It is determined and substantiated that the most popular type of survey activity for land management is the use of unmanned aerial vehicles, as most traditional methods of geodetic surveys are not effective enough today, they can not provide the required measurement accuracy, especially for landowners and land users. , is very important. An approximate algorithm for the use of unmanned aerial vehicles to solve geodetic problems of land management of united territorial communities, which includes stages of preparation from re-survey to create a digital terrain model, the advantages of using unmanned aerial vehicles over traditional types of geodetic surveys. analyzed a number of features of the use of unmanned aerial vehicles in geodetic surveying for the needs of OTG land management, calculated the economic efficiency of this type of geodetic surveys on a specific example, namely the village of Gamaliyivka Pustomyty district of Lviv region and compared the comparison of traditional costs and time training and the use of unmanned aerial vehicles. At the same time, the ways of improving the process of aerial photography with the help of UAVs are presented both at the normative and at the organizational and technical level. namely, the settlement of Gamaliyivka, Pustomyty district, Lviv region, and a comparison of the cost of time and money in comparison with the traditional method of geodetic surveys and the use of unmanned aerial vehicles. The application of mobile laser scanning and aerial photography from unmanned aerial vehicles for shooting highways is considered. The aim of the research was to compare the results of shooting using mobile laser scanning systems and aerial photography from an unmanned aerial vehicle to de-termine the preferred option for shooting a highway. The experimental part of the research was carried out using the following equipment: scanning was performed using the Topcon IP - S2 Compact sys-tem, aerial photography was carried out from the GEOSCAN 201 unmanned aerial vehicle. Based on the comparative tests performed on the section of the A - 121 "Sortavala" highway, a comparative analysis of the data obtained for various indicators was carried out: the speed of the shooting stages, the cost of a set of equipment, the cost of shooting, and the accuracy of the results was evaluated. Practical recommendations for the application of these methods are given, their advantages and disad-vantages are indicated.

Today, unmanned aerial vehicles are increasingly used in various sectors of economy, including forestry. Therefore, there is a need for rationing and economic evaluation of these types of activity. Technical standardization of labor is an important stage in the implementation of innovative approaches, technologies, techniques, engineering samples and appliances in all spheres of production. This study serves the purpose of assessing the economic performance of unmanned aerial vehicles at aerial field work during forest management planning activities. The separate unit of the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine “Boiarka Forest Research Station” was identified as the base enterprise. The main analyzed means of technics within the scope of this research is the copter type unmanned aerial vehicle DJI Phantom 4. Based on the data of motion and time study of a quadcopter operator’s shifts, a rational balance of working time of a shift alongside with the normative indicators of labor productivity during aerial photographing activity were calculated. It is possible to adjust the production rate depending on the total travelled distance during a working shift. On the basis of the developed standards of labor productivity, the full prime cost of carrying out aerial photography on an area of 1 ha has been calculated. A comparison of the cost of carrying out aerial photography by means of an unmanned aerial vehicle with the cost of forest management planning and forest certification fieldwork has also been carried out. The results of the study suggest that provided the comparable qualitative and quantitative indicators of the collected data, the use of unmanned aerial vehicles for local clarification of the situation is less expensive compared to surveys by field teams.

In this chapter, the authors are presenting opportunities for the use of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) in town. Methods for the optimization of flight routes of UAVs in the dependence of target tasks in the city are presented, for example, area monitoring; search and rescue operations; retransmission of communication (in places, where the antenna coverage cannot be set due to terrain specifications); organization of logistics as the safe, cheap, and fast transportation method of goods; for aerial photography, for controlling traffic; for the provision of the first aid to people in emergencies; unmanned taxi. It is done using air navigation information and mathematical methods. Authors suggest dynamic programming methods, GRID analyses, expert judgment method, and fuzzy-logic methods for estimation of risk/safety of flights in the city. Optimization of flows and flexible redistribution of UAV routes in multilevel airspace is provided according to air navigation requirements and standards.

Abstract. The article discusses the issues of assessing the effectiveness of tactical and technical solutions for prevention of prohibited items delivery to the territory of institutions of the penal system of the Russian Federation using unmanned aerial vehicles. The cost of completing the task was taken as the indicator of efficiency. The task was formulated as guaranteed prevention of flights of unmanned aerial vehicles over the territories of pre-trial detention centers, prisons, colonies and other facilities. In the course of theoretical and experimental studies, conceptual approaches to solving the highlighted problem were substantiated, rational characteristics and operating modes of complexes for countering flights of unmanned aerial vehicles over the territories of institutions of the penal system of the Russian Federation were defined. Key words: penal system, unmanned aerial vehicles, prohibited items, effectiveness of countermeasures.

The report reviewed the algorithm fuzzy c-means, performs image segmentation, give an estimate of the quality of his work on the criterion of Xie-Beni, contain the results of experimental studies of the algorithm in the context of solving the problem of drawing up detailed two-dimensional maps with the use of unmanned aerial vehicles. According to the results of the experiment concluded that the possibility of applying the algorithm in problems of decoding images obtained as a result of aerial photography. The considered algorithm can significantly break the original image into a plurality of segments (clusters) in a relatively short period of time, which is achieved by modification of the original k-means algorithm to work in a fuzzy task.

The use of unmanned aerial vehicles is becoming more and more popular for making high-altitude and orthophotomap models. In this process, series of images are taken at specific intervals, usually lasting several seconds. This article demonstrates the ability to make models and orthophotomaps from dynamic images – video recorded from UAV. The best mutual coverage of photographs was indicated (95–96%) and the photogrammetric process for joining images was presented, through the creation of a point cloud to obtain a digital terrain model and the orotfotomap. The data was processed in 150 different variants and the usefulness of this method was demonstrated. Problems and errors that may occur during the processing of recorded image data are also described.

Abstract The paper studies the reliability of transmission lines of Michurinsk district electric lines in Tambov Region. It evaluates the quality of overhead power transmission lines in the support-insulator-wire system and determines the reliability factor of overhead lines. The paper proposes methodological approaches to the survey of power transmission lines using unmanned aerial vehicles. Their use seems quite promising and profitable, since the cost of such work is an order of magnitude lower.
