in terms of ratio analysis but also in terms of customer satisfaction.

The study aimed to know the effects of analysis of financial statements on financial decisions, and the degree of benefit from them, and to identify what financial statements, what is its importance for the institutions within the framework of the Kingdom's Vision 2030 of ideas and trends, and to identify the contribution of financial statement analysis to financial decision-making. The study was based on the descriptive and analytical approach, and the study population consisted of all financial decision makers. The study was based on a simple random method (70) of financial decision makers. The study was based on the questionnaire and consisted of the following axes (financial statements in companies, financial decision-making, the effects of analysis of financial statements on financial decision-making). The study came out with a number of results, the most important of which are: There is approval by the respondents to all paragraphs of the first axis "financial statements in companies", with a relative weight of 82.8%. There is an agreement by the respondents on all paragraphs of the second axis "making financial decisions in companies", with a relative weight of 81.3%. There is strong approval by the respondents on all paragraphs of the third axis "the effects of analysis of financial statements on financial decision-making", with a relative weight of 86.4%. The financial statements are a key tool to know the financial position of the company, so they must be accurate and reliable before being published by management. The lack of credibility in the financial statements leads to mistrust in the company by investors, and does not give them the possibility to diagnose and make sound decisions. In light of the previous results, the study recommended the following: • Organizing several forums, conferences and forums to clarify the mechanism of preparing the financial statements and how to analyze them, and the need to raise awareness of financial decision makers about the importance of financial statements in the financial decision-making process.

This study analyzes the financial performance of PT Mandom Tbk. This study aims to determine how the financial performance of PT Mandom Tbk during the 2015 - 2020 reporting year. The data and information used in this study were obtained from the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The test is carried out based on four categories of financial ratios, namely, Profitability Ratios, Liquidity Ratios, Solvency Ratios, and Activity Ratios. The study was conducted using a descriptive quantitative approach and the data is secondary data in the form of financial statements of income and statements of financial position obtained from the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). Based on the results of research analysis using the profitability ratios of the company's financial performance, the condition is not good. Based on the liquidity ratio analysis, the company's financial performance shows a good condition. Based on the analysis of the solvency ratio, the company's financial performance shows a good condition. Based on the activity ratio analysis of the company's financial performance, it shows good conditions for receivable activities and not good for inventory activities and fixed asset activities.

The measurement of financial performance based solely on balance sheet financial statements and profit and loss is able to provide information on the feasibility of a company on the obligations of external parties and also assets owned by the company. From the results of financial statement analysis using financial ratio analysis of PT. PLN (Persero)Region  Sulutttenggo can evaluate the financial performance of companies that show unfavorable conditions where the value of the liquidity ratio is less stable and even decreases. Whereas the results of the calculation of leverage ratio and profitability ratio show fairly good conditions. Thus, the writer suggest that the management always evaluate in improving the company's financial performance.Keywords : financial statement, financial performance, financial ratios

Of the 162 companies listed on the StockExchange, which can be used to study many as 100 companies by using logistic regression. Based onresearch that has been done before and after entering the control variables, it was found that theindependent commissioner, financial performance (ROI), firm size affects the timeliness of financialreporting. company’s age that is the control variables also affect the timeliness of financial reporting.Meanwhile the audit committee and managerial ownership does not affect the timeliness ofsubmission of financial statements. The financial performance of a company can be interpreted as a good prospect or future, growth and development potential for the company. Financial performance information is needed to assess potential changes in economic resources, which may be controlled in the future and to predict the production capacity of existing resources. By using ratio analysis, based on data from financial statements, it will be possible to know the financial results that have been achieved in the past, to know the weaknesses of the company, as well as the results that are considered quite good.

This paper analyzes the financial performance of PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk. compared to the total industry based on Financial Ratio Analysis. The data used are the financial statements for the period 2014-2019 which are listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange as many as 17 companies. Of these, 12 companies had complete financial reports. Thus the industrial data used in the sample in this paper is data from 12 companies. The data analysis method in this research is descriptive statistical analysis and financial ratio analysis. The results of this study are expected to be a benchmark in assessing the financial performance of PT Wijaya Karya Tbk

Dalam hal ini peneliti menggunakan data berupa laporan keuangan Bank yang tercatat di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI). Peneliti menggunakan sampel sebanyak 7 Bank yang dipilih secara purposive random sampling, yaitu perusahaan Bank yang terdaftar di BEI periode tahun 2008-2011. Data laporan keuangan yang digunakan adalah laporan keuangan yang telah dipublikasikan di dalam Indonesia Capital Market Directory (ICMD) 2013. Alat analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi berganda, uji t, uji F dan koefisien determinasi yang diuji dengan uji asumsi klasik. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dapat disimpulkan bahwa variabel ROA dan TATO mempunyai pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap Harga Saham. Kata Kunci: CR,ROA,DER, TATO, Harga Saham. ABSTRACTThe purpose of this study to know the effect of financial ratio analysis, namely CR, ROA, DER, and TATO to the stock price on the bank. In this case the researchers used the data in the form of financial statements of the Bank are listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). Researchers used a sample of 7 Banks are selected by purposive random sampling, the bank company listed on the Stock Exchange in the period 2008-2011. The data used financial statements are the financial statements that have been published in the Indonesian Capital Market Directory (ICMD) 2013. Analytical tool used is multiple regression analysis, t test, F test and coefficient of determination are tested with classical assumption test.
