Leek is one type of leaf vegetable that is commonly used for cooking vegetables or seasonings. Currently, it founded some problem in leek cultivation, including the production is low because the fertilization is not appropriate. The type and dosage of fertilizer can contribute to increasing production. This research aims to determine the dosage of potassium, and fish fertilizer is right for increased leek production. The research was conducted from January - March 2015 in the Berastagi experimental farm, with altitude ± 1340 meters above sea level; the soil type was andisol. Experiments using a randomized block design (RBD) factorial with three replications. The first factor is the dosage of potassium fertilizer K0 (0 kg/ha), K1 (100 kg/ha), K2 (200 kg/ha), and K3 (300 kg/ha). The second factor is dosage fish fertilizer I0 (0 kg/ha), I1 (500 kg/ha), I2 (1000 kg/ha), and I3 (1500 kg/ha). The leek variety was used is local variety. The results showed that there is an interaction between the potash and fish fertilizers on leek plant height. Application potash fertilizer (K2O) dosage of 200 kg/ha and fish fertilizer dosage of 1000 kg/ha can increase the leek plant height 56,98 cm. Application potash fertilizer (K2O) dosage of 200 kg/ha can increase the stem diameter, length of stems, length of leaves, and fresh weight per plant. Application fish fertilizer dosage of 1000 kg/ha can increase the stem diameter, leaves length, fresh and dry weight per plant

This research aims to find out the interaction effect of gibberellin and potassium fertilizer doses, to examine the effect potassium fertilizer doses on various gibberellin concentrations, gibberellin concentrations on various potassium fertilizer doses, and to find the main effect of gibberellin and potassium fertilizer which is better for growth and the production of shallot plant. The research was conducted at the UPT of the Faculty of Agriculture, Riau University, Pekanbaru, starting from December 2018 to February 2019. The method was experimentally arranged using the completely randomized block design. The main plot was the gibberellin concentrations (0, 100, 200 and 300) ppm. The sub plot was the dose of potassium fertilizer (100 and 200) kg of KCl ha-1. The parameter observed were plant height, total of leaves, diameter of bulbs, total bulbs per clump, fresh weight of bulbs per clump/plot, and dry weight of bulbs. The data were analyzed statistically with anova and Duncan test continued level of 5%. There was interaction effect of gibberellin and potassium fertilizer increased the fresh weight of bulbs. The treatment 100 kg of KCl ha-1 and 200 ppm of gibberellin increased the fresh weight and dry weight of bulbs. The treatment 200 kg of KCl ha-1 and 200 ppm of gibberellin was better to increase the total of leaves and diameter of bulbs. The treatment of gibberellin 200 ppm was better to increase the fresh weight and dry weight of bulbs. The treatment of 200 of KCl ha-1 increased the plant height and total of leaves.

Bawang merah merupakan salah satu komoditas hortikultura strategis yang penyebarannya hampir di seluruh wilayah Indonesia. Permasalahan pengembangan komoditas ini adalah masih rendahnya produktivitas sebagai akibat adaptasi dan kecukupan asupan hara tanaman. Penelitian yang bertujuan untuk mendapatkan jenis pupuk NPK yang efektif dan efisien telah dilakukan di desa Langensari Kecamatan Lembang Kabupaten Bandung Barat dari Maret sampai Mei 2014 menggunakan Rancangan Acak kelompok (RAK) dengan 6 perlakuan dan 3 kali ulangan. Pupuk NPK yang digunakan adalah A= NPK 18+9+10+Te, B=NPK 15+15+sulfat 10, C=NPK 12+11+18z+(S) z +3 Mg+3,8S+Te, D= NPK 15+9+20(S)+2 MgO+3,8 S+Te, E= NPK 25+7+7 dan F=kontrol. Parameter yang diamati meliputi: tinggi tanaman, jumlah umbi, jumlah daun, panjang umbi (cm), diameter umbi (cm), bobot basah (g) dan bobot kering brangkasan (g). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa NPK 12+11+18z+(S)z+3 Mg+3,8S+Te menghasilkan bobot umbi terbaik. The shallot is one of the strategic and valuable horticultural commodities which is spreaded almost all over Indonesia area. Commodity development constrain by the low productivity as a result of adaptation and inadequate intake of plant nutrients. The research purposed  to get the kind of NPK fertilizers that was efective and efficient on shallot production had been done in the Langensari village Langensari Lembang district, West Bandung regency from March till May 2014, using Randomized Block Design (RBD) with 6 treatments and 3 repplications. NPK fertilizer used were: A = NPK 18+9+10+Te, B = NPK 15+15+sulfate 10, C = NPK 12+11+18z+(S) z + 3 Mg+3,8S+Te, D = NPK 15+9+20(S)+2MgO+3,8 S+Te, E = NPK 25+7+7 and F = control. The observed parameters were plant height (cm), number of tubers, leaf number, tuber length, tuber diameter, fresh weight and dry weight tuber. The results showed that NPK 12+11+18z+ (S)z+3 Mg+3,8S+Te gave the best growth and production.

This study aimed to evaluate the effect of paclobutrazol and KOH application through leaf togrowth and production of cassava.  This study was conducted from March 2017 to October 2018 in an Integrated Field Universityof Lampung. The treatmens was arranged factorially (4 x 4) in a complete randomized block design with 4 replications be avowed as group.  The main factor were paclobutrazol consist of P1 = 0 ppm (control, no treatment), P2 = 400 ppm, P3 = 500 ppm and P4 = 600 ppm.  The second factor were KOH consist of K1 = 0% (control, no treatment), K2 =0,5%, K3 = 1% and K4 = 1,5 given a week after paclobutrazol’s application.  This study used cassava cutting varieties of kasesart.  Observation variables were plant height, number of books, number of fresh leaves, fresh weight of leaves, dry weight of leaves, fresh weight of stem, dry weight of stem, fresh weight of tubers, dry weight of tubers.  Data of each treatments were calculated its mean value and tested homogeneity.  Homogeneous data were analyzed variance and followed by the smallest real difference testat level 5%.The study’s result showed that paclobutrazol application had inhibited effect the vegetative growth of plant height, number of nodes, fresh and dry weight of stem cassava plants.  Application of KOH had a significant effect only on number of fresh leave at 13 week after planted.  The interaction of paclobutrazol and KOH treatment had a significant effect on leaf dry weight.

In this study, two accessions of Bambara groundnut were exposed to fast neutrons Americium-Beryllium (AmBe) source with flux of 1.5 ×104 ncm-2 s-1for different hours, and planted in a completely randomized block design (RCBD) with three replications to raise M1 generation. The data recorded were percentage germination, plant height, number of leaves, leaf length, leaf width, days to 50% flowering, number of pods per plant, fresh weight of plants, dry weight of plants, dry weight of pods, weight of seeds and100 seeds weight. There was variation in plant height, number of leaves, leaf length, leaf width, Days to 50% flowering, fresh weight of plants, dry weight of plants, dry weight of pods, weight of seeds and100 seeds weight for Black accession. In the Cream accession, days to 50% flowering, number of pods per plant, fresh weight of plants, dry weight of plants, dry weight of pods, weight of seeds and100 seeds weight were significantly different. Treatment at 16 hours performed best for plant height, leaf length, number of leaves, weight of seed per plant and 100 seed weight in Black accession while Cream performed best at 8 hours exposure time. Fast neutron was observed to improve the performance of Bambara groundnut, thus can be used in breeding programme for Bambara groundnut.

Research aims to test the effectiveness of various types of manure combined with various doses of application for the growth and result of shallot varieties of Palu Valley. This research was designed using factorial randomized block design. The first factor was manure with three types of treatment, namely chicken manure (P1), got manure (P2), cow manure (P3). The second factor was the dose of manure consisting of three types of treatment, namely 10 t ha­­-1 (3,6 kg plot-1) (D1), 20 t ha­­-1 (7,2 kg plot-1) (D2), 30 t ha­­-1 (10,8 kg plot-1) (D3). The results show that the combination of various types of treatment and doses of chicken manure interacts on plat height parameters aged 35 days after planting. The treatment of chicken manure with a dose of 30 t ha-1 gives better results. The single treatment of chicken manure gave better results for the plant height, weight of leaves, root dry weight, leaf dry weight , number of tubers per clump. Single treatment of manure dosage of 30 t ha-1 gave better results on plant height, leaf area , leaf fres weight, leaf dry weight tuber fresh weight per hectare.

This study aimed to determine the effect of different biostimulant applications (solid and liquid) on the growth and yield of mustard plants. This study used a single factor Randomized Block Design (RBD), consisting of solid or liquid biostimulant treatment, each has twelve levels, i.e. K0 = without biostimulant, K1 = NPK 1 g per plant, solid and liquid biostimulant each consisting of 10 treatments = B1, B2, B3, B4, B5, B6, B7, B8, B9, B10. Solid biostimulant was given at 2.5 g per plant and liquid biostimulant at 10 ml per plant. The results showed that liquid biostimulant gave a significant effect on plant height, crop fresh weight, and crop dry weight; whereas solid biostimulant gave a very significant effect on entire weight, i.e. fresh weight of mustard plant, fresh root weight, and crop dry weight. The best treatment for liquid biostimulant was B1 treatment; whereas for the solid biostimulant was B7 treatment. Keywords: biostimulant, mustard, growth, yield   ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh aplikasi biostimulan yang berbeda (biostimulan padat dan cair) terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman sawi. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan acak kelompok faktor tunggal yang terdiri dari perlakuan Biostimulan (padat dan cair) yang masing-masing perlakuan terdapat dua belas taraf (P): K0 = tanpa biostimulan, K1 = NPK 1 g/tan, Biostimulan padat dan cair masing-masing terdiri dari 10 perlakuan = B1, B2, B3, B4, B5, B6, B7, B8, B9, B10. Biostimulan padat 2.5 g/tan dan biostimulan cair 10 ml/tan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa biostimulan cair memberikan pengaruh yang nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman sawi, berat segar tanaman, dan berat kering tanaman, sedangkan biostimulan padat memberikan pengaruh yang sangat nyata terhadap semua bobot berat tanaman sawi yaitu berat segar tanaman, berat segar akar, dan berat kering tanaman. Perlakuan terbaik untuk biostimulan cair adalah perlakuan B1, sedangkan untuk biostimulan padat perlakuan yang terbaik adalah perlakuan B7. Kata kunci: biostimulan, sawi, pertumbuhan, produksi

The research was conducted in the village of Sidera, Subdistrict of Sigi Biromaru, District of Sigi, in May to June 2016. The research aims to find out the effect of various rates of cow manure on growth and yield of mustard.this research was arranged  in a randomized block design (RBD) which consist of 5 rates ofcow manure are: 10 t ha-1, 15 t ha-1, 20 t ha-1, 25 tha-1 and 30 t ha-1 , each treatment was repeated three times to obtain 15 units experiment. The results of this research showed that the application of cow manure significantly affected on growth and yield of mustard plants (plant height, number of leaves, fresh weight and dry weight of plant) and best rate of manure to mustard (Brassica juncea L.) can be achieved at the dose of 25 t ha-1.

Capsaicin and dihydrocapsaicin are responsible for 90% of the pungency of the fruit; the rest of the capsaicinoids participate to a lesser extent in the itching, but contribute strongly to the diversity of spicy flavors in the different species of Capsicum. In the present project the application of 7 treatment T1 = Chemical, T2 = Chemical + Bioferment, T3 = Chemical + Leached, T4 = Bioferment, T5 = Leached, T6 = Bioferment + Leached, T7 = Chemical + Leached + Bioferment, in greenhouse was evaluated and in open sky, a randomized block design with three repetitions was established. The variables evaluated were plant height, temperature, relative humidity, production weight, fresh weight, root depth, dry weight and pH. The data generated in this research indicate that the treatment that generated the most amount of capsaicinoids was the chemical treatment in the greenhouse with 37.7 ml of capsaicinoids and in the open sky with 36.96 ml.

This study aims to determine the effect of NPK Mutiara fertilizer dose on the growth and yield of green beans and determine the optimum dosage of NPK Mutiara fertilizer that can deliver growth and yield optimal green beans. The design used in this study is a randomized block design with treatments used were N0 (without fertilizer NPK NPK 0 kg ha-1 or 0 g plot-1), N1 (NPK fertilizer 125 kg ha-1 or 25 g plot-1), N2 (NPK fertilizer 250 kg ha-1 or 50 g plot-1), N3 (NPK fertilizer 375 kg ha-1 or 75 g), N4 (NPK 500 kg ha-1 or 100 g plot-1). Variable observation in this study was plant height, number of leaves, leaf area, number of pods tan-1 fresh weight stover tan-1, the dry weight of stover tan-1, the dry weight of stover ha-1 dry weight of seed tan-1, heavy ha-1 dry beans, dry weight of 100 seeds. The results showed that treatment of NPK fertilizer dose of 500 kg ha-1 very significant effect on plant height of 27.75 cm, leaf number 8 strands, leaf area 357.78 cm2, Total pods 19.65, fresh weight stover tan-1 96, 25 g, dry weight of stover tan-1 76.00 g, stover dry weight ha-1 19.00 tons, dry weight of seed tan-1 5.36-gram dry weight seed ha-1 1.34 tonnes, the weight of 100 seeds 2.62 gr.

ABSTRACT   The research  aims to assess the response to the growth and production of onion against of liquid organic fertilizer from cow biourie in some concentrations and to get the best concentration for the growth and production of red onion. The research was conducted atfield experimental in Pandu, North Minahasa regency from May to July 2014. The experiment was designed using a randomized block design. The treatment was concentration of cow biourine namely 0% (B1) 10%, (B2) 20%, (B3) 30%, (B4) 40% and (B5) 50%. Each treatment was replicated three times. Characters observed were plant height, number of leaves, tuber diameter, number of tuber, fresh weight of tuber with leaves and dry weight of tuber. Data was analyzed using analysis of variance. The result showed that the biourine concentration had significant effect on plant height, number of leaves, tuber diameter, number of tuber, fresh weight of tuber with leaves and dry weight of tuber. Treatment of B1, B2, B3 and B4 concentration were not significant difference at plant height. However, those four treatments were significantly different compared to B0 and B5. The fives treatment differed with the control on characters of number of leaves, number of tuber andfresh weight of tuber with leaves. On character of tuber dry weight, B2 treatment was significant difference compared to control whereas the other treatments were not significantly differed. On character of tuber diameter, three treatments were significant difference compared to the control namely B2, B4 and B5.
