The characteristics and audience of professional mobile radio and critical communication networks are reviewed. The analysis of professional mobile radio technologies used in Russia and the prospects for the development of this segment of the telecommunications market is carried out, as well as its volume is estimated in the five-year perspective. It is shown that McWiLL broadband professional radio communication technology not only solves the urgent problems associated with the modernization of morally and physically obsolete systems of departmental and corporate trunking communications, but also opens up new opportunities for the growth of the market for critical information transmission services.

Introduction/purpose: Since the end of 1995, when TETRA MoU promoted the new TETRA Standard within ETSI, tentatively called TETRA 1, it quickly began to be used, almost exclusively, for the construction of Functional UHF digital trunking systems for mobile radio communications. Methods: A description of the relevant issues from the TETRA 1 technology standards and an analysis of existing specifications, with a more detailed presentation of the radio interface. Results: This article highlights the numerous advantages that radio systems based on the TETRA Standard have in relation to the Functional systems of analog trunking of mobile radio communications, and gives an overview of the basic package of Specifications for system implementation based on the TETRA Standard 1. It describes the interfaces used in the system with a special reference to the description of the radio interface, organized by TDMA, and the method of integration of voice and data transmission. The organization and the basic elements of the TETRA network infrastructure are presented as well as those of the final user's equipment, followed by the analysis of possible practical architectures of mobile radio communication networks based on that standard. Conclusion: After the general descriptions of technology, organization, and architecture, the following are presented: the basic concept of the organization of TETRA 1 network use, the general principle of organization of mobile participants' connections and the basic elements of the TETRA network as well as the architecture and topology of the TETRA 1 network construction.

Base station (BS) is a terminal device of a radio communication network, while railway radio communications play an important role in ensuring safety of passenger and cargo transportation.A proposed method for calculating the performance of base stations in railway digital radio communication networks is intended to calculate for the BS the probabilities of being in certain state.BS was decomposed and such functional elements as circuit groups and a radio frequency path were identified, as well as the central module ensuring the exchange of information with elements of this BS and with other BSs. A detailed study of each element has increased accuracy of the proposed method. Following the Markov model, BS is presented as a system in which all possible states are considered. Models for BS with two and three circuit groups have been constructed. The parameters of each functional element of the model can be obtained through observation over a certain period. The solution of the system of equations for each of the models presented in the article will allow obtaining the values of the system being in a certain state. The obtained characteristics can be used to calculate the reliability of the entire radio communication network, and then to assess quality of service provided to the users of this network. Conclusions are made about the possibilities of using the obtained models when designing new railway communication networks and when calculating quality indices of existing ones. The proposed models can be applied not only to railway radio communication networks but also to mobile communication networks of commercial operators.

Currently, centrally reserved access to the medium in the digital radio communication networks of the IEEE 802.11 family standards is an alternative to random multiple access to the environment such as CSMA/CA and is mainly used in the transmission voice and video messages in real time. Centrally reserved access to the environment determines the scope of interest in it from attackers. However, the assessment of effectiveness of centrally reserved access to the environment under the conditions of potentially possible destructive impacts was not carried out and therefore it is impossible to assess the contribution of such impacts to the decrease in the effectiveness of such access. Also, the stage establishing of centrally reserved access to the environment was not previously taken into account. Analytical model development of centrally reserved access to the environment under the conditions of destructive influences in digital radio communication networks of the IEEE 802.11 family standards. A mathematical model of centrally reserved access to the environment has been developed, taking into account not only the stage of its functioning, but also the stage of formation under the conditions of destructive influences by the attacker. Moreover, in the model the stage of establishing centrally reserved access to the medium displays a sequential relationship of such access, synchronization elements in digital radio communication networks and random multiple access to the medium of the CSMA/CA type. It was established that collisions in the data transmission channel caused by destructive influences can eliminate centrally reserved access to the medium even at the stage of its establishment. The model is applicable in the design of digital radio communication networks of the IEEE 802.11 family of standards, the optimization of such networks of the operation, and the detection of potential destructive effects by an attacker.

Information Communication Technology (ICT) has revolutionized the world communication order. People can be informed in more effective, efficient and convenient ways. Access to media has percolated to the grassroots. In spite of all such remarkable developments, whether ICT facilitates Science communication is a billion dollar question. Though information is freely and widely available by virtue of ICT, yet, there are areas where Science communication through ICT still needs to be developed to deliver critical information to the needy. Objectives: The objectives of the study are to find out: whether patients and care givers have perception of their information needs? What sources of information they usually consult? What type of channels/media they possess to access the information? What sources the patients and care givers prefer to consult? Whether in the opinion of the patients and their care givers, the ICTs are effective in delivering the critical information. Methodology: An exploratory survey was conducted. A semi-structured interview was employed to collect data from a group of 188 patients and care givers in the hospitals and clinics in Hyderabad (India). Results and conclusion: The study determined the patients’ and care givers’ preferences for technologies in keeping informed. It also brought to light the limitations and usefulness of ICTs in Science communication in general and medical information in particular.

Relevance. Vegetable growing is a traditional sector of agriculture in Azerbaijan. The republic has all the conditions for its development, both natural and socio-economic. Materials and methods. The aim of the research was to analyze the current state of vegetable growing in the republic, to identify the strengths and weaknesses of the industry, to determine the terms of support for producers from the state and branch science. Results. The gross harvest of vegetables has been steadily growing in the last decades, and by 2019 amounted to 1715 thousand tons. The yield of vegetables also increased during this period from 14, 7 to 21.9 t / ha. In door production area is approximately 4800 ha. The production of greenhouse vegetables is focused on the Russian market. The bottleneck in the industry is vegetable seed production, a market with a capacity of almost 20 million euros is occupied by foreign companies. At the same time, the agricultural producers get state support in the form of subsidies and soft loans and a full tax exemption. Industry science is also developing: the Research Institute of Vegetable Production has been reconstructed and fully equipped, special training organized for vegetable growers in the Azerbaijan State Agrarian University. Further development of the industry continues through the intensification and biologization of production, expanding the range and improving product quality.

The main problem of the Russian market of specialized food products (SFP) is the lack of reliably confirmed data on their efficacy. Most likely, due to the duration and high cost of clinical trials, this situation will continue in the foreseeable future. However, it seems that the current state of science makes it possible to propose new approaches to confirming the SFP effectiveness, including at the level of individual consumption.
