In recent years, a number of case studies of the circular economy in business have been analysed by academics. However, some areas of research are little explored at the micro level, such as the study of the characteristics of the financial resources applied to investments to introduce circular activities in businesses. Therefore, the main objective of this study is to define the resources applied to circular activities by firms. To describe the influence of financial resources on achieving a more advanced circular economy in business is also an objective of this paper. Using a sample of Spanish companies, we applied a partial least square structural equation model (PLS-SEM) to enhance the knowledge about financial resource management in the framework of the resource-based view. We find that availability of funds, quality of the firm’s own financial resources and public subsidies have a positive effect in stimulating the implementation of circular economy initiatives in businesses.

This study aims to examine the determinants of campaign fund management of legislative election campaigns and implications for the transparency of financial statements. The sample consists of 12 (twelve) political parties participating in the 2014 election in East Lombok Regency. It used Structural Equation Model (SEM) approach with Partial Least Square (PLS) software. From the significant value, the hypothesis is accepted if the t-statistic value is higher than 1.67 at a significant level of 5%. Hence, the results showed that H1 for regulatory and H2 for accountability compliance has a positive effect on campaign fund management, and H3 for campaign fund management has a positive effect on the transparency of financial statements. Value T-Statistic H1 is 1.90, H2 is 6.69, and H3 is 6.74 has indicated that hypothesis is accepted.

This study aims to determine the effect of community empowerment on community based tourism (CBT) and community welfare at the Ceking Rice Terrace tourist attraction, Tegallalang, Gianyar. The sample of this study were 88 people through simple random sampling. The data collection method used was questionnaire distribution. The data analysis technique used is the Structural Equation Model (SEM) with the Partial Least Square (PLS) approach. The results showed that community empowerment had a positive effect on CBT and community welfare, community empowerment and CBT had a positive effect on community welfare, and CBT was able to positively mediate the effect of empowerment on community welfare. Community empowerment should be further improved because there are still many people who do not participate in the development of tourist objects, especially Ceking Rice Terrace, which causes economic disparities in Tegallalang Village and there are still people who do not have a job, or in other words, the welfare of the community has not yet been realized.

Women’s equality and empowerment are one of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals that was initiated to eliminate gender discrimination. This goal can be achieved through establishing women entrepreneurship by employing critical failure factor analysis. Thus, this study was aimed to explore the obstacles faced by women entrepreneurs; consisting of restricted training and education, legal constraints, limited access to financial resources, and family-related interface. Besides, this study was intended to examine how these obstacles affected women entrepreneurs’ growth. Data related to 109 women entrepreneurs in Malaysia were collected. The Relative Importance Index (RII) was used to rank these obstacles. Subsequently, partial least square structural equation model analysis was performed on the data. The findings revealed that restricted training and education, limited access to financial resources, and familyrelated interface have an adverse effect on women entrepreneurs’ growth. Therefore, theoretically this study offered a new women entrepreneurs’ model by linking the obstacles and growth within a single study.

This research aimed to analyze the influence of personality dimensions on the performance of employees with training as a mediating variable. The sample used in this study were 45 marketing employees of PT Gresik Cipta Sejahtera. Statistical method analyze technique used is Structural Equation Model Partial Least Square by using Smart PLS 2.0. The results of recent research showed that the dimension of personality extraversion, agreeableness, neuroticsm, openness had significant positive effect on performance, Dimensions of Personality conscientinouness had a negative effect and significant to the performance. Dimensions of personality extraversion conscientinouness, openness had positive effect and significant to training, dimensions of personality agreeableness, neuroticsm had positive effect but not significant to training, training had positive and significant impact on performance.Training did not mediate the effect between Dimensions of Personality extraversion, agreeableness, neuroticsm, openness on performance, training did mediate the effect between Dimensions of Personality conscientinouness on performance.

The purposes of this study is to determine whether there is influence of Trust and Commitment to Supply Chain Performance with Quality of Relation as an intervening variable,  Production and Distribution case study of Dedak on PD. Sederhana. Variables used in this research are trust and commitment as independent variables, Supply Chain Performance as Dependent variable, and quality of relation as intervening variable. This research used quantitative method by using descriptive research and causal research. Data from the 4 variables were analyzed by using Structural Equation Model (SEM) in Software SmartPLS (Partial Least Square) version 1.0. The number of samples used in this study were 57 respondents.Based on the result of data analysis, it can be concluded that there is positive and significant relation among trust and commitment to the quality of relation, whereas there is positif significant relation among Trust and commitment to supply chain performance. The result of analysis indicate that the quality of relation is able to mediate trust and commitment influence to supply chain performance.

The public service quality in The Investment and One Stop Service (TIOSS) Office of Bandung Barat Regency was not optimal. The public participation and discretion were the crucial factors to improve the quality of the public service. Hence, this research examined the influence of the public participation and discretion factors to improve the public service quality in TIOSS Office of Bandung Barat Regency. This research used the mixed method. Quantitative method was reflected through survei technique data collection which then was analyzed through Structural Equation Model and Partial Least Square. While qualitative method was reflected through Focus Group Discussion technique. The results were, first, public participation and the discretion had a positive and significant impact to the public service quality. Second, the public participation variable partially had a greater effect than the discretion variable to improve the quality of the public service. The research suggested that TIOSS Office of Bandung Barat Regency should undertake synergic, comprehensive, and continuous of public participation and discretion practices in order to improve public service quality.
