The basic principles and current state of topographic mapping of the territory of Ukraine are considered. Prior to the proclamation of Ukraine's independence, its territory was covered by topographic maps in the scale of 1:10 000 to 1: 1 000 000, created by the Main Department of Geodesy and Cartography under the USSR Council of Ministers and the Military Topographic Service of the USSR Armed Forces. The interaction of these departments in topographic mapping is highlighted. The topographic study of Ukrainian territory as of 1991 is analyzed in detail. Today the content of most topographic maps of scales from 1:10 000 to 1: 200 000 is characterized by "aging" of information and does not correspond to the current state of the area. The unsatisfactory state of topographic study of the territory led to the unclaimed topographic maps with much outdated information for consumers, and for the military it very difficult to perform combat tasks. The needs of current topographic information users require a significant improvement in topographic maps content. Since the mid-1990s, the creation of national geospatial data infrastructures has become crucial for providing spatial information to the state and society. The basic principles and general requirements for the creation and updating of state topographic maps are now defined by the "Procedure for national topographic and thematic mapping" (2013). The adoption of the Law of Ukraine "On the National Infrastructure of Geospatial Data", giving a powerful impetus to topographic mapping, poses a responsible task of organizational and regulatory and technical support of this process. The issue of obtaining topographic maps from the topographic database requires scientific and technical elaboration, development of appropriate normative and technical documents (guides, principles, instructions, symbols, etc.).

Since its inception the appearance of dietetics, the search was based on maintaining the balance of health and disease. Later, with the rise of the scientific revolution, as is nutrition science who focuses on the study of the different processes through which the body uses nutrients ingested. In the historical development of scientific knowledge both concepts, provided the key tools for the study of this discipline. All these important contributions, provided the fundamental basis for the development of nutrition as a scientific discipline XXI century, currently devoted to the study of many problems associated with food and modern lifestyles. Nutrition therefore rests on the discipline of scientific knowledge, is the fundamental basis for the understanding of the causes of the problems and possible solutions to search for them.RESUMENLa nutrición y dietética, a lo largo de la historia, han sido vistas desde dos vertientes fundamentales: como un medio para restablecer la salud y como un instrumento para prevenir la enfermedad.

Professionology is a scientific discipline that is at the stage of formation. The prerequisites for the actualisation of occupational research are related to the trends of modern post-industrial society. The design of the methodological apparatus of professionology, the crystallisation of the internal structure of the scientific discipline, requires an intensive process of exchanging ideas, a close interaction of scientists and practitioners. That was the subject of the networking “Professionology — projection into the future”. The purpose of the event: analysis of the current state and prospects for the development of professionology as a field of scientific knowledge. During the discussion on the methodological foundations of professionology, the participants presented their views on the subject and structure of this discipline, discussed the inefficiency of traditional methods of professionography and the search for new approaches. The analysis of modern trends in the development of the world of professions allowed us to identify promising areas of professional research. One of them: scientifically-based design of new professions. Another: study of the transformation of the psychological mechanisms of professional and personal formation in the conditions of the predicted change in the employment structure. One more is experimental testing of technological capabilities to eliminate the factors of professional unfitness, the development of professionally important qualities, and optimisation of a person’s functional states in the work process. Furthermore, occupational technologies for designing and supporting a career in modern conditions: career guidance based on a modular approach, professional tests were identified.
