This study experimental research investigated the effect of using Wridea on enhancing EFL writing performance in PGRI University. It shed a light on how Wridea could enhance the writing skill. Wridea helped many of the participants to be more metacognitively aware of their English writing process. The results of this study showed that Wridea could be utilized as a service for improving the writing skill outside of the classrooms.

 ABSTRACT  Writing becomes one of fundamental skills in learning language. In tis digital era, when everything is possible to be done in online,  the students prefer to easily find some references in the websites or other online sources. The students hesitate to produce their own ideas in that they can get anything they want on the internet. This cases take a big part of the quality of the students in mastering writing skill. Thus, the teachers should have many alternative to help the students, more to EFL stuents to improve their writing performance through such an online based-learning. Grammarly is one of possible solution can be taken as the students writing assistant while the teachers giving some exercises. The students will be helpful working on Grammarly in that they will be able to produce any languages they know, then Grammarly will take a place to help them correct their work.

This research intended to explain the factors of students’ problems at eighth grade of SMP NU Al-Hidayah Maduran on English writing. It aimed to investigate the effect of POEW (Predict, Observe, Explain, Write) strategy used on English writing to enhance student’s English writing skill. In addition, it elaborated the significant after using POEW strategy on student’s narrative English writing. This research conducted using a quantitative design a quasi experimental research by two classes of pre-test and post-test. The researchers implemented this research to eighth grade of SMP NU Al Hidayah Maduran in academic year of 2021/2022. The participants of this study taken from eighth grade of SMP NU Al-Hidayah Maduran, which consisted of two classes and devided by experimental class and control class. It was found from the result of the test that students in experimental class got higher score than students in control class. However, based on the normality testing, this research was not normally distributed. In addition, the data declared that this research was not homogeneous. Thus, the researchers did Mann Whitney U Test. Relating to the test, the result of Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) was smaller than the probability (0.000<0.05). It meant that Ha was accepted. However, it can be concluded that there was an effect of the use POEW strategy at eighth grade of SMP NU Al-Hidayah Maduran on English writing skill.

This study sheds the light on investigating the effects of using Writing Process Approach in developing EFL students in writing skill. It consists of 60 students from foundation program at Hai’l University –Saudi Arabia. The researchers use content analysis procedures to analyze students’ writing. This paper also focuses on the importance of the methods of teaching writing for preparatory year.  Pretest and posttest were used to investigate the effects of traditional and writing process on students’ writing performance. The results showed that students who studied according to the writing process outperformed than those who studied by traditional method. The study recommended to use the writing process in the foundation program at university of Hai’l.

Abstract: Writing is activity to mix between the idea, vocabulary and also grammar. By looking at the problems, the teacher should make the proper method in teaching writing in order to increase the students writing skill and also make the writing be an interesting activity to them. One of the good methods is using video as a media of learning. Video can stimulates the student’s to makes them easier to find the ideas in writing process, because video included 3D and also the complex media. This research was aimed at detecting the influence of using video as a media toward student's writing performance.This research was quantitative research form and the sampling technique was random sampling. The data collection method in this research used the documentation and test that consist of pre-test and pos-test. The data analysis technique of this research used T-test as the hypothetical statistic calculation. Based on the research analysis, there is any positive and significant influence of using video as a media toward students’ writing performance of banking students.

It is obvious that English has become a popular language in many countries in the world. As a means of communication, English guarantees better mutual understanding and has become indispensable for most of people around the world. Thus, it is necessary to find out an appropriate and effective methods of giving feedback to help university students improve their English writing skills. The result of this study indicates that using indirect coded feedback in error correction help students make noticeable progress. The students’ positive attitude towards teacher’s feedback (indirect coded feedback) means that they enjoyed using error codes to find and correct their errors. Moreover, their confidence was boosted because error codes motivated them.

This paper shares about using of CALL method in increasing English Writing Skill. The implementation of CALL method brings the new atmospheres in classroom and offers benefit to the increasing of four English skills. CALL method is an alternative tool to assist teacher or lecturer and student language learning. In spite of the benefits, the implementation of CALL method also has limitation. Therefore, teacher or lecturer should remind that CALL method can be applied depends on the situation suitable for the learners and their need

Writing is still considered as a difficult skill in language learning by Indonesian students. For that reason, it is urgent for teacher to seek for interesting ways to teach writing in the classroom. This study examines the effectiveness of  the use of peer feedback technique to improve students’ skill in writing descriptive paragraph. Some studies have proved the effectiveness of the technique to improve students’ writing skill. The study employs experimental research in which one class of 20 students is  taught to write narrative paragraph and correct their paragraph using peer feedback technique. The result of the study shows that the technique improves the students writing skill in narrative writing, however the scores are not significant. This suggests that there is a factor that affects the result of the teaching using peer feedback, and it is the less time of treatment which is indicated as the factor.
