A learning media is very important to support a course to achieve the learning objective. This study deals with how are students’ perspectives on using Telegram Messenger that used as a learning media at English Study Program of Universitas Islam Riau. This research was a descriptive qualitative research. It was conducted at Universitas Islam Riau at Jalan Kaharuddin Nasution No. 133 Pemberhentian Marpoyan, Pekanbaru-Riau from January until May 2017 with the samples were the fifth semester students at English Study Program. The research instrument in this research was a questionnaire that consists of 20 statements of (1) perceived usefulness (2) perceived ease to use (3) attitude toward using (4) actual system use. Further, to get the information related to four indicators in this research, the researcher employed likert scale, 5 was given for strongly agree (SA), 4   for agree (A), 3 for undecided (U), 2 for disagree (D), and 1 for strongly disagree (SD). The questionnaire used close-ended question in online questionnaire, asking the respondent to get students’ perspective on using Telegram Messenger by checking one check box in Survey Monkey. The students’ perspectives in perceived ease of use for strongly agree which was 35%, perceived usefulness for strongly agree was 22%, attitude toward usage for strongly agree was 30%, actual system use for strongly agree was 19%, actual system use for strongly agree was 19%. In other words, respondent positively responded.

A new paradigm emerged in the field of education along with the development of increasingly advanced technology, namely the emergence of an electronic learning system known as e-learning. One of the e-learning media that is currently popular in Indonesia is Ruangguru online learning application that can be accessed through smartphone. The purpose of this study is to analyze the factors that influence student’s acceptance of Ruangguru application using Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) method. The 5 (five) constructs of the TAM research model were used, namely Perceived Usefulness, Perceived Ease of Use, Attitude Toward Using, Actual System Use, and Behavioral Intention of Use. The data collection used is an online questionnaire with purposive sampling technique. The results show that Attitude Towards Using did not have a significant effect on Behavioral Intention of Use, meaning that the students’ attitude towards using of did not affect students' intentions in using Ruangguru application. At the same time, the relationship of Perceived Ease of Use to Perceived Usefulness is the most significant influence where the ease in using Ruangguru application makes users feel that Ruangguru application is useful.

This study aims to identify the students’ acceptance level of the use of Google Classroom as a platform in Blended-learning and to compare the results between three departments of Language and Arts Department in FKIP of Universitas Riau. Data of this survey research were collected through an online survey using Google form and analysed descriptively. The survey was distributed to all students and 205 of them responded the survey coming from three departments: English Language and Arts Department, Indonesian Language and Arts Department, and Japanese Language and Arts Department in FKIP of Universitas Riau. The questionnaires in the survey used Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) proposed by Davis (1986) with four indicators to measure the students’ acceptance: Perceived Usefulness (PU), Perceived Ease of Use (PEU),  Behavioral Intention (BI), and Actual System Use (AU).   The students’ acceptance levels in terms of  Perceived usefulness (62,8%) was in very good category; Perceived Ease of Use (67,2%) was in very good category; Behavioral Intention (69%) was in very good category; and Actual System Use (48,55%) was  good category. The result shows that the level of the students’ acceptance of Google Classroom, in general, is Very Good (62%). It means, the students positively accepted Google Classroom as a platform in blended-learning. Behavioral Intention was the indicator with the highest percentage (69%) which explains that students are interested and intend to increase their use of the Google Classroom. Data also shows that out of the three departments, English Language and Arts Department has the highest average mean score (3.67) followed by Indonesian Language and Arts Department (3.57) and Japanese Language and Arts Department (3.54). This study implies that English department students experienced more acceptance in using the Google Classroom compared to the other two departments.

Abstract The presence of Fintech (Financial Technology) services in digital financial inclusion in Indonesia has become a new market share in line with the growth of electronic commerce (e-commerce) which has increased in the last five years. Fintech is currently in great demand and is used because of the ease of doing banking transactions with the support of user friendly technology. In this study using 40 student respondents with a sampling technique using convenience sampling associated with Fintech-based payment applications using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) approach. The purpose of this study is to find out how enthusiastic the young generation or students are in the perception of acceptance of Fintech-based payment application technology. Based on the analysis using quantitative descriptive approach shows that most respondents strongly agree with the existence of this technology indicated by the acquisition of perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, attitude towards using, behavioral intention to use, and actual system use percentage ranges of 45-72%.

Minimnya SDM serta sarana dan prasarana di Perpustakaan Universitas Muhammadiyah Bengkulu menyebabkan banyaknya kesalahan yang terjadi dalam pengolahan bahan pustaka baik disengaja maupun tidak disengaja. Kesalahan tersebut berdampak pada kinerja dan kegiatan operasional perpustakaan yang mengakibatkan kerugian baik secara material maupun tenaga dan waktu. Oleh karena itu, perlu dilakukan evaluasi terhadap sistem otomasi software SLiMS dalam pengolahan bahan pustaka.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana evaluasi software SLiMS dalam pengolahan bahan pustaka di UPT Perpustakaan Universitas Muhammadiyah Bengkulu. Penelitian ini termasuk ke dalam penelitian deskriftif kualitatif dengan jumlah informan sebanyak 7 orang. Tekhnik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik wawancara dan dokumentasi di lapangan.Hasil penelitian pada indikator eksternal variable diketahui bahwa SLiMS bermanfaat dan memudahkan dalam kegiatan perpustakaan. Pada indikator perceived ease of use diketahui SLiMS mudah dalam penggunaan dan pengoperasiannya. Indikator perceived usefulness diketahui SLiMS memudahkan pustakawan dalam pengolahan bahan pustaka membantu dalam menemukan informasi, membantu menyelesaikan pekerjaan dengan cepat, meningkatkan kinerja pustakawan. Pada indikator Behavioral intention diketahui SLiMS membantu kegiatan pengolahan bahan pustaka dengan baik dan efisien. Berdasarkan indikator Actual system use diketahui bahwa penggunaan SLiMS di Perpustakaan Universitas Muhammadiyah Bengkulu sudah efektif.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana teknologi berupa layanan syariah linkaja dapat diterima pada kalangan masyarakat di kota Palembang. Kerangka pemikiran telah dikembangkan berdasarkan Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) dengan metode penelitian kuantitatif beruapa perangkat SmartPLS. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa perceived ease of use dan perceived usefulness berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap actual system use, perceived ease of use berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap minat menggunakan, perceived usefulness tidak berpengaruh terhadap minat menggunakan, minat menggunakan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap actual system use,  perceived ease of use berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap actual system use melalui minat menggunakan, dan perceived usefulness tidak berpengaruh terhadap actual system use melalui minat menggunakan.

Kemajuan teknologi telah memberikan dampak yang sangat penting bagi dunia pendidikan, khususnya dalam konteks English Foreign Language (EFL). Kahoot! merupakan salah satu inovasi yang dapat digunakan guru untuk meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa dalam sesi pembelajaran sebagai media dalam proses belajar mengajar. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui persepsi siswa terhadap pemanfaatannya. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan penelitian kualitatif karena untuk mendeskripsikan persepsi siswa terhadap Kahoot! pemakaian. Partisipan dari penelitian ini adalah 38 mahasiswa semester VI Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris di salah satu Perguruan Tinggi Vokasi di Riau. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui kuesioner dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 10 siswa memiliki persepsi positif dalam Perceived Usefulness, 9 siswa memiliki persepsi positif dalam Perceived Ease of Use, 11 siswa memiliki persepsi positif dalam Sikap terhadap Using, 13 siswa memiliki persepsi positif dalam Behavioral Intention to Use, dan 3 siswa memiliki persepsi positif dalam Actual System Use. Penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa persepsi siswa terhadap Kahoot! positif dalam proses belajar mengajar.

This research explored the participants’ use of Google Classroom and evaluated its acceptability using the Technology Acceptability Model (TAM). The respondents were limited to 56 teachers enrolled in the research methodology class in a graduate school of a certain university in Bulacan during the first semester of the school year 2019-2020. The study utilized a mixed-method design. Triangulated were the result of the TAM survey, the analysis of the open-ended survey, and the record of the submission frequency of the respondents through Google Classroom. The descriptive approach was also utilized to describe the respondents' technology acceptance when using Google Classroom through the administration of the TAM survey questionnaire. The study also determined which TAM factor affected the consistency of the use of Google Classroom the most. Among the factors, actual system use appeared to have significantly affected the respondents' consistency of using Google Classroom. A separate open-ended survey was conducted to verify the data derived from the TAM survey questionnaire. The open-ended survey revealed that despite the difficulty of having a good internet connection, all of the respondents agreed that Google Classroom is very useful, easy to use and would recommend its use to others. The consistency of actual use, through online submission, was recorded and served as the dependent variable. In terms of consistency, it was observed that 62.5% of the respondents were able to submit 11 to 12 out of 12 total number of activities through Google Classroom. It was concluded that the use of Google Classroom, though a new experience, made them realize how their life as a teacher can be more comfortable with the use of this technology. Google classroom can work in unidirectional process as it can serve the teachers’ strategies and styles on one hand and students’ perception, understanding, and effective participation in different classroom skills on the other hand. The ac-ceptance of Google classroom is affected by different factors. Some of them are still not clearly specified and discussed in previous research; therefore, they need further investigation. Based on the previous assumption, this study is an attempt to examine the factors that affect the students’ acceptance of Google classroom at Al Buraimi University College (BUC) in Oman. The Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) was adopted to formulate the hypotheses of the current study. The data was collected through an online questionnaire with 337 respondents. The Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Model (PLS-SEM) approach was used to assess both the measurement and structural models. The results of the study prove that both the perceived ease of use (PEOU) and perceived usefulness (PU) positively influence the behavioral intention, which in turn influence the actual usage of Google classrooms. This study helps the decision makers of the higher educational institutions to have a better understanding of the effectiveness of us-ing Google classroom by their students. It is assumed that it helps in measuring the level of students’ acceptance to the previously mentioned technology.

AbstractEarly identification of patients with life-threatening risks such as delirium is crucial in order to initiate preventive actions as quickly as possible. Despite intense research on machine learning for the prediction of clinical outcomes, the acceptance of the integration of such complex models in clinical routine remains unclear. The aim of this study was to evaluate user acceptance of an already implemented machine learning-based application predicting the risk of delirium for in-patients. We applied a mixed methods design to collect opinions and concerns from health care professionals including physicians and nurses who regularly used the application. The evaluation was framed by the Technology Acceptance Model assessing perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, actual system use and output quality of the application. Questionnaire results from 47 nurses and physicians as well as qualitative results of four expert group meetings rated the overall usefulness of the delirium prediction positively. For healthcare professionals, the visualization and presented information was understandable, the application was easy to use and the additional information for delirium management was appreciated. The application did not increase their workload, but the actual system use was still low during the pilot study. Our study provides insights into the user acceptance of a machine learning-based application supporting delirium management in hospitals. In order to improve quality and safety in healthcare, computerized decision support should predict actionable events and be highly accepted by users.

Abstrak: Faktor Penentu Kualitas Layanan dan Minat untuk Melanjutkan Penggunaan Sistem Pelaporan Online. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, kenyamanan, dan keamanan terhadap kualitas layanan dan minat untuk melanjutkan menggunakan SIPP online di BPJS Ketenagakerjaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei online kepada 50 perusahaan peserta BPJS Ketenagakerjaan dengan segmentasi Platinum dan Gold. Kuesioner online diisi oleh Kepala Bagian Sumber Daya Manusia. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan PLS-SEM. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa kualitas layanan secara signifikan dipengaruhi oleh perceived ease of use dan kenyamanan, sedangkan minat melanjutkan penggunaan SIPP online hanya dipengaruhi oleh perceived usefulness. Kata Kunci: minat melanjutkan penggunaan, kualitas layanan, sistem pelaporan online Abstract: Determinants of Service Quality and Continuance Intention to Use Online Reporting System. This study aims to analyze the effect of perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, convenience, and security towards service quality and continuance intention to use SIPP online at BPJS Employment. This study uses online survey method to 50 companies participating in BPJS Employment with Platinum and Gold segmentation. The online questionnaire was filled by the head of Human Resources Department. Data were analyzed using PLS-SEM. The results show that service quality was significantly influenced by perceived ease of use and convenience, while continuance intention to use SIPP online was only influenced by perceived usefulness. Keywords: continuance intention, service quality, online reporting system
