Human resources are very important in a business; however, the return on investment in human resources is longer than in fixed assets, so entrepreneurs frequently consider how much to actually invest. This article, based on primary research, examines the motivations for investment when a 20% profit is typically invested with a model return of around 14%. Those findings are supported by the results presented in Archetype models based on similarity clustering. The results are based on an empirical study (278 respondents, omnibus survey) in the Czech Republic. Moreover, the study concludes that the business experience positively influences human resource management and future development to increase the investment share. In essence, this article displays the paramount importance of human resources and human resource management in the international business environment, demonstrating that investments in human resources are crucial to the success of all businesses, positively and consistently supporting organizations’ performance, and entrepreneurship will continue to remain a vital component of the activities belonging to the post COVID-19 era. In addition, in an era governed by the influences specific to the knowledge-based society and the knowledge-based economy, in which intellectual capital will be considered one of the most relevant intangible assets of entities all over the world, the measurement of human resources investment will turn out to be essential for the success of all businesses, while taking the necessary steps in supporting sustainability, sustainability assessment and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Small- and Medium-Sized Enterprises (SMEs) play an important role in the economies of countries because of their characteristics about generating employment. Effective Human Resource Management (HRM) is becoming increasingly important in the modern knowledge-based economy and vital for the success of small- and medium-sized enterprises. However, there are few studies concerning HRM practices of SMEs. The purpose of this study is to analyze the current HRM practices of SMEs, especially which are family businesses, and to identify HRM practices and the problems within these SMEs. With the help of the literature review, helpful suggestions about HRM practices are developed for SMEs.

<p>Agility is a series of capabilities and competencies, which can cause survival and growth of the organization in business environment. One of the approaches that help organizations to enhance agility is electronic human resource management (E-HRM) approach. The main objective of the present study is finding an answer for this issue that how one can use E-HRM approach to develop organizational agility. In this study that has been conducted using survey method, after review of foreign and domestic research literature and construction of conceptual model, a questionnaire would be provided and distributed among employees of bank branches of Bushehr City in Iran and finally, collected data from 315 questionnaires would be analyzed using structural equation modeling method. Obtained results from the study confirm the presented conceptual model and indicate that using electronic learning of human resources, electronic payment of human resources, human resources maintenance and electronic performance appraisal of human resources and also electronic human resource management (E-HRM) can affect organizational agility significantly in confidence level of 99%. In addition, effect of variables of Electronic employment of human resources and human resource communications on organizational agility has not been confirmed. </p>

Yet, with on-going change, it can be difficult to know what to do and how to do it. The world out there is harsh and competition is fierce. Indeed, the world is changing at a rapid pace. This paper will discuss the link between Strategic Human Resource Management, Human resources, Performance and Reward, what we know, and the future direction of Strategic Human Resource Management. Strategic Human Resource Management involves making those decisions that define the overall vision, mission, core values and objectives of the organisation, thus determining the most effective utilisation of its resources. Walker (1992: 16) states that Strategic Management enables managers to respond to environmental changes based on a defined business mission, vision and values. Strategies are directional plans that guide management actions in the pursuit of opportunities. In essence, strategies point the way for the most promising changes. They are plans that give direction and address people related business issues. Human Resource strategies are important because they help determine how to manage people in relation to business strategies. Strategic Human Resource Management aligns Human Resources, which is necessary for the success of the organisation.

Abstract With progressive globalization, changes in the business environment and growing competition, modern companies have been facing challenges and the need for anticipating changes and new threats in the market. Consequently, enterprises operating in a situation of uncertainty are forced to analyze everything that is happening both outside and inside the organization in detail. Managers should pay attention to the atmosphere in the enterprise, communication, cooperation, motivation, etc. The ability of the organization to utilize and manage human resources rationally in order to improve the effectiveness and quality of work is critical. New challenges in the organization, diversity of activities, implementation of new or appropriate rebuilding of old methods (functions) can be ensured by their audit, especially HR audit, whose task is to examine all issues related to the implementation of the personnel function. The aim of this paper is to discuss an audit of personnel functions conducted in a local government unit and to present guidelines, effects and results aimed at improving work and its quality. The paper has a theoretical and empirical character.

Human resource management (HRM) is a recognition of the importance of human labor as vital resources that contribute to the goals of the organization, and utilization of multiple functions and activities to ensure that they are used effectively and fairly for the benefit of individuals, organizations, and society. Now human resource management has a unique and timely opportunity to improve productivity. Eventhough, productivity improvement does not means only increase the output. In addition, the evaluation of program responsibles and meets the special needs of employees with efficient cost. It is a very effective manner that very important, as organizations are tempted to cut costs and improve quality in their company. Without evaluation, it is very difficult to demonstrate that the development is the reason for the improvement. Human Resources Development can maintain and support productivity, as well as company isolate of lack of expertise of the human resources for the current job and future. The results are used in evaluating development programs include participant satisfaction with the training and development program development, learning knowledge or skills, the use of knowledge and skills on the job, and the results such as sale, productivity, or the prevention of accidents. Evaluation can also compare costs against benefits that receive development (return on investment).
