On-site heritage interpretation plays a vital role in cultural heritage sites in conveying the significance and multiple heritage values to the visitors. In an era where the world is transforming with innovative digital applications, the heritage sites are also being integrated with digital interpretation techniques to deliver a better interpretation and new dimensional experience to the visitors. Though multiple digital solutions are available, not all the techniques are appropriate, applicable and feasible to every site. Besides, neither proper worldwide principles nor framework has been exerted for these digital heritage interpretation developments. Therefore, this study is focused on building a generic conceptual framework to select the most appropriate digital interpretation technique(s) that fit the context of the heritage site, giving special reference to the six Cultural World Heritage Sites of Sri Lanka. The relevant qualitative and quantitative data were gathered via in-depth interviews, field observation, literature survey and a visitor survey questionnaire. The main themes and sub-themes derived through the thematic analysis were adopted as the theoretical framework for the research to analyze the collected data of the six Cultural World Heritage Sites and the selected digital techniques. Based on the results, the study recommends appropriate digital techniques for each Cultural World Heritage Sites of the country. Further as aimed, the study presents a conceptual framework for on-site digital interpretation developments for cultural heritage sites by categorizing the 24 criteria derived for data analysis under five phases namely ‘Prepare’, ‘Assess’, ‘Design’, ‘Implement’ and ‘Sustain’.

The ageing population is the crucial phenomenon that has led to the new market segment in tourism known as 'senior tourists.' A senior tourist is determined as an older traveller or grey tourist. The number of elderly keeps growing throughout time; hence, grey tourists will be relevant preferences, differing from the younger tourists. This paper aims to evaluate the relevant studies regarding travel preferences that involve senior tourists. The objective is to understand the publication trend behind the development of travel preferences for senior tourists. The findings suggest that the overall travel preferences among senior tourists studied include 12 aspects of travel preferences. Researchers tend to focus on the aspect of accommodation among senior tourists compared to the other elements. At the end of the review, this paper is set out to outline the literature review analysis to provide greater insight into the development of travel preferences among grey tourists in tourism research from 2000 to 2020. This paper's output offers future directions to explore the offer trends and future direction in tourism and behaviour literature.

Abstract This article conducts a literature review of current and future challenges in the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in cyber physical systems. The literature review is focused on identifying a conceptual framework for increasing resilience with AI through automation supporting both, a technical and human level. The methodology applied resembled a literature review and taxonomic analysis of complex internet of things (IoT) interconnected and coupled cyber physical systems. There is an increased attention on propositions on models, infrastructures and frameworks of IoT in both academic and technical papers. These reports and publications frequently represent a juxtaposition of other related systems and technologies (e.g. Industrial Internet of Things, Cyber Physical Systems, Industry 4.0 etc). We review academic and industry papers published between 2010 and 2020. The results determine a new hierarchical cascading conceptual framework for analysing the evolution of AI decision-making in cyber physical systems. We argue that such evolution is inevitable and autonomous because of the increased integration of connected devices (IoT) in cyber physical systems. To support this argument, taxonomic methodology is adapted and applied for transparency and justifications of concepts selection decisions through building summary maps that are applied for designing the hierarchical cascading conceptual framework.

This research aims at identifying the determinants of the adoption of e-exporting marketing applications by Jordanian companies and their influence on their exporting performance. For this purpose, a conceptual framework based on the analysis of the literature review and the theoretical adoption models was developed. The required data was gathered through self-administrated questionnaire from 163 exporting industrial companies. The results showed that the extent of e-exporting applications being practiced is considered to be satisfactory (i.e. 62%) and they were varied among exporting companies in terms of their size and experience. The results of factor analysis (FA) indicated that 30 determinants variables could be grouped into three major factors: organizational, environmental and technological and they could explain 76% of the variation of e-exporting applications being implemented and 83% the variation on exporting performance. Furthermore, the results have shown that organizational factor was the most important one determining the extent e-exporting applications being implemented and the environmental factor was the most important one determining the exporting performance. These resultsprovide empirical evidence that the integration approach of the adoption model could produce better explanation of the variation on both the level of e-exporting applications being practised and the business performance. In the final section, research implications and future directions are presented.

The technological developments on artificial intelligence (AI) are going to diffuse in all scales of firms in different industries. AI is increasingly used in diverse business functions, including marketing, customer service, cost reduction, and product improvement. Although there exists a large number of studies on AI, those focusing on the businesses are rather rare, and there is no holistic conceptual framework that brings the information on defining AI business strategy. The aim of this paper is to develop a conceptual framework on defining AI business strategy through a systematic literature review (SLR) of research conducted between 2015 and 2019. Consolidating business and technical views of AI, the paper discusses the major elements of AI in business like abilities and limitations of AI, economics and AI, business functions and AI, workforce, industries and AI, and regulations and ethics of AI on defining AI business strategy.

Several articles of various legal provisions outside Statutory of Cultural Heritage No. 11/2010 concerning cultural heritage have mentioned the issue of incentives and compensation. The incentives and compensation here is given by the government when the public has an cultural heritage objects. The government provides relief by not imposing tax status to the communities that have cultural heritage in the form of sites or buildings. The purpose of this conceptual framework is to identify and recognize how the government seeks to pay attention to aspects of participating communities to protect and preserved cultural heritage. The approached adopted in this study is literature review, using Statutory of land and bulding tax No.12/1994 and the regulation of Public Works and Public Housing Republic of Indonesia No.1/PRT/M/2015 as the main source and some articles related to cultural heritage. The results of the discussion provide an illustration that the government is pursuing a legal product related to incentives and compensation to people who have ancient relics as an effort for the preservation of cultural heritage pertaining to the community.
