The era of globalization is now progressing very rapidly. One of the advances in information technology penetrated the health field. Use and utilization of this technology is one of the right solutions for problem solving public services. At least utilization of it will address the geographical, time and socioeconomic issues. Some research mentioned that the utilization of technology in the field of health can improve health service and can change health behavior. Information is a very important thing, because all things related to public health is information that is well managed and safe, so it takes a safe and smooth system for all information obtained can be used for the benefit of health services more optimal and can benefit the entire community

Form of medical entity and medical servicesHealth undoubtedly belongs of the fundamental existential values for human. Current legal regulations state that everyone is entitled to health care. Health care is agovernment task, executed especially by local government units. An individual has the right to claim medical services related to the protection of life and health from the public health service. For their practical implementation, government establishes a system of entities obliged to take action in this field. Unfortunately, the actions taken do not create a unified system in which the patient and his health are the most important value.

ABSTRACTEvery year, there are larger and more severe disasters and health organizations are struggling to respond with services to keep public health systems running. Making decisions with limited health information can negatively affect response activities and impact morbidity and mortality. An overarching challenge is getting the right health information to the right health service personnel at the right time. As responding agencies engage in social media (eg, Twitter, Facebook) to communicate with the public, new opportunities emerge to leverage this non-traditional information for improved situational awareness. Transforming these big data is dependent on computers to process and filter content for health information categories relevant to health responders. To enable a more health-focused approach to social media analysis during disasters, 2 major research challenges should be addressed: (1) advancing methodologies to extract relevant information for health services and creating dynamic knowledge bases that address both the global and US disaster contexts, and (2) expanding social media research for disaster informatics to focus on health response activities. There is a lack of attention on health-focused social media research beyond epidemiologic surveillance. Future research will require approaches that address challenges of domain-aware, including multilingual language understanding in artificial intelligence for disaster health information extraction. New research will need to focus on the primary goal of health providers, whose priority is to get the right health information to the right medical and public health service personnel at the right time.

Clinical practitioners need to have the right information, at the right time, at the right place, which is possible with mobile healthcare information technology. This chapter will help in understanding the need for mobile device usage across six different roles in healthcare: physicians, nurses, administrative staff, pharmaceutical staff, emergency staff, and patients. Research indicates that even in this advancing digital age, there are more than 98,000 deaths because of preventable medical errors. This can be abated with proper utilization of mobile devices in the healthcare sector. Utilization of technology in the process of sharing information may help in improving the decision making, and thereby reducing the medical errors and costs involved. This chapter illustrates the implementation and the application of mobile devices in healthcare from six different user perspectives, and summarizes the advantages, challenges, and solutions associated with mobile information technology implementation in healthcare.

This chapter examines the opportunities to improve the health of homeless people and the challenge for the National Health Service (NHS) in Scotland, working with its partners, to play a full role in the prevention of homelessness. It first considers why homelessness is a public health and health equity issue before discussing the Scottish government's emphasis on the prevention of homelessness through housing. It then explains how public services, through a better understanding of the diverse causes of homelessness and routes into and out of homelessness, can lead a collaborative approach to creating the right conditions for people to flourish. This can be summed up by the ‘5Rs’: Rafters, Relationships, Resources, Restoration and Resilience in the prevention and mitigation of homelessness.
