Penggunaan Metode SBAR untuk Komunikasi Efektif antara Tenaga Kesehatan dalam Konteks Klinis

Abstract—Interprofessional collaboration is a collaboration in health services between health professionals from diverse backgrounds. One of the most important aspects of collaborative practice in health services is the communication between health professionals. Lack of communication can cause a delay in treatment and medical errors. Ineffective communication can also represent a lack of coordination. SBAR method is an effective communication technique for health professionals. The SBAR method is useful to improve team communication in general, improve communication skills in certain situations, and also helpful during shift handover. Keywords: interprofessional collaboration, communication, SBAR method Abstrak—Kolaborasi interprofesional merupakan suatu kerja sama dalam pelayanan kesehatan antara profesional kesehatan yang memiliki latar belakang pendidikan berbeda. Dalam pelayanan kesehatan, salah satu hal terpenting dari praktik kolaborasi yaitu komunikasi antara tenaga kesehatan. Kurangnya komunikasi dapat menyebabkan terjadinya keterlambatan dalam melayani pasien dan kesalahan dalam menangani pasien. Komunikasi yang kurang efektif juga dapat menggambarkan koordinasi tenaga kesehatan yang kurang baik. Teknik komunikasi efektif yaitu SBAR ditetapkan sebagai standar komunikasi antara tenaga kesehatan yang berfokus terhadap pasien. Metode SBAR bermanfaat untuk meningkatkan komunikasi tim secara umum, meningkatkan keterampilan komunikasi saat situasi tertentu, dan juga berguna pada saat operan dinas. Therapeutic Communication Strategies in Nursing Process of Angry, Anxious, and Fearful Schizophrenic Patients

Schizophrenia is a group of psychotic disorders with primary personality disorders, characteristic distortions of thought processes. Schizophrenic disorders are characterized by fundamental and characteristic distortions of thought and perception and incompatible or blunted effects. Anger, anxiety, and fear are the most common hallucinations in Schizophrenic patients. These feelings drive the continued negative behaviour of the Schizophrenic patient. The therapeutic communication technique in the nursing process is one of the techniques in the healing process of patients, especially those with mental disorders nursing problems. This study was conducted based on anxiety about the results of observations, preliminary research, and reports obtained about the number of therapy failures for Schizophrenic patients caused by communication errors during treatment. In this study, researchers aimed to determine the Therapeutic Communication of Nurses to Patients. This qualitative research uses a Quasy-experimental design using a One-Group Pre-Post Test Design research design. The conclusion emerged in the study that 22 people (88%) of respondents were in the Bad category in controlling negative thoughts. Meanwhile, three respondents (12%) have an excellent ability to control negative thoughts. There are also research results that show 3 variables that support effective and efficient therapeutic communication. These are Build Trust, Troubleshooting with Constructive Coping, and Giving Appreciation.

The Optimal Carrier-Secret Ratio for Wireless Covert Channels Based on Constellation Shaping Modulation

Wireless covert communication is an emerging communication technique that prevents eavesdropping. This paper considers the bit error ratio (BER) problem of covert communication based on constellation shaping modulation (CSM). The impact of carrier-secret ratio (CSR) on BER is studied and the approximate solution of optimal CSR is obtained. Then, we extended the conclusion to typical communication scenarios with one and more relays where the undetectability and reliability were analyzed and inspected. It is proved that there also exists the optimal CSR in scenarios with relays. Additionally, it is found that the undetectability under the constraints of constant total power depends on the eavesdropper’s position, and we found an undetectability deterioration area (UDA) in the scenario of relays. Simulation results show the existence of optimal CSR and its impact on transmission performance.

Discussion and Practice of Blended Teaching in Basic Theory and Application of GSM-R

In order to accommodate the trend of high-speed railway signaling integrating with communication techniques, Basic Theory and Application of GSM-R is a crucial curriculum for students majoring in Traffic Information Engineering and Control and Transportation Engineering. It helps students to master the latest theory and application of train-ground communication techniques. However, with the application of the next generation railway mobile communication technique, several advanced communication techniques are presented in the form of English materials. It is of great significance to have a bilingual teaching mode for this course. This would contribute to cultivating research-oriented and professional talents with international competitiveness. Through the blended teaching reform of bilingual education, the proportion of topic selection of interdisciplinary research papers by postgraduates has increased from 6% to 15%. In this article, the characteristics and the current problems of bilingual teaching are discussed from theory to practice in three aspects: the production of bilingual courseware, the supplement of English materials, and the guidance of research topics. Additionally, corresponding teaching reform schemes are proposed in this article.

Analysis on Students’ Interest in Speaking Skill (A Descriptive Quantitative to the Eleventh Grade Students of SMAN 1 Boyan Tanjung in the Academic Year of 2021/2022)

The purposes of the research here 1) To find out the level of students’ interest in speaking skill at eleventh grade of SMAN 1 Boyan Tanjung. 2) To find out students' responses in speaking skill at eleventh grade in SMAN 1 Boyan Tanjung. The research method used in this research was descriptive method. Data collection techniques used in this research resume are Direct communication technique, and Indirect Communication Techniques. Data collection tools are questionnaires and interviews. The data analysis technique used is the formula percentage by Zuldafrial (2012:226). Based on the results of the study can be concluded that in that in a manner general speaking skill at Eleventh Grade in SMAN 1 Boyan Tanjung has been low interest. More specifically can be described as follows 1) The level of students’ interest in speaking skill at eleventh grade SMAN 1 Boyan Tanjung in the Academic Year of 2021/2022 which has a fairly good level of interest this is evident from the results of the acquisition of 50% included inpretty high category. 2) Students' responses in speaking skill at Eleventh Grade in SMAN 1 Boyan Tanjung in the Academic Year of 2021/2022 is low. The low interest of students in speaking English there are several factors from them not liking English, from accuracy, fear of spelling mistakes to difficult lessons for them.

Motivational Interviewing as a new Approach to Improve Outcome Through Self-care Behavioral Changes in Advanced Heart Failure Patient: a case report

Background A lack of adherence and inadequate self-care behaviors are common reasons for recurrent hospitalizations among patients with heart failure (HF). Although patients recognize the importance of HF self-care, it is sometimes difficult to correct their behavioral patterns. Motivational interviewing is a communication technique to resolve ambivalence toward changing behavior, and it has been widely used to promote behavioral changes and improve outcomes in various chronic diseases. We described a case of advanced HF with reduced ejection fraction in which motivational interviewing lead to stabilize the patient’s condition. Case summary A 33-year-old man was diagnosed with dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM) who experienced repeated episodes of HF requiring hospitalization despite optimal guideline-based HF treatment. Transthoracic echocardiography disclosed a severely reduced LV contraction (LVEF 18%) and CPET disclosed markedly reduced functional capacity and increased ventilatory response (peak VO2 of 10.7 mL/min/kg, predicted peak VO2 of 34.7% and VE/VCO2 slope of 35.2). In this case, poor adherence to self-care such as excessive fluid intake and excessive daily activities after hospital discharge was the main cause of recurrent hospitalization for HF. Despite repeated patient education to correct his diet and lifestyle, he could not change his lifestyle behavior. However, motivational interviewing dramatically helped stabilize the patient’s condition and prevent HF re-hospitalization. Discussion In general, patients with advanced HF and reduced ejection fraction despite optimal medical therapy should be evaluated to assess their eligibility of cardiac transplantation or palliative care. Motivational interviewing might represent a new therapeutic approach for stabilizing and preventing HF through self-care behavioral changes, even in patients with advanced HF and severely reduced ejection fraction.

Tactical and psychological context of communication between a police officer and offenders.

The article reveals the features of the tactical and psychological context of communication between police officers and offenders. Сommunication processes play an important role in the activities of the National Police of Ukraine. In this regard, it is expedient to impose certain requirements on the communicative competence of the personnel of the National Police of Ukraine. The essence of the problem of professional communication of a police officer, modern approaches to the definition of «tactical and psychological context of communication» are revealed. The principles of professional training levels are characterized. Tactical and psychological context of communication is the implementation in a particular situation of a communication strategy based on mastery of techniques and knowledge of the rules of communication. Communication technique is a set of specific communication skills: speaking and listening. The essential characteristics of communication causes of conflicts are presented. However, officers spend much more time talking to complainants, witnesses, suspects, and the public at large than they do engaging in tactical encounters, although all police contacts involve some degree of proper tactics. Clearly, the relationship between the two must be understood. Emphasis is placed on the indicative and predicative process of communication. It is proved that the effective interaction of police officers with citizens is the key to ensuring an appropriate level of public safety in society. The complex of issues of content, organization and provision of ways of psychological training includes issues of its management, planning, determining the content of psychological training, organization and methods of conducting psychological training, accounting and evaluation of results achieved in psychological training, personnel, logistics and scientific providing psychological training.

Communication of Opinion leader in Commodifying Contract Marriage in Siri Marriage Village in Pasuruan

This study aims to analyze how the communication used by opinion leaders in Kalisat village gives rise to a form of commodification of contract marriage. The method in this research is using a qualitative descriptive method. Data collection was carried out by direct field observation in which researchers went directly to the field to find data in the field and carried out in-depth interview techniques that were carried out freely. The results of this study are, in the commodification process of this contract marriage there is a form of communication in which this communication is carried out face to face or face to face, namely a communication process carried out by the communicator to a communicant which is carried out directly without any help or intermediary of a media. The communication technique used by opinion leaders to invite and convince prospective brides and grooms, both men and women, is to use persuasive communication techniques. Where opinion leaders try to persuade and promise a number of advantages if they want to follow this practice, this is in accordance with the basic principles of commodification theory which changes something that initially only has use value and then turns it into something that can be sold and has a selling value in the market.

Development of Wireless Heat Variation Detection System between MCCBs and MCs within an MCC

In this study, we developed a wireless heat variation detection system that can measure the temperature difference between the molded case circuit breaker (MCCB) and magnetic contactor (MC) of the motor control center (MCC), collect data, and monitor the heat variation of the MCC connection. Thus far, we have developed a temperature controller and applied a multi-communication technique based on Bluetooth Low Energy between the repeater and temperature controller between the MCCB and MC. Furthermore, we designed the measured temperature data to be transmitted to the cloud server via a gateway. To verify the functionality and performance of the developed wireless heat variation detection system, we initially installed 1 gateway for communication with the MCC server, 4 sets of 4 types of temperature controllers in Repeater 1, 12 sets of 4 types of temperature controllers in Repeater 2, and 6 sets of 4 types of temperature controllers in Repeater 3. Then, we conducted an experiment to periodically monitor the temperature at 12 locations of the MCCB and MC terminal connections in real-time. This developed device can be applied not only to the MCC but also to the power distribution system using the MCCB and MC. This will contribute to the prevention and management of electrical fire accidents caused by heat variation that can occur because of poor contact, overcurrent, and abnormal current.
