A 25 years old nulliparous regularly menstruating woman presented inShSMC Hospital with the complaints of swelling in the right side of vulva and Dysparunia for 4 months. The swelling was initially small and painless but later on it became painful. The swelling recurred after surgical treatment. Examination revealed a swelling in the right Labium majus which was about 4x3 cm, bulging into right side of vagina. It was diagnosed as a case of recurrent bartholin cyst but during surgical procedure it was apparent that the swelling was not bartholin cyst but some other fleshy structure. The removed mass was 7x4 cm. Histopathology revealed benign lesion containing hypocellular structure with large blood vessels and no malignancy. It was diagnosed as Aggressive angoimyxoma. Aggressive Angoimyxoma is a very rare mesenchymal tumor, uptil now only 200 case have been reported in the world. It is a slow growing benign tumor which is typically located in the pelvis and perineum. It often presents with asymptomatic perineal or vulval mass and may be confused with Bartholin’s cyst, lipoma or hernia. Local recurrence is upto 70%; metastasis is very rare. Treatment is surgical resection Histology reveals a mass of mixed mesenchymal origin with low mitotic activity. It is a hypocellular and highly vascular tumor with myxoid stroma.Bangladesh J Obstet Gynaecol, 2014; Vol. 29(1) : 46-48

First described in a publication by two Nigerian Neurosurgeons, Adeloye A and Odeku EL, in 1971, Adeloye-Odeku disease is a solitary congenital subgaleal inclusion dermoid cyst of the anterior fontanelle. This rare lesion, which makes up about 0.1-0.5% of all cranial tumours and 0.2% of all inclusion cysts, was initially thought to be found only in Africans. However, further reports have shown it to have a universal occurrence, as it has been reported in Caucasians, Chinese, Indians, and other part of the world. This lesion is also known as Congenital inclusion dermoid cyst (CIDS), is a benign slow-growing lesion, and if untreated, may persist to adult life. This article gives a highlight of the disease and its management and goes further to report 3 cases of this rare benign lesion seen in Irrua, South-South Nigeria, a rural, low-resource tertiary health institution. Incidentally and interestingly, all three cases presented within three consecutive months (January-March, 2019) at the neurosurgery outpatient clinic. Being uncomplicated cases, private and group counselling was done. The parents of the patients were much more reassured and relieved from their anxieties seeing others with similar problem. They were all worked up for surgery at different dates, had excision of the cysts with no complication and are currently being followed at the outpatient clinic.

Choosing the right treatment for the patient requires that the right diagnosis is made first. In primary and ambulatory care, however, diagnostic errors are both common and commonly preventable. The World Health Organization has recommended that all health professionals should receive formal training in the principles of diagnostic reasoning and the causes of diagnostic error, and that strategies and interventions to reduce the risk of diagnostic error should be used in clinical practice. This article describes a mnemonic checklist, SAFER PRACTICES, which can be used in an integrated approach to the prevention and detection of diagnostic errors that starts in the classroom and continues through to the consulting room.

Parachordoma is an infrequent neoplasm that bears some histologic resemblance to chordoma. It affects both sexes, occurs typically during the fourth decade of life, and tends to present as a slow-growing painless mass at the level of the soft tissues of the extremities. Diagnosis should be based on immunohistochemical and cytogenetic studies, as the findings of imaging techniques are often unspecific. Although it is considered a benign lesion, its behavior tends to be locally aggressive, with reports of a recurrence rate of up to 20% and of several cases of metastasis. Fewer than 60 cases have been published in the English-speaking literature. In this paper we present the case of a 32-year-old male with a two-year history of parachordoma in the right wrist.

Aggressive angiomyxoma is a rare, locally invasive tumor that generally affects the perineum and pelvis of reproductive age females. Aggressive angiomyxoma is often misdiagnosed, resulting in the delay of the treatment. Case reports show increased growth of the tumor during pregnancy, thus suggesting a hormonal dependency. We report this rare condition in a 29-year-old primigravid female with a growing mass on the right labium majus at 20 weeks’ gestation. The patient also developed a smaller mass on the left labium majus at 37 weeks’ gestation. The patient underwent a primary cesarean section with resection of the right labial mass, with a final diagnosis of aggressive angiomyxoma. The lesion on her left labium majus resolved spontaneously postpartum. This case report supports a hormonal involvement in this tumor.

ABSTRACTAngioleiomyoma is a benign tumor of vascular smooth muscle origin. Although many factors have been implicated in its pathogenesis, presence of lipometaplasia suggests its hamartomatous nature. This tumor presents as a painful nodular mass in extremities. Thus angioleiomyoma should be considered as a differential diagnosis of any solitary painful mass of forearm. Herein we report a case of 37-years-old female presenting with a slow growing mass in the right forearm. Histopathological and immunohistochemical examination confirmed the diagnosis of angioleiomyoma.

Abstract Background: aggressive angiomyxoma is a rare disease that may cause misdiagnosed in the clinical work and the characteristic of this disease is low potential malignancy. This case show a recurrent case of aggressive angiomyxoma 7 years after the surgery which was mistakenly diagnosed at that time.Case presentation: the patient presented a large mass in the right labium majus without any pain. This mass was recurrent 7 years after she received a surgery about the mass occurred at the same place which was diagnosed as vulvar angiomyofibroblastoma. She took the ultrasound scan and MRI scan and underwent the surgery again. This mass was excision completely. At this time, pathologist checked the HE stained slides and immunohistochemistry staining slides, then come the conclusion that this mass was aggressive angiomyxoma. We rechecked the pathological slides 7 tears ago and found out it was misdiagnosed at that time. Conclusions: Aggressive angiomyxoma is a rare tumor. This case presents a rare disease that may be misdiagnosed as other benign vulvar disease even after the surgery which get pathologic evidence. So we need to know more abou this disease.

AbstractNumber of deaths related with injuries suffered as a result of experienced traumas is increasing. Penetrating traumas of the facial skeleton occur relatively rarely and much more often concern rather children than adults. Epidemiology relating this kind of trauma differs depending on the region of the world. In Poland, gunshot injuries as well as traumas caused by explosions of firecrackers or fireworks amount only to a slight percentage among all facial skeleton traumas, and the most common reason for penetrating traumas lies in accidents or assault with the use of sharp, narrow and long objects that easily enter bones of the facial skeleton. The present study reported the case of 50-year-old man who suffered from trauma of the facial skeleton, which resulted from foreign body (pickaxe) penetration into the subtemporal area, zygomatic arch and the right orbital cavity. The surgical treatment method and final outcome was presented and discussed.

Introduction: Infantile digital fibromatosis (FDI) is a rare, recurrent, benign tumor that occurs in the fingers and toes at birth or in the first months of life. We report a new case. Case report: A 2 1/2 year old girl had light-pink, non-painful, hard, solid tumor formations, sitting on the dorsal surface of the fifth metatarsal bilaterally and the 2nd phalanx of the 5th left finger, resulting in joint deformity and then functional discomfort. X-rays of the front and the profile of the fingers showed a chondrome of P2 of the 5th finger, without anomaly on the X-ray of the knees. On the ultrasound of the soft parts: presence of soft masses very hypoechogene avascular compared to the 5th ray measuring 2.81cm on the right and 1.21cm on the left. The diagnosis of infantile digital fibromatosis was retained. Surgical treatment was undertaken. Conclusion: The FDI is a rare and often easy diagnostic entity. Its recognition is important to consider adequate treatment knowing that this lesion can regress spontaneously and that post-surgical recurrences are frequent.

A country needs to make contact with each other based on the national interests of each country related to each other, including among others economic, social, cultural, legal, political, and so on. With constant and continuous association between the nations of the world, it is one of the conditions for the existence of the international community. One form of cooperation between countries in the world is in the form of international relations by placing diplomatic representation in various countries. These representatives have diplomatic immunity and diplomatic immunity privileges that are in accordance with the jurisdiction of the recipient country and civil and criminal immunity for witnesses. The writing of the article entitled "The Application of the Principle of Non-Grata Persona to the Ambassador Judging from the Perspective of International Law" describes how the law on the abuse of diplomatic immunity, how a country's actions against abuse of diplomatic immunity and how to analyze a case of abuse of diplomatic immunity. To answer the problem used normative juridical methods through the use of secondary data, such as books, laws, and research results related to this research topic. Based on the results of the study explained that cases of violations of diplomatic relations related to the personal immunity of diplomatic officials such as cases such as cases of persecution by the Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Indonesian Workers in Germany are of serious concern. The existence of diplomatic immunity is considered as protection so that perpetrators are not punished. Actions against the abuse of recipient countries of diplomatic immunity may expel or non-grata persona to diplomatic officials, which is stipulated in the Vienna Convention in 1961, because of the right of immunity attached to each diplomatic representative.
