The paper discusses issues of applying space robotic systems (RSs), shows the role and place of humanoid RSs as high-tech service systems used to support activity of cosmonauts when implementing future space programs. It also considers the principles for the creation of a versatile computer-assisted humanoid RS to conduct psycho-physiological and ergonomic studies, to mature the skills of controlling various RSs using virtual reality technologies and means to monitor and control the motion and behavioral activity of an operator.

Telecommunications industry evolution shows the highest rates of transition to high-tech systems and is accompanied by a trend of deep mutual penetration of technologies - convergence. The dominant telecommunication technologies have become wireless communication systems. The widespread use of modern wireless technologies has led to the saturation of the environment with technological electromagnetic fields and the actualization of the problems of protecting the population from them. This fundamental restructuring has led to a uniform dense placement of radiating fragments of network technologies in the mudflow areas. The changed parameters of the emitted fields became the reason for the revision of the regulatory and methodological support of electromagnetic safety. A fragmented structural, functional and parametric analysis of the problem of protecting the population from the technological fields of network technologies revealed uncertainty in the interpretation of real situations, vulnerability, weakness and groundlessness of the methodological basis of sanitary-hygienic approaches. It is shown that this applies to all stages of the electromagnetic examination of the emitting fragments of network technologies. Distrust arises on the part of specialists and the population in not only the system of sanitary-hygienic control, but also the safety of modern network technologies is being called into question. Growing social tensions and radio phobia are everywhere accompanying the development of wireless communication technologies. The basis for solving almost all problems of protecting the population can be the transfer of subjective methods and means of monitoring and sanitary-hygienic control of electromagnetic fields into the field of IT.

AbstractProduct-service systems (PSSs) have attracted researchers in engineering design for the past decades. Recent advances in digital technologies have expanded the potential functionalities that PSSs could deliver and designers' repertoire of tools and techniques to make new value propositions. The key to the success of new value propositions is to achieve customer acceptance and continuous use. However, little is known about the precise routes by which customers accept and use PSSs over time and its dynamics. This conceptual study aims to provide an enhanced view of customer acceptance and continuous use of PSSs by integrating multiple theories and literature streams. In this paper, we suggest three propositions based on the key concepts found in our literature review—well-being, trust and control—, and illustrate a conceptual framework that represents the dynamics of customer acceptance and continuous use of PSSs. Based on the proposed framework, we outline further research questions that could advance our knowledge about design for continuous use of PSSs.

This paper considers notions of agency, interaction and power in business news journalism. In the first part, we present a bird’s eye view of news access theory as it is reflected in selected sociological and anthropological literature on the ethnography of news production. Next, we show how these theoretical notions can be applied to the study of press releases and particularly to the linguistic pragmatic analysis of the specific social and textual practices that surround their transformation into news reports. Drawing on selected fieldwork data collected at the business desk of a major Flemish quality newspaper, we present an innovative methodology combining newsroom ethnography and computer-assisted writing process analysis which documents how a reporter discovers a story, introduces it into the newsroom, writes and reflects on it. In doing so, we put the individual journalist’s writing practices center stage, zoom in on the specific ways in which he interacts with sources and conceptualize power in terms of his dependence on press releases. Following Beeman & Peterson (2001), we argue in favor of a view of journalism as ‘interpretive practice’ and of news production as a process of entextualization involving multiple actors who struggle over authority, ownership and control.

Industrial robots have become a key technology in production. The increasing use of various robotic systems, raises the need to enhance their compatibilit.y Nowadays, there is no technology in the industry to guarantee a standardized programming and control of different robot systems. This article presents a concept enabling the use of manufacturer-independent robot applications.

The technology of radiation-resistant CMOS VLSI is based on industrial IC technology. The design uses feedback circuits and guard rings to compensate for single effects of cosmic particles (SEE). In most critical cases, these influences in digital circuits lead to single faults (SEU), which temporarily disrupt the state of memory cells, to latching (SEL), and in the long term to a catastrophic change of state. Various space programs confirm great prospects for their use in future space structures. The article discusses the effects of using radiation-resistant CMOS technology, technology based on a silicon-on-sapphire structure, CMOS technology on an insulating substrate taking into account typical characteristics, SIMOX-SOI technology, which consists in separation by implantation of oxygen ions. In new designs of circuits, more advanced algorithms should be implemented for the future.

Electronic Data Processing (EDP) is the use of automated methods for commercial data processing. As part of information technology, EDP performs repeated data processing of similar data with relatively simple forms of processing. Standar Profesional Akuntan Publik (SPAP) also emphasizes the need for auditor's understanding in examining a computer-based accounting system. This technique in Indonesian is known as Teknik Audit Berbantuan Komputer (TABK) or Computer Assisted Audit Techniques (CAATs) set forth in PSA No. 59 on Computer Assisted Auditing Techniques (SA Section 327). The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method by collecting and analyzing data and then drawing conclusions. The results obtained show that young auditors are more adaptable to the development of information technology, especially in conducting computerized internal audit and control. Impacts given in the audit process include increasing independence for internal auditors, providing accuracy and speed in managing data, and producing output from more accurate audit data processing. Impact on internal controls is to make the auditor perform internal control procedures after applying the EDP in the audit process to minimize the possibility of process errors, secure the program and data, and control the audit process to ensure that the audit has been properly implemented. The audit process using EDP is faced with several risks such as errors in data processing caused by human error, data loss caused by computer problems, and the computer used is exposed to the virus. Keywords : Analysis, Electronic Data Processing, Internal Audit
