Abstract : This study analysis the factors affecting the depth of outreach of
Microfinance Institutions (MFIs) of UED-SP at Rambah Sub-district Rokan Hulu
District. Factors thought to influence the depth of outreach is age of UED-SP, ROA,
percent of trading sector clients, percent of agriculture sector clients and number of
woman clients. The sampling method is done using by purposive sampling. This study
obtained a sample of twelve UED-SPs in the village at Rambah District from in the
period of 2012-2015. The data used is secondary data form pooled data. Data were
obtained based on the financial reports of each of the samples. This study uses
quantitative approach with analysis technique used is multiple linear regression
analysis with fixed effect model of pooled data that were previously tested with the
classical assumption test. Hypothesis testing using t-statistic and the F-statistic with
95% confidence level. Based on the classic assumption test found no variables that
deviate. This shows that the available data has been qualified using the linear
regression equation model. The results of this study show that depth of outreach are
statistically significant infiuenced by age of UED-SP. However, it’s negatively affect
on depth of outhreach. Whereas ROA, number of woman borrower, percent of
agriculture sector clients and percent of trading sector clients has no affect on depth of
outhreach. Predictive ability of these five variables on the depth of outhreach is 77,66
percent, while the 22,34 percent influenced by other factors not included in the
research model.

Abstrak : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi
kedalaman jangkauan (Depth of Outrech) pada LKM UED-SP di Kecamatan Rambah
Kabupaten Rokan Hulu. This study aims to examine some factors affecting the financial performance of manufacturing companies in the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). This research uses data on the financial statements of 20 manufacturing companies listed on IDX in the period 20132017 and carried out share distribution facilities for their employees. This research model is a panel regression model done by testing the common effect model, fixed-effect model, and random effect model. Based on the Chow test and Hausman test, it is found that the best model in this study is the fixed effect model. The study results find that dividend policy, a share giving program to employees, and debt to equity ratio are significant factors affecting the financial performance of manufacturing companies in Indonesia. From these three factors, the debt to equity ratio is the dominant factor determining the financial performance of manufacturing companies, while investment decision does not significantly affect it. Future research studies can be carried out by focusing on other industrial sectors such as the Jakarta Islamic Index 70 and adding other macroeconomic variables.

The objective of this study is to examine the determinants of labor absorption in the trade, hotel and restaurant sector and its impact on Gross Regional Domestic Product/GRDP at Bali Province. This study is important due to the fact that the GRDP in this sector is the highest compared to other sector but the labor absorption is lower than the agriculture sector. This study used panel data comprising 9 regencies/cities at Bali Province in the period 2003-2009 including fixed effect model and simultaneous equation model of Two-Stage Least Square. The results showed that GRDP, working age population, and the minimum wage have positive effect on employment, while the educated unemployment has no significant effect on the employment in the trade, hotel and restaurant sector. In addition, increases in employment and workers productivity have positive and significant effects the GRDP in the trade, hotel and restaurant sector at Bali Province.

Income inequality is a major problem in Thailand. A key determinant of income inequality in Thailand is the lack of financial access to financial institutions for low-income families. Microfinance institutions (MFIs) play an important role in enabling poor households to access financial resources at a reasonable cost. The purpose of this paper is to investigate factors that affect Thai households participating in microfinance programs in Thailand. A multinomial logit model is used to investigate the factors that impact the Thai households’ access to microfinance. The study employs secondary data from the Thai Socioeconomic Survey (cross-sectional data in 2017) to identify factors affecting Thai household participation in microfinance programs. The results show that the Village Fund (VF) targets low-income rural households and encourages those with older household heads who have lower levels of education, and female household heads, to participate in their program. Larger households are more likely to access the VF. Households with higher dependency ratios are less likely to borrow from the VF. Households with well-educated, young household heads in regional areas are more likely to borrow money from Saving Groups for Production (SGPs). SGP borrower households have higher household incomes than VF borrower households. Our findings indicate that VFs and SGPs are credit sources in the rural credit market; these sources enable rural households to access credit to meet their needs. In addition, rural Thai households borrow from many sources so that they can rotate their loan repayments. Low-income households refinance their loans by borrowing from different sources.

Food production provides an overview of developing a country's agriculture resilience and food security. Several factors can affect food production. They can be divided into agriculture factors and non-agriculture factors. This research aims to find agricultural and non-agricultural factors affecting food production. We assume the food production with a used average value of food production. A quantitative approach using a panel data model approach using for this research. The data used is secondary data. The results are that the factors that can affect food production with a used average value of food production are dependent variables. In this research, we used independent variables as follows agriculture land are, agriculture value-added, employment in the agriculture sector, credit to agriculture, and control variable. Control variables used in this research are annual population, gross domestic product, and political stability. This research is based on Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, and the Philippines. We used data panel regression for estimating the model, the data period used is in the period 2010-2019. This study provides recommendations that in increasing the optimization of food production, it is necessary to plan for value-added, empower workers, suppress population growth, and political stability.
