- Interest to adopt the intersubjectival optical, regarded by some researchers as having a motivational evolutionary function for the individual and the species (Stern, 2004; Liotti, 2008). Encourage the family to participate in intersubjective experience, based on the sharing of feelings, intentions and meanings - through a structured game like Lausanne Trialogue Play (LTP) - can observe and assess the family alliances analyzing the interaction and coordination of the family. Starting from these considerations, the authors propose in this work the LTP application in clinical context, building an appropriate way for the context in which it is applied. This procedure has allowed us to analyze the distribution of family alliances in a clinical family sample and the possible connection of family functioning in the presence of symptoms in their children. The work hypothesis is that the LTPc can offer advantages in the evaluation process of the family and also in the therapeutic process.

AbstractThis article is the result of a theoretical analysis of a consultation family therapy interview conducted by the well-known family therapist, Dr. S. Minuchin. In the interview, Minuchin effectively challenges the family's structure and the individual members' presenting identities and social roles. Through his successful use of metaphor and techniques like confrontation, enactment and confirmation, he leads the family members out of their confinement toward interaction. Based on a phenomenologically oriented analysis, the authors propose a theoretical formulation to account for the interpersonal space created during the therapeutic process. The directing question they address is: if every member of the family is confined to and legitimates his own conception of himself and his circumstances, how can mutually influencing relations be evoked? A main hypothesis is posed: the therapist faced with conflictual relationships effects consecutive synthesis which allow movement toward desired and alternative behaviors and toward the integration of each member into the family. Initially, the presenting behaviors are of a repetitive and unidimensional nature. The therapist proceeds to unlock these states mainly by using metaphors which point towards actual behaviors and desired alternatives. He thus opens a second dimension by presenting means which make reflection possible and heightens differentiation of self. Subsequently, the family members are led toward the formation of a positive and shared identity confirmed and affectively supported by the therapist. This process results in a third dimension where family members manifest personal reflective awareness of different ways of relating to each other. Integration of the individuals into a new family matrix becomes possible.

Each person is part of a whole, a complex emotional unit (the family) and any change in a part of a family system influence the individual. The paper aim is to present an assessment of family functioning in patients diagnosed with Schizoaffective Disorder admitted for treatment in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Department Cluj-Napoca between 2009–2010, and to estimate how the model of family functioning influence the onset and the evolution of the disease. We followed the identification of existing borders in the family, coalitions, rules, roles, taboo subjects, resources, expressed emotions (EE) in families taken in the study, positive remarks to the patient and warmth.Expressed emotion (EE) refers to a construct encompassing several key aspects of close interpersonal relationships. It reflects critical, hostile or emotionally overinvolved attitudes on the part of a family member toward a relative with a disorder or impairment. The studied families were shown to be heterogeneous in terms of structure, rules and roles assigned to the patients within the family, which has hampered the expression of general conclusions. However, the study revealed that the positive family involvement correlate with improvement in social functioning, while criticism and hostility are factors for relapse.

The relationship between discrepancies in adolescents’ and their parents’ perceptions of family functioning and adolescent self-competence was examined in a sample of 74 sixth and seventh grade students and their parents. This relationship was examined by the gender of the adolescent and the gender of the parent. Results indicated that discrepancies in adolescent-mother and adolescent-father perceptions of family functioning were related to lower levels of adolescent self-competence for girls. For boys, discrepancies in adolescent-mother perceptions of family functioning were also related to lower levels of adolescent self-competence, however, discrepancies in adolescent-father perceptions of family functioning were related to higher levels of adolescent self-competence. Explanations for these gender differences are provided. For both girls and boys, discrepancies in perceptions of family functioning predicted lower levels of self-competence and lower levels of self-competence predicted discrepancies in perceptions of family functioning. Consistent with current models of human development, these results emphasise the importance of examining both directions of influence when relationships between characteristics of the individual and the family context are explored.

Values are like seeds that sprout, become saplings, grow into trees and spread their branches all around. To be able to think right, to feel the right kind of emotions and to act in the desirable manner are the prime phases of personality development. Building up of values system starts with the individual, moves on to the family and community, reorienting systems, structures and institutions, spreading throughout the land and ultimately embracing the planet as a whole. The culture of inclusivity is particularly relevant and important in the context of our society, nation and making education a right for all children.

The existing legislation determines the education as "an integral and focused process of teaching and upbringing, which represents a socially important value and shall be implemented so as to meet the interests of the individual, the family, the society and the state". However, even in this part, the meaning of the notion ‘socially significant benefit is not specified and allows for a wide range of interpretation [2]. Yet the more inconcrete is the answer to the question – "who and how should determine the interests of the individual, the family and even the state?" The national doctrine of education in the Russian Federation, which determined the goals of teaching and upbringing, the ways to attain them by means of the state policy regulating the field of education, the target achievements of the development of the educational system for the period up to 2025, approved by the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation of October 4, 2000 #751, was abrogated by the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation of March 29, 2014 #245 [7]. The new doctrine has not been developed so far. The RAE Academician A.B. Khutorsky believes that the absence of the national doctrine of education presents a threat to national security and a violation of the right of citizens to quality education. Accordingly, the teacher has to solve the problem of achieving the harmony of interests of the individual, the family, the society and the government on their own, which, however, judging by the officially published results, is the task that exceeds the abilities of the participants of the educational process.  The particular concern about the results of the patriotic upbringing served as a basis for the legislative initiative of the RF President V. V. Putin, who introduced the project of an amendment to the Law of RF "About Education of the Russian Federation" to the State Duma in 2020, regarding the quality of patriotic upbringing [3]. Patriotism, considered by the President of RF V. V. Putin as the only possible idea to unite the nation is "THE FEELING OF LOVE OF THE MOTHERLAND" and the readiness for every sacrifice and heroic deed for the sake of the interests of your Motherland. However, the practicing educators experience shortfalls in efficient methodologies of patriotic upbringing, which should let them bring up citizens, loving their Motherland more than themselves. The article is dedicated to solution to this problem based on the Value-sense paradigm of upbringing educational dynasty of the Kurbatovs [15].
