UPAYA PENINGKATAN HASIL BELAJAR IPS MELALUI APLIKASI MODEL BELAJAR MIND MAPPING

The scope of learning material for social sciences (IPS) at Elementary School is very wide, while the time available is very limited. This has been an obstacle for elementary school teachers in achieving the learning objectives. This study aimed to determine whether the application of Mind Mapping learning model on the activities of students learning and the mastery of students learning of IPS. This action research was conducted with three cycles involving 30 students of the fifth grade of elementary school in Kabupaten Kudus. The findings were analyzed using the descriptive qualitative study. The data were collected by using a questionnaires, observation sheets, pretest, and posttest. The results showed that the Learning Model of Mind Mapping can improve the students activity. This indicated an increase in the average score of the class activity to 48.2% in the first cycle, to 56.1% in the second cycle, and to 62.2% in cycle III. The average of the student learning outcomes for IPS also increased from 64 in the first cycle, to 67 in the second cycle, and to 75 in cycles III.   Materi IPS di Sekolah Dasar memiliki cakupan materi yang sangat luas, sedangkan waktu yang tersedia sangat terbatas. Hal ini menjadi kendala bagi guru-guru Sekolah Dasar dalam mencapai tujuan pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah dengan penerapan model pembelajaran Mind Mapping dapat meningkatkan aktifitas siswa dalam belajar. Penelitian tindakan kelas yang terdiri atas 3 siklus dan sampelnya adalah siswa kelas V SD Kabupaten Kudus yang berjumlah 30 siswa. Hasil penelitian dianalisa secara deskriptif kualitatif. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan cara menggunakan angket, lembar observasi, pre-tes dan posttes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Model Pembelajaran Mind Mapping dapat meningkatkan aktifitas siswa. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan adanya peningkatan skor rata-rata aktifitas kelas yaitu dari 48,2% pada siklus I, 56,1% pada siklus II, dan 62,2% pada siklus yang ke III. Rata-rata hasil belajar siswa untuk mata pelajaran IPS juga meningkat dari 64 pada siklus I, menjadi 67 pada siklus II, dan 75 pada siklus ke III.

The purpose of this study was to determine how online learning was implemented in elementary schools during the COVID-19 pandemic. This research was conducted in elementary schools in the Muara Enim District, in Sumatra Selatan, Indonesia. This was descriptive research and a qualitative approach was used. The research subjects were elementary school teachers. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and documentation analysis. Data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model. The results showed that: 1) teachers were not ready in terms of planning and implementing online learning; 2) most elementary school teachers in Muara Enim District used the Whatsapp application in the process of implementing online learning; 3) online learning tended to be less effective because elementary school students still dependend on teachers and parents; 4) student learning outcomes tended to increase during online learning; this was indicated by the average score of students which was ≤ 70 before online learning and ≥ 90 after online learning. Teachers were still hesitant in reporting the assessment of student learning outcomes, because during online learning the teacher cannot supervise students’ completion of the assignments. For this reason, parent cooperation is needed for educating and guiding their children during online learning and so that teachers can determine the development of student learning outcomes at home. This study aims to improve student mathematics learning outcomes by using the Auditory Intelectually Repetition (AIR) learning model approach. This research using a Kemmis and Taggart model design consisting of two cycles. The subject of the research is the 4th-grade student at Prambatan Kidul 1 Elementary School. Data analysis techniques through interviews, observation, and tests. The result of this study indicates that student learning outcomes using the AIR learning model assisted by magic circuit media have increased. This can be seen from the increase in the pre-cycle stage which shows the mathematical learning outcomes of a student by 37,03% with an average score of 62 experienced an increase in the first cycle of 59% with an average score of 66 and the second cycle also increased to 85% with a score an average of 77. Based on the result of the research that has been carried out by 4th-grade students at Prambatan Kidul Elementary School, can application Auditory Intelectually Repetition model assisted by magic circuit media can improve mathematics learning outcomes.

This research is based on the low learning motivation of students in learning rhythmic gymnastics movements. So that the impact on the low student learning outcomes with classical completeness 55.5%. Based on these problems, the solution chosen is to apply the Jigsaw cooperative learning model, because this learning model is a group learning model that can increase student activity. The formulation of the general problem of this research is whether the application of the Jigsaw type of cooperative learning model can improve the learning outcomes of rhythmic gymnastics for fifth grade students of SDN 3 Sukajawa. Whereas specifically, whether the Jigsaw type of cooperative learning model can improve teacher skills, student activities, and student learning outcomes in learning rhythmic gymnastics in fifth grade students of SDN 3 Sukajawa? The purpose of this study was to improve the quality of learning including teacher skills, student activities and learning outcomes of rhythmic gymnastics for fifth grade students of SDN 3 Sukajawa. This type of research is a classroom action research with two cycles. Each cycle consists of four stages, namely planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. The research subjects were students of class V SDN 3 Sukajawa. Data collection techniques used knowledge tests, performance tests and attitude tests. The results showed that the skills of the first cycle teachers obtained an average score of 70 with good criteria. In the second cycle obtained an average score of 80 with very good criteria. The level of knowledge of the first cycle students obtained an average score of 77.8 with good criteria. Cycle II increased with an average score of 82.4 with very good criteria. The results of student performance in the first cycle obtained an average score of 74.5 while the second cycle obtained an average score of 81.6. The students' attitude test in the first cycle obtained an average score of 76.5, while in the second cycle it obtained an average score of 81.5. The final score in cycle I obtained a score of 70 and in cycle II increased to 85. Completeness of classical learning cycle I was 72.2%, cycle II increased to 83.3%.

The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of the Numbered Heads Together (NHT) Cooperative Learning Model on Student Learning Outcomes in Social Sciences Subjects of Class V Elementary School. The study population was all fifth grade students of SD 21 Cindakir Bungus Bay, Kabung Bay, Padang City. The study sample was a fifth grade student at SD 21 Cindakir Bungus Bay, Kabung Bay, Padang City. Data from research results are obtained from student learning outcomes tests. The results of the study indicate that there is an influence of the Numbered Heads Together type Cooperative Learning Model on social studies learning outcomes in class V SD 21 Cindakir Bungus Bay, Kabung Bay, Padang City

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan minat belajar, kemampuan siswa membuat Mind Mapping, dan  hasil belajar siswa dengan model Direct Instruction berbasis Mind Mapping pada pembelajaran IPA di SMP Negeri 3 Kepahiang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VII D SMP Negeri 3 Kepahiang tahun pelajaran 2018/2019 yang berjumlah 25 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket untuk melihat minat belajar siswa, lembar test untuk melihat hasil belajar siswa dan lembar tugas untuk melihat kemampuan siswa membuat Mind Mapping. Berdasarkan hasil tes evaluasi pada penelitian pertemuan 1 diperoleh hasil belajar siswa dalam kategori sangat kurang. Pertemuan 2 diperoleh hasil belajar siswa dalam  kategori sangat kurang. Pada pertemuan 3 diperoleh hasil belajar siswa dalam kategori sangat baik. Berdasarkan hasil angket minat pada pertemuan 1 rata-rata persentase minat belajar dalam kategori kurang. Pada pertemuan 2 persentase rata-rata minat belajar Siswa dalam kategori kurang. Pada pertemuan 3 persentase rata-rata minat belajar siswa dalam kategori baik. Berdasarkan hasil lembar tugas membuat mind mapping pada pertemuan 1 diperoleh skor rata-rata kelas dalam kategori sangat kurang. Pertemuan 2 diperoleh skor rata-rata dalam kategori baik. Pada pertemuan 3 diperoleh skor rata-rata kelas siswa dalam kategori baik. Kata Kunci: Model Pembelajaran Direct Instruction, Minat Belajar, Hasil Belajar, Mind Mapping.  ABSTRACT This study aims to describe student’s interest, ability in making mind mapping, and learning outcomes of students with a mind mapping based direct learning model in science learning in SMPN 3Kepahiang. The research method used was descriptive qualitative. The research subjects were students of class VII D SMP Negeri 3 Kepahiang 2018/2019 school year who received 25 students. The technique of collecting data using a questionnaire to see student learning interests, test sheets to see student learning outcomes and task sheets to see the ability of students to make mind mapping. Based on the results of testing in the first meeting research obtained student learning outcomes in the very less category. The second meeting obtained student learning outcomes in very fewer categories. In the third meeting, the students' learning outcomes were obtained in a very good category. Based on the results of the questionnaire interest in the first meeting the average percentage of interest in learning in the category was less. At the second meeting, the percentage of students' average interest in learning is in the less category. At the third meeting, the percentage of students' average interest in learning is in a good category. Based on the results of the assignment sheet making mind mapping at the first meeting, the average score in the category is very bad. The second meeting obtained an average score in the good category. Students have difficulty understanding the learning material, which has an impact on students' low abilities. It will have an impact on low student learning outcomes. Many factors cause students difficulty in understanding the learning material. One of the influencing factors is the learning model. This research aims to produce a new learning model development called APACIN, an acronym for the learning syntax Observe, Think, Analyze, Create, and Information. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative with a case study approach to elementary school students. The result of this study is that the APACIN learning model can provide alternative solutions to learning problems faced by teachers and students. Through this APACIN learning model, teachers and students can interact more, and students individually and in groups can provide solutions to contextual problems discussed in learning. In addition, the application of the APACIN learning model can build critical thinking, creative thinking, reflective thinking, and decision making in students. The APACIN learning model will make it easier for students to learn so that it will impact increasing student learning outcomes.

This study aims to improve learning outcomes class V students. This research is classroom action research. Based on the results of initial observations, student learning outcomes are still low. This study uses the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition learning model. This research was conducted at SDN 4 Bebetin in fifth grade students with a total of 15 students, consisting of 3 male students and 12 female students. Based on the results of the study, there was an increase in student learning outcomes from cycle I to cycle II. This is evidenced in the first cycle obtained 6 students (40%) who have completed and 9 students (60%) have not completed with an average value of 67. Cycle II increased to 12 students (87%) completed and 3 students (13%) incomplete with an average score of 89. From the results of cycle I and cycle II, it can be concluded that the application of the CIRC learning model can improve learning outcomes fifth grade students at SDN 4 Bebetin, Buleleng Regency.

The purpose of this research was to improve student learning outcomes using the contextual teaching and learning model (CTL), in natural science lessons on the sub-theme of plants as a source of life, design research of Classroom Action Research (CAR), two cycles and four stages each; plans, actions, observations and reflections. The research subject were class VI elementary school number 51/IX Setiris Muaro Jambi, consisting of 22 students. Data collection techniques used observation and formative tests, Data analysis used simple tabulation calculations, the success criteria are ≥73 individually and 100% classical, the results showed that, learning success score 18% increased to 64% in the first cycle and increased again to 100% in the second cycle, with the highest score of 84, the lowest score of 73 and an average score of 79.71, teacher observation by 70% increased to 88%, student observation by 65% increased to 85%. Therefore, it can be concluded that the CTL learning model can improve student learning outcomes in natural science on the sub-theme of plants as a source of life in class VI students of elementary school number 51 / IX Setiris Muaro Jambi district.

This study aims to improve student mathematics learning outcomes in fifth grade GMIM V Tomohon Elementary School. This study uses a classroom action research (CAR) method using a spiral model from Kemmis and Mc. Taggart which consists of planning, action, observation, and reflection is carried out with two learning cycles. The subjects of the study were the fifth grade students of GMIM V Tomohon Elementary School, totaling 25 people. Data in the form of qualitative data and quantitative data. Of the two cycles carried out in the study using the STAD type cooperative learning model in subject mathematics of fifth grade GMIM V Tomohon Elementary School, it turned out that student learning outcomes showed a significant increase. From the learning outcomes data obtained, analyzed by calculating the percentage of completeness of student learning outcomes in a classical. In cycle I student learning outcomes reached 65.2% and in cycle II student learning outcomes achieved 92% success indicators, so that from student achievement using the STAD Type Cooperative Learning Model is more effective to be used in fifth grade GMIM V Tomohon Elementary School

The background of this study is the low results of social studies class V SD Negeri 010 Silikuan Hulu Kecamatan Ukui. This is evidenced by of 26 students only 11 (41.67%), which reached KKM, to research the learning improvement by implementing cooperative learning model Jigsaw. This research is a class act who do as much as two cycles. The collection of data in research adalag with the testing techniques. The study states that the implementation of cooperative learning model jigsaw can improve learning outcomes IPS, it is seen from: the average student learning outcomes which increased 20.25% from the average value of the basic score is 69.58 into 83.67 at UH the first cycle, and the average value UH second cycle increased 31.50% from the average score of 69.58 into 91.50 basis. The percentage of classical completeness achievement has been as expected. Which, on the basis of completeness klasikalnya score is 41.67% with the category is not exhaustive and the UH first cycle increased to 87.50% with the category completely, then at UH second cycle increased to 91.67% with the category completely.
