The review characterizes educational and methodical manual “Accessibility of socio-cultural infrastructure facilities for children and youth with special educational needs”. The manual considers the issue of accessibility of socio-cultural infrastructure for children and youth with special educational needs and is systematized by nosology. The publication is aimed at teachers, psychologists, social workers and employees of museums, theaters and tourist facilities on the organization of inclusive tourism routes for children and youth with special educational needs by nosology. The educational and methodical manual is prepared based on the results of the research topic “Social and psychological rehabilitation of children and youth with special educational needs through inclusive tourism” (state registration number: 0119U103978, Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University).

Review of the textbook «Companion of  Persons with Disabilities» (2020), prepared in the framework of the research topic «Social and psychological rehabilitation of children and youth with special educational needs through inclusive tourism» (state registration number 0119U103978) Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University. The educational and methodical complex meets the requirements and deserves to be introduced for the profession of «Companion of  Persons with Disabilities», which provides for the provision of social services of physical support to persons with disabilities with musculoskeletal disorders, visual impairments and other nosologies to the community.

In the article analyzes the systems for preparing social workers to work with people who have special educational needs in universities in the US and Canada. There are revealed features of education in schools of social work at Columbia’s, Michigan’s and other universities. There are indicated experience of Great Britain, France and Germany in preparing future social workers for working with people with special educational needs. In the article considered programs that offer foreign universities in the preparation of future social workers who wish to work with persons with special educational needs. There are described curricula of the higher educational institutions of these countries, which prepare future qualified social workers to work with persons with special educational needs. There are analyzed reasons for the insufficient preparing of future specialists in the social sphere to work with persons with special educational needs. The general features of the process of teaching students of the specialty "social work" in foreign and domestic universities are indicated, among them the continuity of education, multidisciplinarity of training and the diversity of forms of education. The article shows the distinctive features of the professional training of future social workers for working with people with special educational needs, among which emphasis on practical training in foreign universities, the possibility of choosing a narrow specialization in foreign educational institutions and more stringent conditions for admission.

The 7th International Congress on Special Pedagogy and Psychology “Children with Special Needs: from Equal Rights to Equal Opportunities” was held offline and online on October 7-8, 2021. The event organisers were Mykola Yarmachenko Institute of Special Pedagogy and Psychology of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine and State Institution “South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K.D. Ushynsky”.The annual event initiated by Mykola Yarmachenko Institute of Special Pedagogy and Psychology of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine became traditional and is held in different regions of Ukraine. The previous congresses were held at the leading teacher training universities (Sumy Makarenko State Pedagogical University, Vinnytsia Mykhailo Kotsiubynskyi State Pedagogical University, Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University, Hryhorii Skovoroda University in Pereiaslav, T.H. Shevchenko National University “Chernihiv Colehium”, Municipal Institution of Higher Education «Khortytsia National Educational and Rehabilitational Academy» of Zaporizhzhia Regional Council) and showed great interest due to active participation of the educational community. Within one or two days participants had the opportunity to get acquainted with the research results on urgent problems of special psychology and pedagogy, to take part in a number of round tables, seminars and workshops, which is crucial for representatives of the practice.Key congress themes were: education of children with special needs: international experience, Ukrainian realities and prospects; inclusion in education: progress and challenges; innovations in the education of people with special needs: strategies and technologies of the New Ukrainian School; problems of continuity in education of persons with special needs: preschool institution — general secondary education institution — pre-university training — higher education institution; legislative and regulative provision of access to quality education of persons with special needs; distance education of people with special needs: organizational and pedagogical aspects; technologies for the development of children with special educational needs: diagnosis and early intervention; psychological and pedagogical support of children with special needs and their families in crisis situations; problems of socialization of persons with special needs in terms of systemic change; development of personal and professional competence of teachers: pre-service training, retraining, in-service training.

This article aims to know the perception of educational agents in relation to the attention to diversity in educational establishments in the villages of Talca and Curicó (Chile). The sample was made up of 446 education professionals, grouped into managers, classroom teachers, and professionals in counseling for children and youth with special educational needs. The method implemented was non-experimental, for descriptive purposes, transactional, and a questionnaire was used as instrument for collecting information. The analysis of the information was done through frequency tables. As a conclusion, it can be said that educational agents have a favorable perception in relation to the attention to diversity; the concept of diversity is seen as an enriching element that allows flexibility of the curriculum, the interdisciplinary work, adjustment of the curricular requirements to the needs of students to generate learning opportunities for all students.

The article reveals the problem of social support for children and young people with special educational needs. The necessity of application of horticultural therapy as a special direction of psychosocial, labor and pedagogical rehabilitation of children and young people with special educational needs by involving them in work with plants is substantiated. It is proved that the use of horticultural therapy makes it possible to effectively implement the process of rehabilitation and adaptation of children and teenagers with special educational needs, to provide social assistance to the family raising such children, to reveal additional possibilities of the child’s personality through his interaction with the plant world, to enrich child’s social and adaptive experience, to develop the emotional and volitional sphere. The technology is based on the child's interaction with nature as a process of constant empathy and complicity.Working with plants, a child feels this tiny part of the beautiful nature. By taking care of flowers, children overcome their isolation, insecurity and simply enjoy life. This very moment is very important in rehabilitation.The foreign experience of using horticultural therapy is analyzed. On the basis of the theoretical analysis of foreign and domestic works horticultural therapy is justified as an effective technology in working with children and young people with special educational needs.The main indicators of the effectiveness of the technology are: improvement of somatic and psychoneurological health; increasing level of cognitive activity, formation and development of communication skills; improvement of motor skills; formation of basic knowledge and skills of caring for indoor and garden plants in children; increasing level of parental competence in building effective interaction with the child.Using horticultural therapy technology in the process of working with children and youth with special educational needs provides correction and development of fine motor skills, cognitive, emotional-volitional and personal spheres; promotes the social status of children with special educational needs by including them in socially useful activities; promotes the all-round harmonious development of children and youth, stabilizes their psychological state, further helps them to realize themselves in society.
