The study of the relationship between the built environment and road safety suggests that density and urban design features may be associated with traffic incidents. In this study, quantitative data analysis using generalized ordinal logit models, and linear and log-linear regressions was conducted to estimate the influence of the built environment on road safety in Bogotá, focusing on road crash outcomes by estimating the influence of built environment attributes on fatalities and injured victims. The analysis was performed using georeferenced road crash data from 2012 to 2016 provided by Bogotá’s Department of Mobility. The quantitative data analysis focused on arterial roads, considering crash severity and types of road users involved, as well as Bus Rapid Transit System corridors. This analysis was complemented with on-site interviews. The results suggest that the presence of pedestrian bridges is positively associated with the number of road crashes for all road users. Other urban variables such as density and distance to intersections showed significant correlations with safety.

Abstract – Involvement in various organizational activities may positively or negatively affect students’ psychological well-being (PWB). Hardiness, which involves  commitment, control, and openness towards challenges, is the psychological trait that is considered essential for an effective problem solving, and is believed to be necessary in order to take the most positive advantage of organizational involvement. The present study aimed to examine the changes in the PWB scores of students who were involved in organizational activities after undergoing hardiness training; it also aims at exploring the relationship between hardiness and PWB. Participants were 20 university students aged 18 to 22 years old who were involved in student organizations. Quantitative data analysis was conducted using Wilcoxon and Spearman nonparametric tests. Results showed that there was a significant increase in the PWB scores after participating in the hardiness training. The study also found a positive correlation between hardiness and PWB.

Low- and Middle-Income Countries suffer the large majority (93%) of global road crash deaths and face particular challenges in managing this crisis. This paper presents global data and trends revealing underlying features of the problem for LMICs. LMICs are commonly grouped and described together in road safety commentaries, yet appreciation of the substantial differences between LICs and MICs is vital. While global deaths per 100,000 people have stabilized during the UN Decade of Road Safety, the population rate has increased in LICs (by 8.2%), while decreasing in HIC and MIC. LICs have less resources to address road safety and younger populations adding to risk. Wide variations on road safety performance exist within country income groups, with some of this variance occurring systematically between regions. Absolute numbers of deaths are increasing due to increasing population and increasing vehicle fleets in LMICs compared with HICs. The capacity of MICs, and especially LICs, to manage road safety is hampered by poor crash data to guide action as well less available funding and resources to achieve safer road engineering, safer vehicles, and protect the large proportions of vulnerable road users. Road crash deaths and injuries are retarding the economic growth of LMICs and investing road safety is a costeffective means by which LMICs can move towards becoming HICs. Vital opportunities for cost-effective savings of lives and debilitating injuries in LMICs include better management of speed (especially through infrastructure), improving safety infrastructure for pedestrians, increasing seatbelt use, and shifting travel from motorcycles to buses through provision of Bus Rapid Transit systems.

This study aimed to determine the reality of education and religious insight of madrasah teachers as well as the relationship between education and religious insights with madrasah teachers’ work motivation in Serang District, Banten Province. The method used is descriptive method with case study approach and quantitative data analysis. The research sites were at Sultan Agung Madrasah Tirtayasa, Nurul Huda Madrasah Baros and Raudhatul Ulum Madrasah Anyer. The respondents were 50 councilors in each madrasah. Data collection techniques used in the study were questionnaires, observations, and interviews. Based on the data analysis using statistical approaches and the development of a linear regression formula and multiple regression, correlation values are quite high among the variables of educational insights (X1) with the variables of madrasah teachers’ work motivation (Y); and between variables of religious insight (X2) with the madrasah teachers’ work motivation (Y); as well as between the variables of religious and education insight (X1 and X2) with the variables of madrasah teachers’ work motivation (Y).

The purpose of this study was to determine the increase in the ability of teachers in preparing Learning Implementation Plans (RPP) through academic supervision. This research is a school action research with steps: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. This research is planned to consist of two cycles. This research was carried out at MIN Amkoteng Subdistrict Anjir Muara, Barito Kuala District, South Kalimantan Province. Quantitative data analysis was used to determine the increase in the value of the practice of making RPP by teachers based on the standards set by the Ministry of National Education. The results of the study show that the teacher's ability to prepare RPP can be improved by academic supervision; collaboration between teachers and Supervisors of Primary Schools can be well established and useful in fostering teachers to improve their abilities in preparing RPP; the complete document II of the Education Unit (KTSP) MIN Amkoteng curriculum is complete, in the form of RPP collection documents; and this academic supervision can be used as a model in the following years in terms of drafting RPP, and can be used as an example for other schools.

This research is an action research with the method of Kemmis and Taggart which consists of 4 stages, namely (plan, act, observe and reflect). This study consisted of 2 cycles, each of which consisted of 3 meetings. Data collection techniques using observation, field notes, and documentation. Data analysis using quantitative and qualitative. Quantitative data analysis was performed with statistical descriptions to compare pre-cycle to cycle II. Qualitative analysis is carried out by analyzing data from observations, field notes and verified documentation. The results showed that there was an increase in the ability to count numbers 0-10 through the abacus media with a score in the pre-cycle of 46.35% increasing to 66.66% in the first cycle and an increase of 82.29 in the second cycle with the very well developed category.

This study aims to make students have an independent character, discipline and responsibility in the digital era through the Monthly Bazaar. The method used in this research was Mixed Method with a sequential exploratory strategy. The sequential exploratory strategy involves collecting and analyzing quantitative data in the second stage based on the results of the first stage. Weights / priorities are more likely to be in the first stage, and the mixing process between these two methods occurs when the researcher makes a connection between qualitative data analysis and quantitative data collection. The results of the study were obtained from qualitative data analysis in the first stage and quantitative data in the second stage. The results of the first stage were obtained from educators' observations of students after completing the monthly bazaar. The results of the second stage are obtained through calculations using a Likert scale and it is obtained the data of 43.75% (ever) if it is categorized in interpretation of scores based on intervals. This data was obtained before the implementation of the monthly bazaar. After implementing the monthly bazaar for two times, the data is 72.75% (often). From the two stages, the relevant results obtained between qualitative and quantitative data analysis showed that there was an independent character, discipline and responsibility embedded in students after the implementation of the monthly bazaar activities.
