The article discusses metrological reliability of measuring equipment (ME), argues that ME imprecision must be considered not in statics, 'out in dynamics, taking into account the change of its characteristics over time. Measurement imprecision and its components are considered as random processes that are fully characterized by multidimensional distribution. It is advisable to determine the probability of metrological measurements directly from the experiment due to the difficulties of analytical solution to the problem. The characteristics of dynamic imprecision depend on both the values of the measured object and the ME properties. The physical cause of dynamic imprecision taking place is inertia of ME, its exhaustive description relies on the use of Duamel integral, which determines the response of inertial link to the input influence. As a criterion for signal differences one can use quite different functionals, taking into account further use of measurement results, the convenience of computing, the properties or input influences, and so on. It is most expedient to use the dispersion of signal differences. To calculate the parameters of dynamic imprecision it is necessary to know the energy spectrum of the input signal. The given ratios can be used for both stationary and non-stationary processes. The paper provides examples of using these ratios, recommendations for reducing measurement errors in each particular case.

Certified reference materials (CRM) composed of propyl (11383-2019) and isopropyl (11384-2019) alcohols solutions were created for validation of measurement procedures and control of measurement errors of measurement results of mass concentrations of toxic substances (alcohol) in biological objects (urine, blood) and water. Two ways of establishing the value of the certified characteristic – mass consentration of propanol-1 or propanol-2 have been studied. The results obtained by the preparation procedure and comparison with the standard are the same within the margin of error.

In this paper, we followed the kinetics of methyl methacrylate (MMA) through a novel fluorescence method. The real-time measurement results show that in the regime of very low monomer contents, such as a solution containing 0.1 wt% of MMA with respect to water and with the anionic surfactant of sodium dodecyl sulphate (SDS), the kinetic of the miniemulsion could be followed by this embed fluorescence method. The processes of changing from emulsion to miniemulsion with different amount of surfactant and cosurfactant also have been monitored.

In order to guarantee out-of-gauge freight transport safety, it is necessary to study digital measurement to improve measuring accuracy for out-of-gauge goods which is very difficult to master outline dimension. The process of edge detection and the algorithm of canny operator edge detection were introduced in this paper. Taking the transformer for example, contour extraction was carried out on the end and the widths of transverse and longitudinal height are measured through the mathematical software MATLAB. Finally, measurement results are validated based on the known data. The results showed that canny operator has high calculate precision, and the closer to the part calibrated with pixel calibration, smaller the measurement errors are.

Currently the measurement of surface texture in mechanical engineering is traditionally carried out using profilometers. Modern profilometers do not allow measuring of surfaces with complex shapes. This is due to the different sensitivity of the sensor and the discreteness of the movements along the axes of the Cartesian coordinate system. Coordinate Measuring Machines are devoid of such a drawback. However, stylus of the coordinate measuring machine has a diameter many times larger than the diamond stylus of the profilometer. Therefore, there is a mechanical filtering effect, that affects the results of measuring the parameters of the surface texture. In this paper a mathematical model of the contact of the spherical stylus and a rough surface based on analytical geometry is proposed. Influence of the diameter of the spherical stylus on the maximum measurement errors of a amplitude parameters are investigated. Seven amplitude parameters Rp, Rv, Rz, Ra, Rq, Rsk, Rku of the surface texture are modeled. Coordinate measuring machine and profilometer with stylus diameter of 2 μm measurement results are compared. it was concluded that the stylus diameter of the coordinate measuring machine when measuring the surface texture should be no more than 20 μm.

Measurement process is a specific process to support product quality, and export measurement requirements is the beginning of the measurement process control, it is important to achieve the goals of product quality and manage risk of incorrect measurement results. Measurement requirements, including the requirements for the measurement process and the requirements for measuring equipment, measuring requirements, measuring staff, measurement method, ambient conditions and the measured object as a system, use Measurement Capability Index, quantitatively export measurement requirements of measurement processes and measuring equipment to ensure that measurement processes and measuring equipment satisfy the intended use, make the process of measurement requirement derived more scientific and more standard.

Dynamic properties of the air gauges performing in-process measurement are of the great importance because of dynamic error affecting the measurement results. The paper presents the analysis of the air gauges dynamics and some practical recommendation. The investigations proved the dependence of the time constants on the actually measured back-pressure. In practical solutions of in-process control, the air gauge must work in conditions of falling back-pressure since with the material removal dimensions of the machined workpiece go down. Thus, in the area of the smallest values of back-pressure within the measuring range, the time constant value is the largest. Worsening of the air gauge dynamic properties at the end stage of the machining must be considered when the dynamic characteristics of the projected air gauge are calculated.

The result of a measurement serves as a parameter in a variety of applications, such as: the sale of products; the inspection of materials in relation to specifications/ limits set by a standard; providing support for a judicial ruling; improving the specific quality of products; estimating profitability and making comparisons with a view to mutual recognition between metrology laboratories and systems. The aim of this work is to demonstrate the relevance and applications of the ISO GUM 95 in the fuel analyses conducted by the LABCOM at the EQ/UFRJ, presenting results tables and discussions. The paper further discusses the strategic importance of metrological reliability of measurement results and of the actions of a laboratory within the context of the science of metrology in Brazil.

Performance in a job is very important because it will have an impact on the assessment and productivity of an employee, one of the indicators for evaluating high performance is related to concentration, execution speed and high productivity of the employee. Concentration is needed in working to prevent fatal accidents. In this study, it is possible to monitor measurement results via a smartphone, namely by using the Bluetooth HC-05 sensor as an integration to a smartphone. With 8 pushbutton, Arduino UNO microncontroller, Bluetooth HC-05, 16x2 LCD, and Buzzer. This tool works alternately when the push button Start is pressed, the power from the power supply will provide an electric current to the microncontroller, and continue to be connected to the Bluetooth HC-05, then by providing pushbuttons pressing input. Each pressing instruction on the pushbutton provides a different sound output, consisting of sound output, High, Mid, and Low. And continue on the LCD, and can display the results of the input that has been processed by the microcontroller. The output results are in the form of the amount of time displayed on the LCD, the sound from the buzzer, and from a series of work tools and the output results can be monitored via android smartphone. The results of this study are the accuracy of the tool in each variable low 99%, mid 90%, high 92%. The average tool ranges from 2.44. The error is low 7,4%, mid 7,4%, high 7,6%.

We consider the limit distribution of maxima and point processes, connected with crossings of an increasing level, for a sequence of Gaussian stationary processes. As an application we investigate the limit distribution of the error of approximation of Gaussian stationary periodic processes by random trigonometric polynomials in the uniform metric.
