The main purpose of the study was to establish the moderating effect of government regulations on the relationship between internal control system and fraud prevention in baking sector. Structured questionnaire was used as tool for data collection. The study was based on all banks registered and operating in Kenya and the questionnaires were meant for branch managers, operations mangers and cash managers in head offices of all banks. One hundred and seventeen questionnaires were distributed and officers from 33 banks out 39 banks returned fully filled questionnaires. The questionnaires were analyzed using Structural equation Model (SEM). The findings indicated that the government regulations have significant moderating effect of control environment and risk assessment. However, there was insignificant moderating effect on control activities, communication and monitoring of activities. The study suggested that further studies and analysis should be undertaken to establish those legislations and regulations that should be enhanced, abolished and also establish need of new laws to enhance the functions of internal control system.

Abstract: This study aims to analyze the influence of Internal Control System (SPI) on the reliability of financial statements, with fixed assets administration as the intervening variable, in the Government of Bondowoso Regency. Data were analyzed by using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). Results shows that Internal Control System has a significant positive effect on the reliability of financial statements and fixed assets administration, fixed assets administration has a significant positive effect on the reliability of financial statements, and the fixed assets administration has a significant role in mediating the effect of Internal Control System on the reliability of financial statements. This research was motivated by a phenomenon in the district of Buleleng related to the number of LPD with conditions that are less healthy to jammed has increased. In addition, the number of LPD that are stuck in Buleleng regency is the highest in Bali. The purpose of this study is to determine the implications of the internal control system and credit policy on the credit settlement strategy, the settlement of bad loans is settled by the principle of “Pang Pada Payu”. The number of samples in this study were 60 LPD selected based on the stratified random sampling method. The data analysis technique used in this study was a structural equation model (seminal structural modeling) based on variance or component based sem with smartpls 3.0 analysis tools. Based on the results of testing the internal control system has a significant positive effect on the strategy of settlement bad loans “Pang Pade Payu” Bad Loans Strategy in LPD in Buleleng Regency. Both credit policies have a significant positive effect on the strategy of settlement bad loans “Pang Pade Payu” Bad Loans Strategy in Village Credit Institutions in Buleleng Regency.

This study aimed to analyze the correlation relationship between managerial competence and control systems to the financial performance of Gorontalo Provincial Government. A total of 648 employees of the finance department and samples taken as many as 247 respondents by formula Slovin. Data from the questionnaires were analyzed using Structural Equation Model using AMOS aid 18.The results found that the internal control system directly and not significant positive effect on financial performance. Means the internal control system has been implemented, but has not been able to achieve results that match the input, process, output, outcome, benefit and impact as an assessment of the organization's financial performance. Direct managerial competence dominant influence positive and significant impact on the financial performance of the organization. Means an employee-owned managerial competence are good and support the achievement of the work in the field of appropriate financial inputs, processes, outputs, outcomes, benefits and impact as well as the assessment of financial performance to the principles of management in the financial sector.

This study empirically aims to analyze the influence of government internal control system and internal monitoring on fraud prevention and its implications on the quality of local financial statements. The data in this study were 89 respondents of local government officials in the city of Bogor and Depok. The methodology using multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the study showed the internal control system positively affects fraud prevention, on the other hand the internal monitoring has no effect on fraud prevention. Fraud prevention has a positive effect on the quality of financial statements. While the government internal control system has a negative effect, the internal monitoring has a positive effect on the quality of local financial report. Government internal control system indirectly affects the quality of local financial statements through fraud prevention, whereas the internal control directly affects the quality of local financial statements through fraud prevention. The result also indicate the fraud prevention has a greater impact on the quality of local financial statements. Internal control system might be minimized fraud and possibility of error. It indicates that fraud prevention support the quality of local financial reporting.

This study aims at examining and analyzing the effect of the government internal control system and the role of internal auditors directly and indirectly on fraud prevention through the quality of internal auditors. This study uses primary data obtained from questionnaires distributed to examiners in 11 districts/municipalities within the province and representatives of the Jambi Province Financial and Development Supervisory Agency. Sampling was carried out on the entire population, namely auditors with the functional auditor position, amounting to 272. The samples processed were 225 people. SEM-PLS has been employed as the main tool of analysis.  The results showed that the government internal control system variable directly or indirectly affected fraud prevention. Meanwhile, the role of internal auditors does not directly affect fraud prevention. This variable affects fraud prevention through the mediating variable of the quality of the internal auditors as the quality of the internal auditors is said to be the full mediation.

Internal control system of a business entity is strong, then the possibility of the occurrence of errors and fraud can be minimized It means that the more successful prevention fraud the quality of financial reporting of the region is increasing.</em></p>

Accounting mistakes are a mistake in financial facts. In order for an agency or company does not occur accounting errors, agencies or companies need to consider the factors that affect accounting errors. The purpose of this study is to provide empirical evidence of the effect of Government Internal Control System and individual morality on accounting errors. This research was conducted at Local Government of Badung Regency. Population in this research is all financial officer at Badung Regency Government. The number of samples taken as many as 35 employees, with purposive sampling technique. The data were collected by questionnaire method. Data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis. Based on the results of the analysis, it is known that the Government Internal Control System and individual morality have a negative effect on accounting errors in Badung District Government.

PThis study aims to determine the effect of the internal control system on the performance of local government Case Study in Gorontalo Regency. This study uses quantitative research methods, and the data sources use primary data obtained from questionnaires distributed to respondents. Meanwhile, the data analysis used in this research is descriptive quantitative analysis using statistical t-test and coefficient of determination test (ajusted R-Square). The results showed that the internal control system had a positive effect on the performance of local governments with a determinant value of 48.7%. The result of this study contribute to the government to establish and implement a more effectives Internal Constrol Systems (ICS).

The corruption has emerged as the main topic of discussion in many countries and fraud prevention becomes important as well. The 2018 Annual Report of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) revealed that in general the KPK's enforcement action over the past 10 years showed a significant increase. This was also confirmed by President Jokowi that one of the big problems of Indonesia is related to Corruption This study is aimed to discover fraud prevention from the perspective of financial statements through the internal control system effectiveness and good corporate governance implementation.This study uses an explanatory research approach to analyze how one variable affects other variables through hypothesis testing. The data was collected using a questionnaire which distributed and filled by all regional authorities in Bandung Regency and then analyzed through path analysis using SPSS data processing tools. The results indicate that the effectiveness of internal control systems along with the good corporate governance implementation and the quality of financial statements have a positive effect on fraud prevention and partially the effectiveness variable of the internal control system has no significant effect, while the other two variables have a significant effect.

In a government organization requires their internal control systems due to their system of internal control activities undertaken by government agencies more effective and avoid fraud and keep the business property of parties who are not responsible. The object of this research is the Dinas Pendapatan Daerah Kabupaten Minahasa Utara. The purpose of this study to analyze the effectiveness of the internal control system on the performance of government agencies in the Dinas Pendapatan Daerah Kabupaten Minahasa Utara. The method used is descriptive qualitative. The results showed that the internal control system used Dinas Pendapatan Daerah Kabupaten Minahasa Utara effective and sufficient for compliance with the Internal Control System of the Government that has been set by the government based on Government Regulation No. 60 of 2008, so that the achievement of revenue receipts and the realization of the region in 2015 is said to be very effective.
