As a result, 27% of patients choose to stop the therapy cycle so that it affects their life expectancy. Main Purpose: Describe various interventions to reduce the successful anticipatory nausea of cancer patients who support chemotherapy. Methodology: Basic electronic transmission data from EBSCO, Springer PubMed, Science Direct and ProQuest with keywords: intervention, nausea, vomiting, anticipatory, cancer and chemotherapy. The inclusion criteria in this study were articles published in 2009 - 2019, available in full text, articles using English, with human subjects, RCT designs. Netted articles were 7 experimental research articles which were then analyzed using PRISMA without meta-analysis. Results: A total of 7 articles discussed interventions to reduce anticipatory nausea for cancer patients who supported chemotherapy. Some studies in the intervention group have a positive effect in reducing nausea and vomiting. One behavioral care article (p<0,05), one yoga program article (p<0.01), two progressive muscle relaxation articles (p<0,05), one acupressure article (p<0,05), two hypnotherapy articles (p<0,05). Conclusion: Interventions in hypnotherapy, progressive muscle relaxation, yoga, acupressure and behavioral treatment are sexual anticipatory reduction techniques involving cancer patients who experience chemotherapy. Keywords: intervention; anticipatory nausea; cancer; chemotherapy.

Myalgia can be occured by side effect of chemotherapy. The purpose of this study was to identify the effect of PMR against myalgia in lung cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy. This study design was a quasi experiment, used pre and post test with control group. Samples were 32 patients, recruited by consecutive sampling. Measuring pain assessment used numeric rating scale. The intervention group had been provided PMR fifteen minutes twice a day for five days post chemotherapy. The results showed significantly different reduction of pain intensity before and after providing PMR in the intervention group and control group as well (p value = 0,001). There was a significantly different reduction of myalgia intensity between both group after giving intervention with mean difference 0,81 (p value = 0,001). It can be concluded that PMR can reduce myalgia in lung cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy. Suggestion, PMR becomes one of the complementary therapies to overcome myalgia

Anticipatory nausea and vomiting (ANV) is associated with a significant reduction in the quality of life for many chemotherapy patients. The use of 5-hydroxytryptamine type 3 receptor antagonists provides some relief for chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting, but does not seem to control ANV. Nonpharmacologic approaches, which include behavioral interventions, may provide the greatest promise in relieving symptoms. Little evidence supports the use of complementary and alternative methods, such as acupuncture and acupressure, in relieving ANV. Behavioral interventions, especially progressive muscle relaxation training and systematic desensitization, should be considered important methods for preventing and treating ANV.

Fatigue is a widespread clinical complaint among adults with type 2 diabetes. Fluctuating glucose levels can cause fatigue. Several factors are associated with fatigue in diabetic patients, including physiological factors such as hypoglycemia or hyperglycemia, psychological factors such as depression associated with diabetes. Progressive muscle relaxation is a procedure to get relaxation in the muscles through two steps, namely by applying tension to a muscle group and stopping the tension then focusing on how the muscle relaxes, feeling the sensation of relaxation and fatigue is reduced. The aim of this study was to identify the effect of progressive muscle relaxation on fatigue symptoms in type II DM clients in 15 control groups and 15 intervention groups. The research method used a quasi-experimental design with a pretest-posttest control group design approach, consisting of one treatment (in the intervention group) and a control group. Data analysis was performed using univariate and bivariate analysis using t-independent and t-dependent tests. Wilcoxon test results in the intervention group and the control group showed a significant p-value of 0.002 (<0.05), meaning that there was a significant difference in fatigue symptoms in the intervention group before and after the intervention. This shows that there was a decrease in fatigue symptoms in the intervention group before and after combination OHO therapy and progressive muscle relaxation exercises (previously the average respondent in the intervention group experienced symptoms of severe fatigue, after intervention, the average value of fatigue symptoms turned into mild fatigue ). Conclusion: Progressive muscle relaxation combined with OHO therapy can reduce symptoms of fatigue compared to only OHO therapy.

ABSTRACT Objective: to address the spiritual dimension and nursing in the light of interventions in the presence or risk of spiritual distress in cancer patients. Method: this is a reflection on the possible contributions of nursing interventions to solve the abovementioned diagnoses, particularly those resulting from practical application results. Results: nursing has interventions at its disposal for these two diagnoses, included in the Nursing Interventions Classification (NIC) and in the International Classification for Nursing Practice (ICNP®). The interventions with the best evidence level for application in cancer patients are: music therapy, guided imaging, therapeutic touch, progressive muscle relaxation, distant intercessory prayer, reminiscence therapy, affective support group and meditation. Conclusion: in view of the representativeness of the cancer patient population, as well as the importance of studies on spiritual distress problems, it is relevant to discuss spirituality in nursing, identifying interventions nurses can apply to cancer patients in clinical practice. Descriptors: nursing, spirituality, distress.
