In the article the results of analysis of theoretical literature and pedagogical practice of problem of formation communicative activities of students of higher  educational institutions have been compiled. The terms “communicative activities”, “communication” have been analyzed. The term of readiness to master communicative activities has been determined as a system of such properties and qualities of personality, which determine its mood for future communicative activities, communication, the ability to implement them. Criteria for the readiness of future teachers of a foreign language to master the communicative activity have been determined.The main structural components of communicative activities are the subject of communication is another person, partner in communication as a subject; partner in communication as a subject; the need for communication - the desire of man to know and evaluate other people, desire for self-knowledge; communicative motives are those for which communication is carried out, actions of communication - units of communicative activity, the task of communication is a goal whose achievement in a concrete communicative situation is directed to the various actions performed in the process of communication, the product of communication - the formation of material and spiritual nature, his result. The term “ways of communicative activities” has been found to characterize the learning process of future foreign language teachers has been developed. The structure of the method of communicative activity, which reflects the main components of communicative activity, has been presented. The way of communicative activity is aimed at solving a communicative problem. Stages of solving the communicative problem are analysis of the created communicative situation, definition of the communicative goal and objectives of the activity, review options for its achievement, the choice of the optimal, implementation of communication, analysis of the course of activity and the results. Taking into account these stages, types of ways of communicative activity have been defined. Criteria of formation of communicative activity have been developed: personality activity in communication; awareness of  the  principles of communicative  activity, mechanisms of communication; possession of communication technique; awareness of communicative actions, the course of communicative activity  in general, determined levels of their formation (creative, productive, sufficient).

Introduction. The article considers the problem of the development of future teachers’ digital competences in creating foreign language multimedia tutorials and presents the results of the corresponding research conducted by the authors. In the context of the digitalisation of education, the foreign language multimedia tutorials represent an effective means of organising and integrating authentic audio-visual materials into the learning process. Nevertheless, FL (foreign language) teachers today face the problem of the lack of the competences, including digital ones, necessary for the development of effective multimedia tutorials, which cannot be created without the awareness of the methodological foundations of their designing, mastering of the relevant software tools and obtaining the corresponding level of digital skills of their usage.Aim. The current research is aimed to identify the effectiveness of the training course for future teachers in the development of foreign language multimedia tutorials based on authentic audio-visual materials. The training course was conducted at Academician E. A. Buketov Karaganda University among 30 graduate students.Methodology and research methods. The research work was based on the determination of four levels of training in the field of development of multimedia foreign language tutorials: recognition-based, reproductive (adaptive), heuristic, creative.Results and scientific novelty. The developed training course proved its effectiveness in increasing the level of development of digital competences of future FL teachers in the field of designing multimedia educational resources. The research results demonstrated that 80 % of the participants achieved the heuristic level in the field of the development of digital educational resources, namely multimedia tutorials, getting the required 60 % and more points (according to Bespalko V. P.) in the final assessment of academic achievement.Practical significance. The corresponding authoring experimental training course contributes to solving the problem of the development of the future FL teachers’ competences when creating multimedia educational resources, and to the problem of skills formation when using appropriate software to create multimedia educational resources.

Cultural globalization of different countries, extended social circle of future teachers, exchange programs, emigration, scientific and professional contacts with representatives of other cultures call for the need to study foreign languages. Current changes pose new pedagogical challenges for scholars in terms of instilling communication culture while preparing future teachers of foreign languages. The article studies the concept of bilingualism, bilingual communication culture and its specifics, scope and relations with other concepts. The author argues that bilingualism is an essential component of general communication culture of future teachers, crucial for them to exchange information and share experience by means of their mother and foreign tongues. Specifics of professional training for future foreign language teachers implies the need for bilingual communication, the effectiveness of which depends on the mastery of languages as well as ability to organize language interaction and communication skills. One possible way to develop bilingual communication culture in the process of preparing future foreign language teachers to their professional activity is engaging the model of developing linguistic and communication skills of bilinguality. It is this bilingual training system that allows students to perceive general aspects of communication culture and its fundamental principles, determins the specifics of bilingual communication and features of professionally oriented expression in the process of comprehending bilingual communication culture as a whole. Integration of languages and cultures contributes to identification, classification, organization and evaluation of objects of the world around us, facilitates adaptation to new cultural environment, helps organize and coordinate activities, encourage other participants of language groups to act correctly.


The article is devoted to the analysis of the role and the place of linguo-sociocultural competence in university teaching of the language and preparation for professional work of foreign language teachers, in particular, Chinese teachers of the Russian language. The invariant and variable aims of education and the communicative needs of students-philologists – future teachers in the current branches of communication are formulated: professional, socio-cultural, business, socio-political and colloquial. The modern points of view on the structure of professional competence of future foreign language teachers, the place of linguistic and socio-cultural competence in its structure are analyzed. The result of mastering a foreign language by this contingent of students should be an integrative communicative competence, which is a complex of key competencies: linguistic, conversational, socio-cultural and professional. The role of mastering the aspects of the language system, productive and receptive types of speech activity in the process of forming the professional skills of students in communication and studying in the socio-cultural sphere is described. Cultural studies components of the educational process organization are emphasized. The training of linguistic and socio-cultural competence should be carried out within the framework of the culturological approach. The most developed in the methodology aspect of this approach is linguistic and cultural studies. The linguistic-cultural knowledge, abilities and skills of foreign languages future teachers are systematized. The analysis of the main data formation of linguistic and socio-cultural competence is carried out on the example of the organization of the teaching Russian to Chinese students. Methodical solutions for the formation of professionally oriented linguistic and socio-cultural competence based on its cognitive-active model are proposed.

The article defines that in modern Ukrainian realities the teacher of Ukrainian language and literature of the new generation appears as a person who is aware of national, cultural and linguistic values, preserves and continues Ukrainian cultural and historical traditions, has creative personality, is a true patriot, professional teacher (active citizen of Ukraine), spiritual mentor. Accordingly, there is the demand to improve philology teachers’ professional training, taking into account different concepts, approaches and principles; ensuring a harmonious combination of purpose, content, structure, stages, forms, and methods of organization the educational and communicative environment of higher education institutions. Any system can function and develop successfully only under certain conditions, as well as the result of future philology teachers’ professional training in an educational and communicative environment.The optimal pedagogical conditions for future philology teachers’ training in the educational and communicative environment of higher education institutions have been identified: 1) increasing motivation and pedagogical reflection on the professional and communicative activities of future teachers of philology by means of interactive technologies; 2) the use of communicative learning strategies during the training of future teachers of philology; 3) improving the content and forms of practical training to gain experience in future professional and communicative activities; 4) creation of educational-methodical and educational-informational support of educational-communicative environment for training of teachers of philology. It was found that such pedagogical conditions would improve the educational and communicative environment, create a mechanism of mental activity of students, which will contribute to the accumulation of knowledge and life experience, as well as support studentsʼ intellectual efforts, stimulate cognitive and communicative activity. It has been confirmed that pedagogical conditions optimize the improvement of the educational process, the creation of such a mechanism of students' thought process, which will promote the accumulation of knowledge and life experience, as well as support studentsʼ intellectual efforts, stimulate cognitive and communicative activity.

The article deals with the conditions of future foreign language teachers' training. The author clarifies the concept of system-activity approach, substantiates its importance in the academic process. It is revealed that the system-activity approach makes the process of future foreign language teachers' training more integral, scientifically oriented and systematic. A competent responsible specialist, able to meet the demands of the time, can only be prepared in an open educational system. The reason for this is because the open system constantly interacts with the environment, its source of existence lies beyond its borders. It is stated in the article that the activity approach in the process of future teachers' training allows to direct students to independence in learning; to teach them to effectively organize their activity; to set the goal and achieve its realization; to be able to apply analysis and synthesis not only for carrying an individual research, but for using them while solving practical tasks, evaluating the results of their activities. The author also analyzes the impact of interactive methods on the effectiveness of learning. Interactive learning is viewed both as the process of collective cognition, where knowledge is acquired as a result of collaborative activities, and as the use of the latest information technologies in the academic process. The application of a number of interactive technologies is described, such as the technologies of cooperative and collective-group learning, situational modeling and processing of discussion questions, as well as informational and communication technologies. It is proved that system-activity approach to training future teachers by means of interactive technologies helps increase the level of students' motivation and creates favorable conditions for mastering their future professional skills.

The purpose of the article is to determine the structure of communicative competence of future foreign language teachers. In the process of research, a number of methods was used, among which: analysis, synthesis, deduction, induction, comparison, monographic method, abstraction. The article substantiates the need to structure the communicative competence of future teachers of foreign languages, highlights the main factors: 1) competence as a scientific and pedagogical category; 2) competence in general and communicative competence in particular are evaluative categories; 3) foreign language communicative competence requires comparative analysis within its structure. The peculiarities of the classifications of competencies offered by different scientists in relation to different areas of training are considered. The analysis of scientific sources on the problem of structuring the communicative competence of future specialists is carried out. The structure of communicative competence of future foreign language teachers is presented in the set of the following components: purposeful, which reflects the level of students’ interest in further growth of their level of communicative competence, on the one hand, and motivated mastery of modern information and communication technologies; cognitive-linguistic component, which is represented by a set of systematic knowledge of a foreign language and methods of its teaching, as well as a course in psychology and pedagogy of higher education; procedural and technological, which allows, on the one hand, development of communicative skills in the field of foreign language communication and teaching foreign languages, on the other – skills and abilities to use modern ICT in the process of learning (and further teaching) foreign languages; reflexive-evaluative, which involves the ability to assess the level of formation of communicative competence of future teachers of foreign languages with the use of modern information and communication technologies, and to implement their own reflection of these processes. The identified and described components of communicative competence are correlated with the list of professional competencies of the specified specialist. We see the prospects for further research in the development and implementation in the practice of higher education institutions of the model of formation of communicative competence of future teachers of foreign languages.

The article reflects the features of methodological training of future teachers of geography in higher education institutions. The purpose of the article is to form the methodological competence of future teachers of geography, which would meet modern requirements for the training of specialists in higher education institutions. Methodological approaches (systemic, personality-oriented, competence-oriented, activity-based, contextual, environmental) and principles of methodical training (scientific, professional orientation, integrativeness, coherence, connection of theory and practice, consciousness and activity, systematicity and sequence, strengthening creative orientation, variability, personal orientation). The components of methodological competence, such as methodological knowledge, methodological skills, pedagogical reflection are revealed their mastering by students during the study of the discipline "Methods of teaching geography" and during pedagogical practice is shown. Certain difficulties of students in mastering methodological knowledge and skills are outlined and a number of organizational and pedagogical measures that will contribute to the formation of methodological competence are identified on their basis. The purpose of training is defined as the formation of methodological competence of the future teacher of geography. A description of the process of formation of methodological competence of students - future teachers of geography through various forms of education (lectures, seminars, practical classes), independent research and teaching activities.

Abstract There is no doubt these days that knowledge of different forms of motivation and its implementation in the work environment is a prerequisite for improving the quality of work results and subsequent achievement of organizational goals. Every head teacher meets this phenomenon. A lack of motivation is behind a number of unfulfilled tasks, unwillingness to look for efficient work practices, absence, disloyalty to their own society, refusing overtime, not accepting necessary changes, ignoring requests for assistance, and more. It is not easy to find a way to solve these problems. However, theory and practice go hand in hand and together it creates the perfect symbiosis which looks at the ailments mentioned and gradually finds answers. Where to start in order to be successful in this quest? We should first recognize the meaning and importance of motivation in the work process. The role of the head teacher is to know teachers to have a positive impact on their behaviour and entrust them with such tasks corresponding to their knowledge and skills. Work motivation is focused on carrying out a work obligation and should lead to the required working behaviour. Motivation to work is also connected to the work environment and climate in which teachers work. In general, we can say that teachers’ satisfaction at work determines their personal relationships outside the workplace as well. For this reason, we decided to handle the theme on the specifics of the process of motivation occurring in the relationship between head teachers and foreign language teachers. The aim of this paper is to analyze the issues of the specifics of the process of motivation in the relationship between head teachers and foreign language teachers.
