Rubella measles is a disease that can infect to the pregnant mothers, toddlers, children, and adults. The purpose of this study is applicate the certainty factor method to the expert system application based on website to diagnose the rubella measles disease. The utilization of information technology into the expert system application can help society to detect the rubella measles disease early. Certainty factor is one method that can be used to handle a problem that is uncertain the answer. In this study, the certainty factor method has been applied on expert system application to diagnose rubella measles based on symptoms of the disease felt by patients. The result of this study is an expert system based on the website can provide information and diagnose symptoms of rubella measles following the questions proposed by the system and symptoms of the disease felt by the patient.

Identification of the development of special interests and talents needs to be done in order to find out the potential of students. This knowledge is needed by the teacher when providing counseling guidance to students in order to know the types of special interests and talents of students. This study aims to identify the development of special interests and talents in students based on the characteristics of special interests and talents appropriately. In this study using the Certainty Factor method where this expert system can assist experts in identifying the development of special interests and talents based on the characteristics of special interests and talents in students. Followed by calculating the level of accuracy with the results of the counseling guidance teacher analysis. The results of the testing of the Certainty Factor method were successfully applied by comparing the data with the system that had been designed so that a good level of accuracy was obtained from the results of the system calculations with expert decisions of 80% of the 5 test data. This expert system application can be used as an alternative in identifying the development of special interests and talents in students.

In treating insomnia patients, acupuncturists who are not always in their clinics trust their patients to their assistants but because of their assistants limited knowledge, their assistants can not determine the right acupoints. Therefore, an application that able to store their knowledge about insomnia disease treatment is needed so that their assistants can handle the patients like they do.In this research, an expert system application using certainty factor method to determine the acupoint in dealing with insomnia disease was built. This research used certainty factor to accommodate uncertainty about symptoms and rules. The mechanism of certainty factor on symptoms used a measure of increased belief (MB) and a measure of increased disbelief (MD).The built expert system resulted acupoints based on symptoms experienced by insomnia patients. Accuracy value produced by the system that used certainty factor for determining acupoint dealing with insomnia is 0.933. It showed that the acupoint produced by the system is 93.3% relevant according acupuncturist expertise in treating insomnia patients.

Chili plants have a lot of pest and disease attacks. Pest and disease attacks potentially reduce the production of chilli and even cause crop failure. In addition, the limited number of extension workers and the lack of knowledge of practitioners / chili farmers inhibits efforts to control pests and diseases of chili plants. Therefore, the authors propose an expert system to diagnose pests and diseases in large chili plants using the Certainty Factor method. The Certainty Factor method is used to perform calculations by providing an expert's level of confidence. Expert systems relate symptoms and diseases as well as pest and disease control solutions of large chili plants. The data were obtained based on interviews with experts at the Organization for Industrial, Spiritual and Cultural Advancement (OISCA) Training Center Karanganyar. The data obtained was analyzed and expert system design application was made using UML diagram. The design is continued with the implementation of expert system application into PHP programming and MySQL database. The test results show that the system can diagnose pests and diseases of large chili plants like an expert. Keyword: certainty factor, expert system, pest and disease, large chili plant (Capsicum Annuum Longum).

Along with the development of information technology, computers today have developed rapidly so that they require a higher technology world. Nowadays computers can be made in the category of human needs, Because they can help or human Facilitate work in various fields. The use of computer laboratories at Sei Bamban YAPIM Private Vocational School is very dense, so the level of computer damage is greater, both in terms of hardware and software. Here the author will discuss Expert Systems to Diagnose Damage to Personal Computers, the Certainty Methods Method is one of the Expert System Methods to Be Able to diagnose damage to a Personal Computer. In this case the Certainty Factor method is used to diagnose damage to the Personal Computer through existing symptoms. The damage is taken from symptoms that may occur and then given a decision and provide Appropriate solutions to Overcome damage to the Personal Computer. The symptoms of damage to the Personal Computer will then be changed in the form of applications. To create an application the author uses Microsoft Visual Studio 2010. This thesis will explain the damage report and solutions for Personal Computer.

Abstrak - Wajah adalah bagian tubuh terpenting yang harus selalu dijaga dan dirawat. Sehingga banyak cara merawat wajah yang dilakukan untuk mendapatkan wajah putih, bersih, dan terbebas dari jerawat. Pengetahuan analisa kulit wajah sangat diperlukan untuk menentukan jenis kulit serta produk perawatan yang sesuai dengan jenis kulit. Sistem pakar merupakan sistem yang mengadopsi pengetahuan dari seorang pakar dan dapat berperan layaknya seorang pakar dalam menangani proses konsultasi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu merancang sebuah sistem pakar yang dapat menentukan jenis kulit wajah berbasis android dengan menerapkan metode certainty factor dalam proses penghitungan derajat tingkat keyakinan. Dengan aplikasi sistem pakar berbasis android ini konsultan dapat melakukan pemeriksaan dengan mudah, dan pendiagnosaan sekaligus solusi dapat terselesaikan secara cepat dan tepat berdasarkan data yang diinputkan.Katakunci: Android, Certainty Factor, Perancangan Sistem PakarAbstract - Face is the most important body part that should always be kept and cared for. So many ways of taking care of the face are done to get the face of white, clean, and free of acne. The knowledge of facial skin analysis is necessary to determine the skin type as well as care products that suit the skin type. The expert system is a system that adopts the knowledge of an expert and can play like an expert in handling the consultation process. The purpose of this research is to design an expert system that can determine the type of Android-based facial skin by applying the certainty factor method in the process of counting degrees of confidence. Measles Roseola usually attacks infants with transmission from a sprinkling of sufferers' saliva. Roseola must be treated quickly because it can cause liver and brain inflammation. Roseola's disease for people whose economy is low is not given much attention because it is often diagnosed in severe or acute illness. This is because the red rash in infants is a common measles. Early diagnosis of Roseola's disease is a good way to avoid adverse consequences for the baby's health. The Roseola disease expert system is able to help low-income people to self-diagnose the disease. Roseola's disease expert system is applied knowledge gained from experts, namely specialist dermatologists in children. Processing of symptoms based on facts with the value and calculation of the Certainty Factor method. Certainty Factor determines good results by combining expert values and user values.

Expert system is one of the AI Development fields. AI (Artificial Intelligence) is part of a computer science which used the computer to imitate the human thoughts and behavior. The usage of a method in Expert System is very important. Thus, the most compatible method to use is the Certainty Factor method. This method is suitable to be used on Expert System to measure things and diagnosed it, will it be very sure or unsure. For example, Expert System to diagnose disease on strawberry plants. This software allows the user to diagnose the disease on strawberry plants before taking a further action. This software is using PHP programming language and store the data using MySQL system database. When the user consulting to the software, the software will show the symptoms of the disease and the user can choose the level of certainty from the chosen disease symptom. The final result from the software is a form which includes the guide of how to take the measurement of the disease based on the chosen symptoms.
