Every business entity is required to be able to improve their services to customers. With good service it will increase customer satisfaction so that it ultimately increases profits from the business entity itself. To be able to improve service to customers, business entities must be able to present an efficient and accurate sales transaction process. For this reason, sales information system design is needed. Sales accounting information system can streamline the sales transaction process and can produce sales reports that are more accurate and timely and able to record accounting transactions in a short time. Timely and accurate sales reports are needed for the decision making process for business entity owners. The research objective is to develop software using the waterfall device development method, so that it can produce software that is able to improve sales system work and increase profits. The design results of the sales information system using the waterfall method can reduce errors caused by human factors (avoiding human error), avoiding the combination of data entry and presentation of sales reports presented in a fast and precise time so as to help the owner to make the decision making process .

Branch of PT Pelabuhan Indonesia III (Persero) in Tanjung Perak is one of the institution body that appointed by the Government to carry out the collection and remittance of WAPU VAT according to PMK No. 85 / PMK.03 / 2012 (amended by PMK No. 136 / PMK.03 / 2012). WAPU VAT collection and deposit system are inefficient because it requires a lot of time and effort when it comes to input the data entry of tax invoice, printing Tax Deposit and sent it to Bank Perception. Three steps activities need to be done more than once. Therefore, Branch of PT Pelabuhan Indonesia III (Persero) in Tanjung Perak need the collection and remittance of the WAPU VAT system that sufficient to improve the efficiency of tax suboffices performance.This research aims to design the accounting information system for collecting and depositing process WAPU VAT. WAPU VAT Deposit using e-tax payment application are expected to overcome the problems that will arise in the WAPU VAT system deposit.Exploratory qualitative approach with case study method chosen in order to dig up the real problem occurs and find a solution. This research are expected to contribute significantly towards Branch of PT Pelabuhan Indonesia III (Persero) in Tanjung Perak as a research subject. In addition, the implementation of draft e-tax application payment system are expected to improve efficiency process of collection and remittance of WAPU VAT. Keyword : System Design, Wapu VAT, Efficiency, e-tax payment

Abstract - Ordering and billing transactions of food and beverages in a restaurant business are in the revenue cycle. Transactions in the revenue cycle have an important role for the company because from this transaction the company gets cash income. The use of information technology to support the transaction process can increase the effectiveness of the transaction process. Transactions can be processed quickly and accurately. Restaurant business can use accounting information systems to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of transaction processes in the revenue cycle. A computer-based accounting information system is needed in processing transactions. In this study, the authors developed the application of accounting information systems to process transactions in the revenue cycle for restaurant business activities. This application processes transaction data starting from ordering, payment and making revenue reports from restaurant business activities. Keywords: Order, Billing, Accounting Information System

ABSTRACT An analysis of the work performed by the various teams involved in shoreline cleanup operations has been applied to the design of an approach for the integration of data collected by the SCAT process with electronic maps produced by geographical information system (GIS) technology. This has led to the implementation of a PC-based system that incorporates a database of SCAT information, a knowledge base on oil behavior and shoreline cleanup, and a GIS. The system provides support to data collection using the SCAT approach for field teams and to map-based data analysis for planners and managers. In the course of this work, a set of the maps that are considered the most useful for summarizing information about shoreline conditions was designed and evaluated. This evaluation initially involved consultation with individuals experienced in shoreline cleanup. The applicability of the map representation for decision making was further tested during spill drills. SCAT surveys generate a large volume of data that need to be captured and integrated. There is a risk that this large amount of information might overwhelm decision makers involved in the management of shoreline cleanup operations. The paper describes the various modifications that were made to the SHORECLEAN software package to provide some solutions to these problems. These include providing specialized SCAT data entry forms, automating the links between a SCAT database and a GIS, and producing map representations that provide clear, useful, and nonmisleading information for decision makers.

          PT. Aneka Sistim Informasi is a company engaged in trade and services, in which the process of processing and application of financial transaction data is still using conventional system. Through this research the authors describe the outline of accounting information using Zahir Accounting application. Accounting information system is a computer-based system that includes the transaction processing cycle, the use of information technology and information system development. The purpose of this research is to facilitate data entry transaction and financial reporting using accounting program applications. While the data collection method used is a direct observation of transactions that occur in the daily activities of business process activities, then do the interview on the Store Manager and Administration. The literature review studies complement two previous data collection techniques to strengthen theoretically. The result of data processing by using the application of accounting program starts from data entry by doing initial setup, beginning balance, master data up to transaction entry. Good accounting information system is information system that can generate accurate, on time and reliable information for management decision making.  The use of database  to keep the financial transaction  and operasional transaction data must be integrated.  Integrated database will avoid redundant data and keep the currency of data.  Single database in each division will be time consuming, expensive and will cause inconsistency of data.  This will be the disadvantage for the company to compete.  PT SIG is the company operating in freight forwarding industry.  One of the main responsibility is to manage the delivery of package from one place to another place all over the world and to manage all documents related to the shipping.  The management of documents in this industry is very complex, therefore the need to handle the documents in the efficient, complete, fast and zero errror is the prime need of the management.  The documents distributed in this industry are  complex.  The shipment of the package can be performed if the whole documents are complete.  Unfortunatelly, the company can not manage its documents efficiently and effectively.  Documents are manually generated and also manually distributed.  The analysis in this research is the modelling process analyis that will become the basis for the designing of the system.  Modelling process used in this research is Data Flow Diagram.  The analysis of Information System of PT SIG is capable of giving some recomendation to solve the company problem in getting data accuratelly,on time and also to give the best service to  the customer The reliable accounting information system is the system that can generate accurate, on time and reliable information for management decision making and to serve customer in a better way.Keyword : analysis information system, proces modelling, data flow diagram

Abstract This study aims to describe the effectiveness of the Accounting Information System (AIS) and Management Information System (SIM) in Padang Adat Village as a source of budgeting information for the development of Ecotourism in the tourist attraction of Ubud's Monkey Key. Data collection is carried out through literature studies, verification and direct observation in the field, interviews and observations. The place of this research is in the traditional village of Padang Tegal and the Ubud Forest tourist attraction. Based on the research results of accounting information systems and management information systems can help the development of Ecotourism in the tourist attraction of Ubud's Monkey Forest through information generated and used as material for decision making by the Padangtegal village through the effectiveness of accounting information systems and the effectiveness of management information systems. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian sistem informasi akuntansi dan sistem informasi manajemen dapat membantu pengembangan Ekowisata di objek wisata Monkey Forest Ubud melalui informasi yang dihasilkan dan dijadikan bahan pengambilan keputusan oleh desa pekraman padangtegal melalui efektifitas sistem informasi akuntansi dan efektifitas sistem informasi manajemen.
