Didactic value of electronic social networks is determined by capabilities to provide group interaction. It is proved that ESN can act as means of collaborative training activities, means of social contacts deployment, extension of all participants’ social interaction in educational process. Attention is paid to emphasis change from network communication to productive discussion and from collaboration to cooperative learning methods for students. The problem of improving of information and communication competence of all learning process partners is described. Possible changes in teaching methodology, when new objects, electronic social networking services appear in the system of education, are examined.

The article is devoted to the problem of successful implementation of different cutting-edge techniques in teaching in the context of the current significant modifications and profound transformations of the educational system in Ukraine. This work focuses on the forming a foreign medical student linguistic personality, in particular it’s grammar, speech, communication as well as socio-cultural competencies, including by utilizing Advanced Information and Communication technology tools. This research focuses on the introduction of Advanced Information and Communication Technologies into the Ukrainian educational process. It was pointed out, that the effective teaching methodology could be based on the newest methods and techniques. The advantages of pedagogical innovation in comparison with traditional methods of presenting educational information was pointed out. The researchers have interpreted the term Mind map. They have also presented and analyzed its important features, common ways of implementation into current teaching process.

In connection with the general concept of society informatization and education as its integral component, new requirements are imposed to knowledge and abilities of the main participants of educational process. Positive influence of information and communication technologies development on education is noted in many studies and in a number of official documents. Project activity meets the needs of society for the pragmatic use of educational resources in order to intensify education. Implementation of foreign-language Internet projects allows to form students’ grammatical skills of the speech. However, this result can be achieved when accounting a number of psychological and pedagogical conditions. We raise an issue on identification and justification of psychological and pedagogical conditions which have to be considered when developing a methodical system and technology of formation of students’ grammatical skills of the speech during implementation of foreign-language Internet projects. We designate the relevance of the problem and substantiate the accounting of following psychology and pedagogical conditions: a) balance of a theoretical component and practical importance; b) motivation of students when forming grammatical skills; c) foreign language skills at the level of Intermediate-Upper-Intermediate; d) developed information and communication competence of students; e) developed information and communication competence of teacher; f) existence of teaching technology. We substantiate and describe in detail each of the allocated conditions.

The rapid development of technologies and their rapid transformation influenced changes in the world and people’s lives and the educational process evolved. Traditional methods of education are enriched with modern technologies, and digital devices become significant elements in modern education. Social network platforms are an important part of life in modern society, they are visited daily by a huge number of people using computers, tablets and smartphones. Their popularity has made them convenient for use in various fields. These platforms have been accepted as student learning support tools, which is why they are increasingly important in the field of higher education. The paper explores the use of social network platforms in higher education, with a focus on social networking services provided by Instagram. In this research, we tried to determine whether the students of journalism and communication used Instagram for educational purposes. Students (N=100) were surveyed through a printed questionnaire at the Faculty of Philosophy. The results show that most students use social networking services for educational purposes. The platform they use for this purpose is Facebook. When it comes to Instagram, most respondents have an Instagram account but do not use it in education.

The article considers the importance of information and communication technologies for the formation of health-preserving competence of preschool children. The authors propose a detailed analysis of the following concepts: “information and communication technologies”, “health-preserving competence”, “information environment”, “healthy lifestyle”. Based on this analysis, the importance of using information and communication technologies in the organization of the educational process in preschool educational institutions is discovered. The article highlights the possibilities of information and communication technologies for the formation of health-preserving competence of preschool children. The role of information and communication technologies in the organization of information and educational environment of preschool education is figured out. This article evolves the opinion that knowledge, skills, abilities, valuable orientations in the aspect of health-preserving competence should be considered within the information and communication competence as one of its components. The technologies that provide the formation of health-preserving competence of children are described. The following statement is determined: information and communication technologies are one of the priority conditions for health-saving usage of software and hardware in the educational process. The authors substantiate the importance of educational work among children, parents, teachers and administration of preschool institutions to increase their information and communication competence, to organize effective educational process and establish partnership with parents. It is emphasized that methodically correct usage of information and communication technologies contributes to the modernization of the process of health-preserving competence formation of preschool children. Modern Federal State Educational Standards of pedagogical specialties for which training is conducted in institutions of secondary and higher professional education, and the Professional Standard of a Teacher require to create conditions in the educational process for forming information and communication competence of future teachers. Main components of information and communication competence of a teacher are described in the article, modern approaches to determining the structure and content of this concept are highlighted, current features of the functioning of information and communication technologies in education system are revealed, the diverse methodological experience of organizing students’ training on information and communication technologies is summarized, principles and conditions for using information and communication technology tools in the process of teaching academic disciplines “Information technologies in professional activities” at university and “Pedagogy” in teacher training college are substantiated.

The combination of ICT with pedagogical training technologies promotes to the formation and development of information and educational environment of students' learning, as well as the appearance and development of services of network technologies allows to expand the traditional educational process. Educational practice of networking tools usage, such as social services, is at the stage of formation. In the article the functional features of social Internet services in the context of the information and educational environment development as an environment of social interaction between students and appearance of new ways of their educational and cognitive activities have been investigated. There are highlighted the groups of social networking services and organizational forms of teaching, in which the use of the relevant services is a pedagogically appropriate.

Statement of the problem. To achieve the requirements for graduates of engineering fields of training, it is necessary to design and implement an educational process based on the integration of competence, activity and personality-oriented approaches in the context of using information and communication technologies. The improvement of procedure for assessing the results teaching mathematics is due to the transition to competence-based paradigm of education in the context of informatization, strengthening of the role of students’ independence in the educational process, need to solve new problems in future professional activities arising in connection with the development and renewal of the production base. The purpose of the article is to develop an assessment methodology in teaching mathematics for future bachelors of engineering training in the context of informatization of education and increasing role of their independence. The research methodology consists of the analysis of regulatory documents in the field of higher education, the requirements of educational standards, analysis and generalization of the available experience on the problem under consideration. The research is based on the theory of competence-based, activity-based, personality-oriented and systematic approaches, and informatization of education. Research results. The article describes the methodology for evaluating the results of teaching mathematics to students of engineering fields of training. In accordance with the criteria for evaluating the results of teaching mathematics, key indicators of the formation of each criterion are formulated and the levels of their manifestation are described. The potential of using diagnostic tools, including electronic educational resources, has been determined. Conclusion. The implementation of a systematic methodology for assessing the results of teaching mathematics contributes to improvement of the quality of mathematical training. The conducted diagnostics helps to identify gaps in the knowledge of students and adjust the teaching methodology, thereby increasing the motivation of students to study the discipline.

Reformation of the higher education system in Ukraine requires innovative changes in the priorities of educational policy, improvement of its content, information and technological support of the educational process. So the task to determine such methods of interaction between teachers and future teachers of preschool education institutions in order to stimulate their successful professional development arises. One of the tasks of modernizing higher pedagogical education is to develop students' information and communication competence. The problem of professional training of future teachers has been described in researches of the following scientists: V. Benera, O. Bogich, I. Bogdanova, A. Bogush, G. Bielienka, N. Gavrysh, T. Zharovtseva, L. Zdanevych, I. Kniazheva, T. Ponimanska, M. Roganova, T. Tanko, N. Lysenko, N. Malinovska and others. Issues of using multimedia presentations in the training of future specialists were studied by the following scientists: Y. Avsiukevych, V. Bykov, M. Zholdak, I. Zakharova, V. Klochko, A. Kolomiyets, Y. Mashbyts, I. Pidlasyi, O. Spivakovskyi, A. Khutorskyi and others. Multimedia presentation is a didactic tool that allows to transmit information in a visual and schematic form for improvement its perception and increasing its value. The effectiveness of using multimedia presentations is achieved when the following didactic conditions are met: – a harmonious combination of oral presentation of the material during a lecture session and knowledge acquired by students during practical and laboratory classes with the information of a multimedia presentation; – ensuring maximum implementation of multimedia presentation functions, in particular, stimulating thinking, memory and attention of the higher education students; – interactive orientation of multimedia presentation; – the rational ratio of the time allocated to lecturer to familiarize students with the content of topic of the lecture session and the time allocated for a multimedia presentation; – ensuring the perception of information using the maximum number of analyzers; – availability of information for perception and analysis by higher education students; – rational dosing of the volume of information presented using a multimedia presentation. Comparative analysis of the final exam scores of students in the control and experimental groups of the higher education students confirmed our hypothesis that multimedia presentations are the effective means of increasing the level of knowledge of students, forming their information and communication competence Key words: Keywords: older preschool children, multimedia presentation, language development of children, pre-school teacher.
