Due to the fact that extraverted and introverted personalities behave and react rather differently, especially in the context of foreign language learning, teachers and learners often believe that these two personality types have different learning habits and require different learning environments. This is often reflected in different choices of language learning strategies that these two personality types make, which has already been proven in several research studies. However, these studies did not investigate the selection of language learning strategies in connection to extraversion/introversion among high school students, so this paper aims to determine any possible links for this age group. In order to do that the research relies on the EPQR-S to determine the students' personality type and Strategy Inventory for Language Learning to determine the participants' strategy preference. The participants who took part in this research were sixty first- and second-grade students aged 15 to 17 from a medical high school in Novi Sad. The results from this research were analyzed quantitatively and, based on the results, it can be concluded that there are differences in strategy selection. Extraverts use compensation strategies most frequently, while affective strategies are reported to be the least frequently used. Introverts, on the other hand, report the highest use for metacognitive strategies and the lowest for affective strategies, similar to extraverts.

Background and Objective: Rational, emotional, and behavioral skills include self-awareness, as well as critical and creative thinking, which assist individuals in acquiring a deeper understanding of their personality, weaknesses, strengths, emotions, values, and identity. The present research aimed to compare the effect of the rational-emotional theory and strict discipline on rational, emotional, and behavioral skills among high school second-grade students. Materials and Methods: The current study was conducted based on a pre and post-test design on three groups, including one control and two test groups. The statistical population consisted of 90 male second-grade high school students in Tehran during 2019-2020. The G*Power software was used to calculate the sample size. A number of 75 second-grade students were recruited for this study via the convenient sampling method. After that, the participants were assigned to three groups of 25 students. A self-made questionnaire of life skills, similar to Saatchi, Kamkar, and Askarian, was employed for data collection. Fifteen experts in curriculum planning confirmed the internal and external validity of the questionnaire. Moreover, its reliability was confirmed, rendering a Cronbach's alpha coefficient of 0.92. The data were analyzed in SPSS software (version 21) using multi-variant analysis of the covariance and Scheffe's Post Hoc test. Results: Based on the results, the rational-emotional method had a more significant effect on students' rational (F=11.56, P<0.001), emotional (F=20.33, P<0.001), and behavioral skills (F=16.67, P<0.001), compared to the strict discipline. Conclusions: It can be concluded that life skill training through rational-emotional theory brings about a marked increase in students' rational, behavioral, and emotional skills. Nevertheless, the strict discipline method revealed no significant association between training students on life skills and increased rational, behavioral, and emotional skills.

Teaching in high schools needs specific techniques, methods and skills in order to motivate the students (Ss) properly. In this study, the aim was to explore the effect of humor on students' grammar performance and their motivation. The study was designed as true-experimental research-randomized control experimental group, pre-test, post-test design. The participants were second grade high school students (120 students) in four classes. So, the researcher gave them a Nelson test in order to homogenize them. Out of 120 Ss, only 60 Ss who could get 50% percent of score were selected. Then, the Ss randomly were assigned one member of each pair to the experimental group and the other to the control group containing 30 Ss male in each cause-effect relationship between the independent and dependent variables. Then, the data analysis was done by SPSS version 21. The results indicated that there were statistically significant differences between the gained scores in the groups, namely experimental group in comparison to the control group. A questionnaire was also given to the participants to gather their opinions about humor and its effect on their motivation. The finding showed that a large number of students agree of using humor, because it is enjoyable and motivator. It can be concluded that there is significance relationship between using humor and the Ss grammar performance, and their motivations. . Then, through giving the treatment and placebo to the experimental and control groups, respectively, the researcher tried to observe the direct
