The speed of communication on any route, directly and indirectly through the function of redistribution of traffic volumes, causes an increase in the number of movements, traffic volumes, transport work, in the network of the appropriate type, at the same time the values of the medium system coefficient of passenger capacity use and the number of vehicles may vary both in the direction of the increase and vice versa. The results of the calculations of the basic parameters of the functioning of intercity passenger route systems for various values of the speed of communication on intercity railway routes established the appropriate mathematical model for determining the parameters of this passenger communication. The conducted analysis of simulation methods has determined the possibility of using for the determination of quantitative parameters for changing the basic indicators of the operation of the system of intercity passenger route methods of mathematical and computer simulation. The results of the work determined the basic indicators of the functioning of the system of intercity passenger route transportation. These indicators include: the number of movements in the network; volume of transportation; transfer ratio; transport work; average distance of the route; average distance of the network ride; medium coefficient of passenger capacity use; required number of buses / cars. According to the analysis of the methods and models of calculations of the basic indicators of the functioning of the system of intercity passenger traffic, it was assumed that the change in the quantitative characteristics of the parameters entering into the system or the quantitative characteristics of its elements may lead to a change in the quantitative indicators of the functioning of the system itself or its individual elements. Keywords: transport system, intercity passenger transport route, basic parameters of transportation, efficien-cy, model.

During the investigation of soil structure of Mykoliv-Horodok Opillia we used the methods of detection (natural-cartometric, relief sculpture, quality-genetic) and interpretation (statistical cartometric, functional and analytical) of the soil structure. To characterize elementary soil areas of the key area the natural-cartometric method was used, it makes it possible to determine the parameters of the soil structure and obtain quantitative indicators for the key elementary soil areas (ESA) parameters, which are elementary soil areas composition and area ratio, complexity, fractionality, breakdown, heterogeneity and contrast range. The article presents results of a study of qualitative and quantitative characteristics of elementary soil areas of the Mykolaiv-Horodok Opillia. The degree of variability of ESA areas was identified and analysed with coefficient of the differentiation of the soil outlines and methods of variation statistics. Form, degree of tortuosity and elongation of area limits using the coefficient of the dismemberment were studied. The character of outlines of elementary soil areas within the area of research was investigated. The basic features of ESA borders depending on various environmental factors are identified. Certain laws of changing of the basic parameters of elementary soil areas, which form the soil structure of Mykolaiv-Horodok Opillia were traced. Key words: elementary soil area, structure of the soil cover, coefficient of variability of soil outlines, coefficient of the differentiation of the soil outlines, coefficient of the dismemberment of the soil boundaries.

It is proved that when changing the parameters of the distribution of passenger traffic between automobile and railway routenet works, the quantitative mean values ofthe average-length of the route and mediumnet work range of the ride change by less than 0,01%, and the transfer ratioremainsun changed. It is determined that changing the speed of the ride is such a factor that does not affect the quantitative values of the number of movements in the network, the transfer ratio, the average distance of the trip. At the same time, the existence of a polynomial dependence of the average coefficient of passenger capacityuse and the number of buses on the speed of route/network rides has been proved. The functions of redistribution of volumes of transportation in relation to any route of different types of transport, with a constant total number of movements, causes an increase in the number of transported passengers, the transport operation of the route network, the average coefficient of passenger capacity, the number of vehicles. The paper examined issues of studying the basis of intercity passenger transport routes. It is established that the system of intercity passenger route transportation is not isolated. This causes the influence of the environment on the quantitative indicators of the parameters of the functioning of these systems, which is due to the possibility of quantitative changes in the parameters entering the system. It was determined that the current state of scientific approaches does not fully take into account the interrelation of elements of the intercity passenger route system when calculating the basic parameters of the functioning of this system. It is proved that the issues of further development of scientific approaches regarding the features of accounting for the mutual influence of the quantitative characteristics of the elements of the system of intercity passenger route traffic is relevant and subject to study. Keywords: transport system, intercity passenger transport route, basic parameters of transportation, efficiency, model.

The seasonal changes in the skin thickness and structure of the horses’ coat, as signs of adaptation to environmental factors, were studied. The experiment was carried out with the livestock kept in a herd using winter-grazing technology without additional feedings in the climatic conditions of the Trans-Baikal Territory. The objects of the research were adult mares of Zabaikalsky breed of horses of the same age, class and fatness. The studies were carried out in the middle of each season (May, July, October, February). The length of the coat was measured with a caliper, the coat itself with the determination of the ratio of hair (fl uffy hair, heterotype hair and coarse hair) and the thickness of the skin fold were measured in accordance with the approved methodological recommendations. The minimum skin thickness in winter was detected in mares on the back and shoulder blade – 4.3 and 4.4 mm, the maximum – on the side and thigh – 4.5 4.6 mm. When compared with the summer period, the increase on the side was 0.8 mm, whereas on the back, shoulder blade and thigh – 0.4 mm (p ≤ 0,001). In spring, thickening of the skin was noted within 0.1-0.3 mm in the same topographic areas, compared to autumn. The quantitative indicators of the coat changed depending on the season of the year. In winter, the coat contained more fl uffy hair (23.10%), and less coarse hair (68.24%), in summer there was a lower content of fl uffy hair (4.33%), but more coarse hair (94.01%.) Sharp seasonal changes were noted with regard to the length of the hair. The longest hair was found in winter and spring – 4.96 and 4.26 cm, whereas the shortest – in summer and autumn – 0.94 and 1.90 cm, respectively.

For mowing grass during harvesting of hay or haylage, support-free mowers with rotary movement of knives are used mainly, the productivity of which is much greater than segment-finger mowers. Free-cutting cutting apparatuses with rotational movement of knives happen with their rotation around the vertical (rotary) and horizontal (rotary) axes. Mowers that are equipped with rotary cutting devices significantly grind grass, so they are used in mower-grinders and lawn mowers. The purpose of the work is to substantiate the methodology for calculating the structural and kinematic parameters of rotary cutting devices, corresponding to the conditions of their use. The main parameters characterizing the operation of rotary cutting devices are: area, mows than in one revolution of the disk; knife working length; overlapping knives of adjacent rotors; cutting speed. In determining the basic parameters of the rotary cutting apparatus of the mower, the following assumptions were made. It was believed that the angular speed of the rotor and the translational speed of the mower are unchanged, and the movement of the unit is straightforward. In addition, the cutting apparatus performs mowing in a plane parallel to the soil surface, that is, in a plane perpendicular to most plant stems. It is shown that the absolute speed of any point of the knife varies from the maximum value equal to the sum of the peripheral speed of this point and the aggregation speed of the mower, to the minimum - the difference of the above speeds. It was found that the working length of the cutting edge of the knife is directly proportional to the speed of aggregation of the mower and inversely proportional to the angular velocity of the rotor and the number of knives mounted on it. The overlap of the path of the knives of adjacent rotors depends on the radius of the rotor; the number of knives mounted on it and the kinematic mode of operation of the cutting apparatus. Moreover, an increase in the radius of the rotor requires an increase in overlap, and an increase in the kinematic mode and the number of knives leads to a decrease in the overlap between the paths of the knives. The resulting dependence, which allows you to determine the area, mows than in one revolution of the rotor.

The article dealt with the assessment of the quality of hydraulic oil and determination of the mode of wear of the friction surfaces of Baljer & Zembrod manipulating lines through the information traces in the oils by applying tribotechnical diagnostics. We presented the assessment of the level of degradation of the oils. In addition, we presented the mode of wear of the friction surfaces washed in oil through evaluation of the qualitative and quantitative characteristics of the particles found in the oil. In detail, we focused on the application of suitable multivariate statistical methods on the data matrix. The article also presents predictive models that can sort oils into groups based on the assessment of quality of the oil and the state of the friction couples. The models can be used in research and in solving practical tasks in tribotechnical diagnostics of hydraulic fluids in woodworking equipment. Our results showed that the manipulation lines were greatly thermically stressed due to inadequate oil and machine maintenance. By correlative integration of all methods used, we could determine the real mode of the wear of the tribologic nodes of the machine. The experiment enabled the early detection of an undesirable process in the tribological node and implementation of corrective measures before the machine would break down.

High quality of the soldering process can be achieved with the right choice of the necessary soldering materials. Since wetting determines the further nature of the connection between the solder and the main soldering material, the contact angle  measurement  is the basis for quality control of soldering materials, provided that the basic requirements of the technological process. The determination of the contact angle value is carried out by the indirect method of the sessile drop, by measuring the basic parameters of the drop using infrared transducer. A smaller value of the contact angle corresponds to a better interaction of materials, and hence a better electrical contact
