Conceptual design of automated control systems (ACS) is an important stage in their development and creation. The miscalculations made here, as a rule, cannot be compensated in the subsequent project stages. Despite this, at the moment there is no sufficiently developed theory of conceptual design of promising ACS. As a rule, when forming the concept (control space) of a new ACS, either use a proto-type, or fundamentally new conceptual solutions are developed. The paper presents an attempt to develop a methodology for the conceptual design of an automated control system, which expands the designer’s creative capabilities, streamlining his reasoning and reducing the dimension of the synthesis problem. A template is proposed for creating a parametric concept of ACS with its subsequent detailing through the use of the categorical analysis method. The method is demonstrated on the development example of ACS concept by a group of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV). A constructive scheme of management information, including data groups and relationships between them is considered. Data groups are formed taking into account the multidimensionality of the management process, where aspects (points of view) are generated using the categorical analysis apparatus. The interpretation of 32 categorical subsets is proposed, revealing 32 aspects of the UAV groups usage. On the example of the UAV functioning aspect, concerning the fire and electronic suppression of the enemy’s air defense, performed as an element of combat support for the process of solving the main tasks, the data on the state of the UAV group was detailed. For the formed metric system, groups of information transformation procedures are defined. It is advisable to use the presented results to create adaptive polyaspect special software for ACS by a UAV group.

The article reviews the ways of insurance in railway transport, namely compulsory insurance of the civil liability of the carrier for causing damage to life, health, property of passengers and voluntary insurance of passengers on the basis of the management system for passenger transportations in the automated control system “Express”. In the case of compulsory insurance, a railway ticket for a longdistance train is a confirmation that the passenger is insured. No additional documents are needed. In the case of voluntary insurance, a passenger can purchase a voluntary insurance policy at the railway ticket office or through the website www: //rzd.ru. The ACS “Express” gives the opportunity for a passenger to issue a travel document for a long distance train and a policy of voluntary insurance against accidents in one of four insurance companies: PJSC “Rosgosstrakh”, LLC “Renaissance Insurance Group”, JSC “Insurance Company BLAGOSOSTOYANIE”, JSC “Insurance Company of the Gas Industry” (SOGAZ). At the moment each insurance company offers insurance premium of 3 par values with the relevant insurance amounts. The cost of voluntary insurance policies depends only on the sum insured and does not depend on such factors as the duration of the trip, the train category or the age of the insured. Insurance coverage is valid during the trip from the moment of announcement of boarding, but not earlier than 30 minutes before departure, and ends no later than one hour after the arrival of the insured passenger to the destination station, provided that it is located on the territory of the railway station or terminal. The insurance contract is concluded for one trip in longdistance railway transport. The information technology of voluntary insurance creates for passengers more attractive conditions, the comfort and safety of passenger transportation increases. The article provides the functional description and report examples of developed and implemented in the industrial operation software and analysis complex on the basis of the ACS “Express”, which includes automated work stations (AWS) “Insurance companies and complexes”, “Voluntary insurance” and “Inquiry on insured passengers by train”. This software and analytical complex implements tasks that ensure the formation of reference and analytical information, operational financial reporting on the sold voluntary insurance policies and monitoring of the demand indicators of insurance policies and insurance companies.

The article deals with outcomes of the conducted research, which are valuable for the Armed Forces personnel of all levels involved in the ensuring the military automated control system (MACS) operation. The article is devoted to the urgent issue of efficiency evaluation of the MACS operation. The analysis of existing methods of efficiency evaluation of the MACS operation is conducted; the approaches to the definition of the MACS operation efficiency are analyzed. It was found inconsistencies in the existing methods of efficiency evaluation of the Military Automated Control System and principles of modern Automated Control System operation based on the analysis. The substantiation of the sustainability factor (criteria) as the main factor (criteria) of the efficiency of the aviation and air defense Automated Control System (ACS) operation is conducted in the article. The usage the proposed factor to evaluate the efficiency of the MACS operation allows considering not only the network structural sustainability but also its own sustainability, taking into account the limited bandwidth of the communication system. This approach will help reduce the cost of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to lease digital streams.

Purpose. The aim of the article is to reveal the mechanism of formation of safe UAV movement in the conditions of radio attacks. Methodology. Scientists from Ternopil National Technical University named after Ivan Pulyuy have consistently developed and studied several mechanisms for the formation of safe movement of unmanned aerial vehicles in radio attacks in order to create a perfect model with which to launch UAVs in areas with high radio attack. As a result of previous work, the mechanism of formation of safe movement of UAVs in the conditions of radio attacks based on methods of increasing the stability of providing information about the route of the unmanned aerial vehicle in the use of REP and air defense systems. Results. The article reveals the mechanism of formation of safe movement of unmanned aerial vehicle in the conditions of radio attacks. Analysis of known solutions in the field of increasing the stability of the control path of unmanned aerial vehicles and electronic suppression demonstrated the relevance of the problem of forming flight routes of unmanned aerial vehicles bypassing opposing enemy areas, taking into account the use of air defense and electronic warfare. The authors emphasize that most drone control tasks are now automated due to their high complexity and versatility. An automated control system operating under the control of a human operator is used as a control factor on an unmanned aircraft. It is emphasized that the main threats to unmanned aerial vehicles in modern conditions are the possibility of their destruction by air defense systems, as well as disruption of the radio communication and control system between the control center and the UAV by electronic suppression. The need for constant tracking of UAV flight by transmitting commands from the launcher is revealed. It is also emphasized the low level of automation of the onboard control system of the unmanned aerial vehicle and the inability to make adequate decisions on information received from onboard sensors in complex situations that require constant monitoring of UAV flight by a human operator. Scientific novelty. For the first time the functional scheme of the UAV recognition mechanism in the conditions of radio attacks is developed and the mechanism of formation of safe movement of the UAV in the conditions of radio attacks which is based on three basic techniques is defined. The first method is the method of clustering the flight zones of an unmanned aerial vehicle according to the degree of control stability. Based on the second method, the authors propose a method of forming the routes of UAV flights, taking into account the location of air defense and electronic warfare. The last link is the method of assessing the stability of providing information about the route of the unmanned aerial vehicle in terms of the use of air defense and electronic warfare. Practical relevance. The results of the work can be implemented in the process of forming the safe movement of UAVs in the conditions of radio attacks. Keywords: unmanned aerial vehicle; air traffic control; space; security; flight.

The article discusses methodological issues and an approach to the construction and organization of the functioning of an intelligent control system for monitoring processes, collection and processing of biomass in biogas plants. Using the proposed system, the following tasks are solved: monitoring of biomass based on the use of space and unmanned aerial vehicles, planning harvesting operations and synthesis of routes for unmanned harvesters, managing biomass processing modes in biogas complexes. With the help of spacecraft sensors and special software, biomass volumes are determined to predict the level of loading of biogas plants with plant raw materials. In addition, at this stage, the projected economic indicators of the harvesting campaign and the profit that the agricultural company will receive from the sale of biomethane and high-quality fertilizers are determined. At the second stage, before the start of the collection of biomass, using the sensors of unmanned aerial vehicles and special software, the volumes and density of biomass in each section of the field are specified, as well as the coordinates of passive (stationary interference) in order to synthesize compromise-optimal trajectories and the speed of movement of unmanned harvesters. At the third stage, biomass is pelleted for further storage and conversion into biomethane.
