The article presents a report on the V All-Russian scientific and practical conference with international participation commemorating M.Yu. Kondratyev “Social psychology: issues of theory and practice” held on may 12—13, 2020 at the Moscow State University of Psychology & Education. The main events of the scientific forum are outlined, its main directions and results are described. The expediency of such measures for the intensification of socio-psychological research and practical application of their results for the purpose of the most complete, justified construction of psychological science, practice and education is confirmed.

October 8-9, 2020 in the city of Saransk within the framework of the Finno-Ugric scientific and public forum “We are all Russia!” the most significant issues related to the preservation of the ethnic and civic identity of the Finno-Ugric peoples were discussed. The main organizers of the forum were the Federal Agency for Nationalities of the Russian Federation, the All-Russian Public Movement “Association of the Finno-Ugric Peoples of the Russian Federation”, Ogarev Mordovia State University. The key events of the forum were the International Scientific Conference “Finno-Ugric Peoples in the Context of Formation of the All-Russian Civic Identity and the Changing Environment”, the All-Russian Scientific Conference “Finno-Ugric Peoples in the Socio-Economic and Cultural Space of Russia”, the meeting of the Bureau of the Association of Finno-Ugric Peoples of the Russian Federation. The events were held dew to the financial support of the Russian Foundation for Basic Research and “The History of the Motherland” Fund. The actualization of the topic of the forum is due to the need to conduct and present the results of interdisciplinary research in the field of complex Finno-Ugric studies as an important area of modern science. It is focused on promoting the further development of scientific, cultural, linguistic and other cooperation of kindred Finno-Ugric peoples. Representatives of the scientific world, public organizations, federal and regional authorities, experts who successfully study the development of the multinational people of the Russian Federation and the Finno-Ugric peoples of Russia and foreign countries, the most important components of ethnic culture, largely determining and reflecting its features, preservation of the identity of the multinational people. The holding of the forum strengthened the integration of scientific developments, a productive dialogue was formed between specialists and scientists not only in the social and humanitarian field, but also in natural science, information and other fields of scientific knowledge, increasing the effectiveness of their research and applied developments in the study of Finno-Ugric issues.

This article provides an overview of the speeches given by the participants of the All-Russian Scientific Practical Conference including international members “2020 Russian Constitutional Reform: political and legal importance” held remotely on December 4, 2020 by the Department of Constitutional and Municipal Law of Kuban State University jointly with the Interregional Association of Constitutionalists of Russia in Krasnodar Krai. The author describes the key provisions of the reports of the Russian and foreign participants, as well as messages received by the organizational committee of the conference. The general conclusions on the conference results are formulated. In the course of discussions were outlined the primary theoretical problems and practical aspects of constitutional legal development, as well as the trends of further improvement of the legislation. Within the framework of the discussion of 2020 constitutional reform, the participants placed emphasis on the peculiarities of modern Russian constitutionalism, its historical and theoretical aspects; questions of social and civil activism, expansion of the constitutional principles of civil society; renewal and transformation of the entire system of legal regulation; enhancement of the social component in the Constitution; consolidation of the unity of public authority; changes in the judicial system, broadening of competence of the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation; networking of public legal relations; protection of human rights and fundamental freedoms, guarantees of rights and support of particular categories of Russians (minors, compatriots residing outside of Russia, etc.); correlation between the norms of international and national law. A number of participants gave attention to voting on the amendments to the Constitution of the Russian Federation.

In the review materials of the All-Russian scientific and practical conference in the form of the “Round Table” devoted to the discussion of the draft Concept of the legal policy of a constituent entity of the Russian Federation (on the example of the Tambov region), theses of the reports of the participants of the event are presented. They reveal the most diverse aspects of the conceptual design and implementation of legal policy in the constituent entities of the Russian Federation. The importance of such a doctrinal and applied document as the Concept of legal policy of a constituent entity of the Russian Federation is emphasized, which can become a program of real actions of the regional authorities and civil society of the constituent entity of the Federation to ensure the state-legal development of the region, starting from the system of lawmaking and continuing with all other elements of the legal system of the constituent entity of the Russian Federation (law enforcement, powerless law enforcement, legal culture, legal consciousness, legal training and education, digitalization of law, etc.). The substantiation of the necessity of combining doctrinal and practical aspects in the course of preparation and improvement of the content of the Concept of legal policy of a constituent entity of the Russian Federation (on the example of the Tambov region) is carried out.

We introduce the review of the all-Russian scientific conference “25 years of the Constitution of the Russian Federation: Traditions and Innovations of State and Legal Development”, which took place on October 19–20, 2018 and organized by the Tambov State University named after G.R. Derzhavin in the framework of the grant project № 18-411-681005 (р_г), supported by the Russian Foundation for Basic Research and the administration of the Tambov Region. Also noted are other co-organizers of the conference, which were the Tambov regional branch of the all-Russian public organization “Association of Lawyers of Russia”, Academy of Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia, Tambov regional notary chamber, the company “Plus Guarantee”. The conference was aimed at discussing and understanding the current state of the constitutional foundations of Russian statehood, its stability, the role and importance of the basic law of the country in the prism of its existence, implementation and application for a quarter century. The participants of the conference were scientists in the field of general theory of state and law, constitutional law, as well as other areas of law, representatives of authorities, public associations, legal corporations. The review highlights the content of the plenary and breakout sessions, which were called: “Constitutional and Legal Principles of Russian Statehood: History and Modernity”, “State, Law, Personality: Theoretical and Practical Models of Interaction”, “Constitutional Foundations of State Structure at the Present Stage”.

The Russian State Library (RSL) on October 23, 2014 hosted the first of the last twenty years the All-Russian Research and Practical Conference, devoted to one of the most important components of librarianship: «Scientific and Methodological Activities of the Libraries of the Russian Federation: Current Issues of Theory and Practice». The conference took up the baton of the Annual Meeting of the Directors of Federal and Regional Libraries, just finished their work. This has enabled many of the library managers to take an active part in the discussion of current problems of methodological practices.
