The purpose of this study is to analyze the differences in learning motivation and physics learning outcomes between male and female students of class X. This research is a comparative causal research which is an ex post facto research. The population of this research is all of the tenth grade high school students in Nangapanda District as many as 220 students. The sample was determined by proportional random sampling, amounting to 80 students. Data collected in this study are students' learning motivation obtained through the provision of a learning motivation questionnaire and physics learning achievement obtained through physics learning achievement tests in the form of multiple choice questions. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and ANAVA. As a follow-up to ANAVA, a Least Significant Difference (LSD) was used to test the comparison of the pairs of average scores for each gender group. The results of this study indicate that there are differences in learning motivation (F = 62,139; p <0.05) and physics learning achievement (F = 11,377; p <0.05) which are significant between female and male students. Female students have higher learning motivation and physics learning achievement compared to male students. Keywords: Learning Motivation, Physics Learning Achievement, Gender

This research aimed to identify differences in problem solving skill between male and female students. The research subjects were 50 students (21 male and 29 female) who were taken by random sampling technique from two high schools in Malang. The research instrument was adapted from problem solving instruments of Maries & Singh (2018). The data was analyzed by statistic descriptive and Kruskall Wallis test (p-value <0.05). The results showed that overall, there was no significant difference between male and female students (p-value>0.05). However male students performed better than female students on preparing the action (p-value<0.05). The results of this research can be a consideration and input for practitioners of education to improve the quality of education, especially in Indonesia.

Geometry in particular the concept of distance is part of the metamatic science that is widely applied in the real world. The purpose of this research is to know the profile of distance understanding especially students high school student with normal IQ level in terms of gender difference. The research method used is explorative qualitative method, where the researcher as the main subject in the research. To describe the concept of distance, a study of four aspects, namely: 1) understanding aspect, 2) representation aspect, 3) non sample aspect, 4) application aspect to calculate distance. The results obtained from the study, female students in terms of understanding the concept of distance from line to line better than male students, while for the other three aspects, there is no significant difference between male students and female students. The results of this study differ from the results of previous research, which states that male students are better than female students in understanding the mathematical concepts. This result can give implication about opinion and treatment learning process for matemathics theacer’s, that nothing diferences for capacity mathematics as specially about distance concept line to line between male and female students.

This study aims to 1) explore the extent Iraqi high school students’ use of writing strategies; 2) identify the contribution of proficiency level to writing strategy use; and 3) compare male and female students’ writing strategy use. This study employed a quantitative approach, whereby a total of 132 high school students were randomly selected from the Karkh’sdistrict of Baghdad to constitute the sample of the study. A 30-item 3-point Likert scale questionnaire on writing strategy use that was adapted from Petrić&Czárl’s (2003) writing strategy questionnaire served as the instrument of the study. The results of the study reveal that the frequency of strategy use was low among the participants. In addition, no significant difference was found between high and low proficiency students’strategy use. Finally, it was found that there is significant difference between female and male students’ strategy use. Female students were found to use writing strategies more than males. The paper concludes with a discussion on the implications of the findings.

This study aims to prove that gender does not affect the learning achievement of Islamic education and character of junior high school students. The construct in society is that men are superior to women. Men are smarter than women. The problem solving in this research uses quantitative research with comparative analysis. In this study, the authors used data collection techniques in the form of conventionalized results of Mid-Semester Assessment (PTS) and Final Semester Assessment (PAS). The results showed the mean score of male students in the Islamic Religious Education subject was 81.51 with a standard deviation of 6.863 with a total range of 27. The lowest score for male students was 68 and the highest score was 95. The majority of male students scored category is quite good (C) or a value of 75 - 83, that is, there are 25 students or 47.2% of the 53 male students. The average achievement score of female students in the subject of Islamic Religious Education has an average of 85.57 with a standard deviation of 7.324, a total range of 28, the lowest score is 71 and the highest score is 99. The majority of students scored quite well, between scores of 75 -83, namely as many as 20 students or 37.7% of 53 female students. In the independent t test it is known that the sig (2 tailed) value of 0.29 and> 0.05, from these results it shows that Ho is accepted and Ha is rejected, meaning that there is no positive and significant difference between male and female students to get achievement. learn Islamic religious education

This study examined how social opportunity structure influences identity exploration and commitment of Albanian high school students. A total of 258 students completed a questionnaire that gauged their identity exploration and commitment in three domains: education, occupation, and family. ANOVA results indicated that, overall, students scored highest in exploration in the domain of education and in commitment in the domain of family. Students' exploration and commitment were linked to gender. Albanian female students scored higher than male students in exploration and commitment regarding education and family. Perceived work opportunities in Albania or abroad also significantly moderated participants' exploration in the domain of education and were associated with commitment in education and occupation. As one of the first studies to explore Albanian youth's identity development in relation to social opportunity structure, findings are discussed in light of furthering the field of Albanian adolescent and youth development.

The purpose of this research is to analyze the mathematics literacy skills of high school students in terms of gender, especially in the material linear program. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. Data Collection was carried out on the eleventh-grade students of SMA Negeri 1 Meraksa Aji. The subject was 31 students which consisted of 14 females and 17 males. The data was collected using tests and interviews and analyze use method triangulation. The results showed that female students' literacy skills were better than male students. Female students find the indicators of interpreting mathematics to solve problems, formulate problems systematically and use concepts, facts, procedures, and reasoning in mathematics. Meanwhile, male students have only fulfilled the indicators of interpreting mathematics to solve problems.

Many countries have incorporated computational thinking (CT) and programming languages into their science and technology courses. Students can improve their CT ability by learning programming languages. Moreover, situated learning enables students to generate knowledge and master problem-solving skills through interaction with situations. This study incorporated Webduino learning and the situated learning strategy into a programming course and analyzed its impact on high school students’ CT ability, learning motivation, and course satisfaction. A quasi-experimental research method was adopted, wherein the experimental group was subjected to the situated learning strategy and the control group was subjected to a traditional teaching method. The study results revealed that integrating Webduino programming with situated learning could effectively improve five categories of CT skills; moreover, the activity models of situated learning enhanced the value and expectation dimensions of learning motivation. In addition, satisfaction with the course content and self-identity slightly improved. However, because teachers were required to elaborate on stories to promote learner engagement with life situations, the time available for programming was limited. Thus, no significant difference was observed in teaching satisfaction.
