The e-commerce marketplace in Malaysia is showing an advantageous trend, with gross value added contributed 6. 3% to gross domestic product (GDP) in 2017.Online purchasing has attained a lot of important factors in the current marketing. But, because of the number of growth of trouble makers or scams had increased, such activities will create a fear in the mind of customers and as well can influence the attitude or mind set of consumers toward online purchase. Therefore, the issue in this area of this survey is customer’s dissatisfaction and attitudes towards online purchasing.Apart from that, customers also concern about the security level whenever they order products online. The security refers to online transaction safety. The previous researchers suggest that the lack of security on the website will make the customers to have doubt or serious concern about their credit card transactions and privacy of personal information to avoid cybercrimes.In spite of comfort and advantages of online shopping, e-commerce poses a few demanding situations and concerns amongst consumers on security and privateness problems. Thus, this phase intends to identify degree of situation in regards to these issues. In widespread, slightly extra than half of on-line buyers claimed that they are problem on safety and privacy at the same time as buying online. The regression analysis indicates fraud and security was found to have significant at 5% significant level (sig, t = 0.004). This could explained that customers are more likely to take serious on fraud and security of the products they purchased.

Unfortunately, cyber-criminals have found ways to steal personal information found on credit cards and debit cards and fraudulently use this information to purchase products and services which costs merchants lost revenue and fees for chargebacks. This article discusses the process by which credit card payments are processed beginning with the e-commerce merchant’s web site to a credit card processor or service gateway to the credit card company’s network to the issuing bank’s network with an accept or decline response being returned to the merchant’s shopping cart system via the same networks. The article addresses the issue of credit card fraud in terms of how the cyber-criminals function and the potential solutions used to deter these attempts by the cybercriminals. A list of preventive measures that should be used by e-commerce merchants is provided.

The expansion of electronic commerce (E-commerce) has become an increasing reality due to Internet’s rapid growth during the last few years. E-commerce is growing at an exceptional rate with more organizations offering their goods and services online every day. Importantly, this growth is being matched by the number of people gaining access to the Internet in a variety of ways. E-commerce offers opportunities as well as threats. Information is crucial for any organization, especially in the e-market. The lack of an effective and trusted payment system that can be used in combination with online shopping has been limiting factor in the growth of Internet sales. Consumers are hesitant to provide personal information, including credit card details, over the Internet because of high perception of risk and concerns with privacy. Establishment of Information Security System can minimize the threats and risks. Technology can play an important role in intensifying trust in the information society and securing consumer rights. E-commerce will not be successful without protecting the consumers’ rights, especially in the area of information security. The research highlights the relevant theories of information security within the e-commerce sectors, including identifying and investigating the problems.

The paper argues that if Pakistan is to survive and prosper under the competitive conditions of the new global economy, then it must move away from its overwhelming dependence on “cottonomics” into more technology- and knowledge-based products where global growth is concentrated. For this to happen, it must break out of the “lowlevel skills trap”, which is the result of the very low levels of education and skills of its work force. It then poses the question whether the development of a well-educated and skilled labour force is sufficient for the country to graduate from labour-intensive to higher value-added, skill-intensive, technologically advanced sectors. The paper argues that while this is essential, the real challenge is to change the mind-set and develop institutions which recognise the value of investing in people and provide dignity, respect, and a fair deal for working men and women.

When it comes to secure transactions online, the requirements of confidentiality and authenticity are usually concerned the most. The former prevents unauthorized reading, while the latter ensures authorized access. Hybrid cryptographic mechanisms such as authenticated encryption (AE) schemes, simultaneously combine the functions of public key encryption and digital signature. Some AE schemes also provide a cost-free arbitration mechanism to deal with the signer’s later repudiation. Such schemes have been found to have numerous practical applications like on-line credit card transactions, confidential contract signing and the protection of digital evidence, etc. However, a designated verifier should also have the ability to convince any third party that he/she is indeed the intended recipient. In this paper, the author presents a novel verifiable authenticated encryption (VAE) scheme with the functionality of recipient proof. Furthermore, the paper shows that the proposed VAE scheme is non-delegatable and provably secure under the random oracle proof models. A non-delegatable hybrid cryptographic scheme provides a higher security level even if the shared common key is compromised. Specifically, the author of the paper will demonstrate that the designed construction is proved secure against adaptive chosen-ciphertext attacks (CCA2) assuming the hardness of Bilinear Square Diffie-Hellman Problem (BSDHP) and secure against adaptive chosen-message attacks (CMA) assuming the hardness of q-Strong Diffie-Hellman Problems (q-SDHP).


Promotion of digital India and due to uphold benefits of e-shopping; online market is observing constant growth in India. End of 2019 has faced global disease of COVIND 19 which has highly affected world economy. The lockdown period observed closing of traditional i.e. local market as the only solution to avoid spreading of COVIND 19 was to follow social distancing. Although online business exists the then period taught every firm big or small to do business through e-market. Thus online shopping rate increased during lockdown period as per reports given by periodicals and news channel. Therefore this study will give input for factors that affect E-shopping behavior especially for college students in Gujarat. The study was based on opinion of respondents collected through structured questionnaire which were filled by students of Gujarat University and Hemchandracharya North Gujarat University. Both descriptive analysis and inferential analysis were considered for the study. The findings of the study identified personal examination of products, worried of fraud while giving debit card/credit card information and also have fear of misuse for personal information shared on e-shopping sites as major barriers for e-shopping. Motivating factors identified were that e-shopping saves time, is convenient and it provides very attractive festival offers. The study concluded that motivating factors for online shopping have significant effect on e-shopping behavior. Satisfaction for eshopping also moderately affects e-shopping decision.

The main purpose of this study is to examine the effects of health workers’ levels of work commitment on the levels of depression and burnout.  Having this purpose in mind, a questionnaire consisting of personal information form, work commitment scale, burnout scale and depression scale was conducted with 266 health workers of İstanbul Kartal Training and Research Hospital in May 2013. Data obtained from questionnaires were analyzed by SPSS 17,0 statistical software. Correlation analysis was utilized in order to determine the relationships among work commitment, burnout and depression levels of health workers whereas regression analysis was utilized in order to determine the effects of health workers’ levels of work commitment on the levels of depression and burnout. According to the results, it has been found that there are statistically relevant relationships among work commitment, burnout and depression levels of health workers. It has been concluded that the more health workers’ levels of work commitment increase, their levels of depression and burnout decrease.

Trends in windthrow management during the last 50 years in Lower Valais (essay) A review on the measures taken in forests hit by storms during the last 50 years reveals the mind-set behind the evolution of management operations. In the 1960s, to remove all dead wood in a stand was perfectly normal due to timber prices. Between 1984 and 1990, vast sums of money were pumped into the improvement of forest structures facing the threat of a general forest dieback. As a consequence, only few of the windthrow areas caused by storm Vivian remained with no intervention. Vivian also marked the beginning of manifold research activities and practical terrain examination in windthrow gaps. Conclusions of this first research phase resulted in a critical assessment of the windthrow areas caused by Lothar in 1999, considering different goals than systematic removal of damage wood and the prevention of bark beetle outbreaks. Since the 1990s, retaining timber after windthrow has been lively discussed, as well as the maintenance of the protection function against natural hazards and opportunities for biodiversity. Several handbooks were developed and successfully used for the planning and defining of top priority measures in damaged forests that resulted from disturbances in 2011 and 2012 in Lower Valais. These recent disturbances together with the certainty that storms will recur led to the formation of a task force in the canton Valais, aiming to organize both logistics and funds, as well as to define management priorities regarding a next hazard.

The advent of the Internet has significantly changed consumption patterns and habits. Online grocery shopping is a way of purchasing food products using a web-based shopping service. The current COVID-19 pandemic is determining a rethinking of purchase choice elements and of consumers’ behavior. This work aims to investigate which characteristics can affect the decision of online food shopping during the pandemic emergency in Italy. In particular, the work aims to analyze the effects of a set of explanatory variables on the level of satisfaction for the food online shopping experience. For achieving this aim, the proportional odds version of the cumulative logit model is carried out. Data derive from an anonymous on-line questionnaire administrated during the first months of the pandemic and filled by 248 respondents. The results of this work highlight that people having familiarity with buying food online, that have a higher educational level and consider food online channels easy to use, appear more satisfied for the food online shopping experience. These findings can be crucial for the future green global challenges as online shopping may help to reach competitive advantages for company sustainability.
