This study analyses the factors affecting the depth of outreach of Microfinance Institutions (MFIs) of UED-SP at Rambah Sub-district Rokan Hulu District. Factors thought to influence the depth of outreach is age of UED-SP, ROA, percent of trading sector clients, percent of agriculture sector clients and number of woman clients. The sampling method is done using by purposive sampling. This study obtained a sample of twelve UED-SPs in the village at Rambah District from in the period of 2012-2015. The data used is secondary data form pooled data. Data were obtained based on the financial reports of each of the samples. This study uses quantitative approach with analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis with fixed effect method of pooled data that were previously tested with the classical assumption test. Hypothesis testing using t-statistic and the F-statistic with 95% confidence level. Based on the classic assumption test found no variables that deviate. This shows that the available data has been qualified using the linear regression equation model. The results of this study show that depth of outreach are statistically significant infiuenced by age of UED-SP. However, it’s negatively affect on depth of outhreach. Whereas ROA, number of woman borrower, percent of agriculture sector clients and percent of trading sector clients has no affect on depth of outhreach. Predictive ability of these five variables on the depth of outhreach is 77,66 percent, while the 22,34 percent influenced by other factors not included in the research model.

This study aims to analyze and examine the Influence of Company Size, Profitability, Liquidity, and Financial Leverage on Income Smoothing Actions. This study uses four independent variables such as Company Size, Profitability, Liquidity, and Financial Leverage and the dependent variable that is income smoothing actions. Index Excel is used to determine the income smoothing practice. Types of data are secondary data and the method of analysis used multiple linear regression. Based on the results of multiple linear regression analysis the results of the study concluded company size and profitability don't affect income smoothing. While liquidity and financial leverage affect income smoothing. For further research, it is recommended to add relevant variables in influencing income smoothing actions, consider the research period, and add to the research sample.

This study examines the factors that affect the company's capability to perform integrated reporting. The analysis used in testing the hypothesis is multiple linear regression analysis. Results show that company’s size has positive and significant connection and stakeholder’s pressure has negative and significant connection with the company’s capability in performing integrated reporting. In contrast, level of company’s profitability, company’s managerial ownership, and company’s institutional ownership did not have enough connection with company’s capability in performing integrated reporting.

This study aims to analyze the significance of the influence of GDP and Population partially on the Original Income of Mimika Regency, and to analyze the significance of the influence of GDP and Population simultaneously on the Original Income of Mimika Regency. The data used in this study are secondary data obtained from BPS Mimika Regency and Mimika District Financial and Asset Management Agency. To analyze the data used multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that: (a) GDP had a negative and insignificant effect on the Original Revenue of Mimika Regency; (b) The number of residents has a positive and significant effect on the Original Income of Mimika Regency; (c) GDP and Population simultaneously have a significant impact on the Original Revenue of Mimika Regency.

Universitas Harapan Medan is a leading university in Medan with four faculties divided into fourteen study programs consisting of three vocational programs, ten undergraduate programs, and a postgraduate program. This study aimed to empirically examine the influence of perceptions of accreditation, cost of education, and promotion on the decision of prospective students. It used a quantitative approach. The population and samples were 227 and 145 people respectively. The types of data used were primary and secondary data. The data collection techniques used were questionnaires, interviews, literature review, and document review. Tests carried out in this study were validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests including normality test, multicollinearity test, and heteroscedasticity test, hypothesis tests including F test and t test, multiple linear regression analysis, and coefficient of determination (R2). The result of multiple linear regression was Y = 3.882 + 0.294 X1 + 0.027 X2 + 0.584 X3.In this study, the result also indicated that 62.8% of the Decision of Prospective Students at Universitas Harapan Medan were influenced by Accreditation (X1), Cost of Education (X2), and Promotion (X3), while the remaining 37.2% were influenced by other factors not being examined.

Dividend policy has been an important component in the arena of financial literature and providing evidence that dividend payout decisions are affected by various factors. Numerous studies have been conducted so far on corporate dividend policy in Bangladesh. The pharmaceuticals and chemicals industries of Bangladesh offer a lot of investment panorama for the retail investors. This research has been an endeavor to determine the factors affecting the dividend policy of these promising industries, and guide the investment decisions of the equity investors. In this attempt, this study is also a unique one to incorporate the chemicals industry along with the pharmaceuticals industry as both the industries constitute the 'pharmaceuticals and chemicals sector' listed in the stock market of Bangladesh. The study is a quantitative one based on secondary data. It comprises of different statistical analyses such as descriptive statistics, correlation matrix and multiple linear regression analysis, etc. Firm size, growth, liquidity, profitability, last year's dividend and P/E ratio are used as dependent variables. Besides, ownership structure, firm age, market share, and risk are used as control variables. The study explores that firm size has significant negative and last year’s dividend has significant positive relationship with dividend payout. However, dividend payout does not depend on firm growth, liquidity, profitability and P/E ratio of a firm. The research outcome may have important implications for the improvement of investors' perceptions, which may assist them in their investment decisions in the researched industries. Certainly more work lies ahead to add to explanations for why some of the factors affect the dividend policy of the industries, while others have no significant impact thereon.
