Corporate policy of mining companies: particular qualities of formation and implementation

On the example of the mining and metallurgical complex, the particular qualities of the corporate policy of industry enterprises are formulated. The principles of the formation and implementation of corporate policy, as well as the directions of the management's actions to create corporate value are stated. The formats of organizational regulations that implement the requirements of the corporate policy of mining companies in relation to the tasks of the integration interaction of enterprise management within metallurgical holdings are recommended. A method is proposed for a generalized assessment of the effectiveness of the integration interaction between the management of mining and metallurgical companies.

This research aimed to examine whether corporate social responsibility affect the corporate value and whether the profitability as a moderating variable affect the corporate social responsibility and corporate value on mining corporate listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) for the 2016-2018 period. This research used samples from mining companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) for the 2016-2018 period as many as 31 issuers and used purposive sampling technique. This research is quantitative descriptive. The data used is secondary data and used data collection methods, namely documentation studies. The data used in this research are financial statement and annual reports by mining companies obtained from the Indonesia Stock Exchange website (https://www.idx.co.id). Based on research results by using the Statistical Product and Service Solution (SPSS 18), shows that CSR affect the corporate value which is proxied to Tobin’s Q, it is known from the calculated t value is greater than the t table value, and the significance value is smaller than the level its significance. And the independent variable CSR and profitability as a moderating are not able to moderate the corporate value, it is known from the value of the relation obtained smaller than the value of CSR to corporate value.

This study aims to determine the effect of managerial ownership and independent commissioners on corporate value through CSR. This research was conducted at mining companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2016-2017. The population in this study were 82 companies and 36 research samples using purposive sampling method. This study uses path analysis with SPSS 23. Analysis tools. The results of this study indicate that managerial ownership and independent commissions influence CSR simultaneously. Managerial ownership, independent commissioners and CSR have no effect on company value simultaneously. Managerial ownership does not partially affect CSR and companyvalue. An increasing number of studies have focused on the impact of the increase in the proportion of overseas returnees in enterprise management. How do executives with an overseas background affect corporate value? Based on Upper Echelons Theory, this paper studies the influence of overseas returnees on enterprise value from the perspective of strategic corporate social responsibility. Based on the sample composed of companies listed in Shanghai and Shenzhen stock exchange, the research shows that executives from overseas through strengthening strategic corporate social responsibility, make the enterprise social responsibility incorporated into the development of business strategy, finally promoting the ascension of the enterprise value. Namely, the strategic corporate social responsibility orientation plays an intermediary role between executives from overseas and enterprise value. This study further correlates the characteristics of overseas returnees with the strategic decisions of enterprises, deepens the understanding of the realization mechanism of overseas executives' promotion of corporate value, enriches the research results of factors influencing corporate social responsibility, to improve the active construction of local enterprises' social responsibility by changing the structure of the executive.

The main purpose of any enterprise in the market economy is to obtain high financial results. One of the main conditions for the effective functioning of the enterprise is ability to generate profit in the amount that will create the financial basis for further development and expansion of the enterprise, comply with social and material needs, ensure competitiveness in the market of goods and services. The need for accounting and analytical management of financial results stems from needs of owners, the state and employees in information that will enable them to identify patterns and trends in financial results, identify and assess the main factors influencing the process of their creation, distribution and usage, identify reserves and thus increase the level of profitability. Despite the significant scientific contribution in the field of research of financial results of the enterprises, the issue of improvement aims to the accounting and analytical maintenance of management of financial results of the enterprise remains actual. That is why the purpose of the study is to substantiate the theoretical and practical aspects and develop approaches to improving the mechanism of formation of accounting and analytical support for the management of financial results of the enterprise. Accounting and analytical management of financial results of the enterprise is a set of interconnected elements of production and management system, activities carried out by the subject of management, creation of a certain structure, as well as collection, accumulation, storage and analysis of information necessary for effective operation of the enterprise. The main components of the study of accounting and analytical support of financial performance management are the formation of methods of analysis, control and forecasting of financial results, which requires specification of the components of the analytical and controlled process within the organizational and information model. Namely, the formation of reliable information about the financial condition of the enterprise, the analysis of economic indicators of the enterprise is of great importance in the system of general evaluation of business entities. Their research makes it possible to assess the dynamics of the structure of income and expenses, to determine the impact of factors on the company's profit from various activities, as well as to find reserves to increase the net profit of enterprises. Thus, the improvement of accounting and analytical support of enterprise management is based on the use of modern forms, methods and principles that place new demands on the formation of unbiased, complete, timely, clear and useful accounting and analytical information about the enterprise and its financial results.

Time period in completing the audit work until the date of publishing audit report is called audit report lag. BAPEPAM requires each of going-public companies to publish their annual reports not later than three months after the fiscal year ends. The aim of this research was to determine the effect of profitability, solvency, company size, audit opinion, and size of public accounting firm on audit report lag at mining companies listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange during the period of 2013-2017. As many as 12 samples were obtained through purposive sampling technique. The data analysis technique used was the multiple regression analysis. The results showed that the profitability and company size negatively affected the audit report lag, while the other variables, such as solvency, audit opinion, and size of public accounting firm, had no significant effect on the audit report. The result of simultaneous test showed that all independent variables influenced audit report lag with 32.8% of determination coefficient.

This study aims to get empirical evidence about the infuence of IT spending on corporate value by testing the efect of IT spending on corporate value by using Tobin’s Q. Te higher the stock price, the higher the company value as well as investors’ assessment. The market price of the company’s stocks refects investors’ assessment of the overall equity held. Of the stock price refects investor can provide an assessment of a company. Tobin’s Q is the ratio of the market value of the company’s assets as measured by the market value of the outstanding stocks and debt (enterprise value) to the replacement cost of the assets of the company. The sampling method is based on purposive sampling method with the purpose to obtain a sample that meets the criteria. Tis study used a sample taken from a telecommunications company listed on the Stock Exchange throughout Southeast Asia during the period of 2009-2011. The hypothesis in this study was tested using simple regression. Based on data analysis, the result that the variable IT spending does not afect the company value.Keywords: accounting information system, Tobin’s Q, IT spending, capital expenditure, company performance
