Multimedia in learning could make the learning atmosphere more attractive for student attention and student interactions. The objectives of this research were: (1) describe the use of multimedia learning by elementary school teachers in Kendari City; (2) analyze the comparison of the use of multimedia learning in terms of school accreditation by the teacher at elementary school in Kendari City; (3) analyze aspects of obstacles in the use of multimedia learning for elementary school teachers in Kendari City. This research used mixed methods with a sequential exploratory strategy held at the Kendari City Elementary School. The school sample was determined using the random cluster sampling technique selecting 3 schools from 11 sub-districts. Each sub-district took 2 accredited A and non-A public schools and 1 accredited private school so that the total respondents were 66 people. Research data was collected through observation forms and interviews. The results of this research showed that: (1) multimedia learning use by primary school teachers in Kendari City was still good; (2) there was a meaningful comparison of the use of multimedia learning by elementary school teachers in Kendari City in terms of school accreditation; (3) aspects of barriers to the use of multimedia learning by primary school teachers in Kendari City include: (a) teachers 'lack competence in IT, (b) teachers' misconceptions about learning multimedia, (c) the lack of support structures and infrastructures, (d)) the lack of training on multimedia learning means, (e) the lack of involvement of the educational software used by teachers to support learning activities.

Information literacy is a skill needed to search, analyze and utilize information. So that information literacy is a very important ability that is owned by a person, especially in the world of education, in this case elementary school teachers because at this time all people are faced with various types of information resources that are developing very rapidly, but not necessarily all the information that is available and created can be trusted and in accordance with the information needs of information seekers. Based on direct observations made by the team proposing the Community Partnership Program (PKM) in partner primary schools found data and information that the information literacy skills of elementary school teachers are still below the standards of the Association of College and Research Libraries (ACRL). This information literacy standard lists a number of abilities used in determining a person's ability to understandinformation. Seeing the problem of information literacy ability of partner elementary school teachers is still below the ACRL standard, the proposer team will utilize multimedia as one solution to improve information literacy skills of partner primary school teachers. The advantage of using multimedia the most prominent is interactivity which means that this media inherently forces users to interact with the material. This interaction varies from the simplest to the complex. This program will be implemented for elementary school teachers in Aceh Besar District. The objectives of this program are (1) through this mentoring activity it is believed that it can increase the repertoire of knowledge of primary school teachers regarding information literacy capacity building programs, (2) Through mentoring activities will improve elementary school teacher information literacy skills based on the standards of the Association of College and Research Libraries (ACRL) through multimedia utilization. (3) Develop the skills of elementary school teachers in designing simple information literacy media that are easy to make and applicable to the learning presented.   Abstrak Literasi informasi merupakan suatu keterampilan yang diperlukan untuk mencari, menganalisis dan memanfaatkan informasi. Sehingga literasi informasi merupakan kemampuan yang sangat penting dimiliki seseorang terutama pada dunia pendidikan, dalam hal ini guru sekolah dasar karena pada saat ini semua orang dihadapkan dengan berbagai jenis sumber informasi yang berkembang sangat pesat, namun belum tentu semua informasi yang ada dan diciptakan tersebut dapat dipercaya dan sesuai dengan kebutuhan informasi para pencari informasi. Berdasarkan observasi secara langsung yang dilakukan oleh tim pengusul Program Kemitraan Masyarakat (PKM) pada sekolah dasar mitra ditemukan data dan informasi bahwa kemampuan literasi informasi guru sekolah dasar masih dibawah standar Association Of College and Research Libraries (ACRL). Standar literasi informasi ini berisi daftar sejumlah kemampuan yang digunakan dalam menentukan kemampuan seseorang dalam memahami informasi. Melihat permasalahan kemampuan literasi informasi guru sekolah dasar mitra masih dibawah standar ACRL tersebut, maka tim pengusul akan memanfaatkan multimedia sebagai salah satu solusi untuk meningkatkan kemampuan literasi informasi guru sekolah dasar mitra. Keunggulan dari pemanfaatan multimedia yang paling menonjol adalah interaktivitas yang artinya media ini secara inheren memaksa pengguna untuk berinteraksi dengan materi. Interaksi ini bervariasi dari yang paling sederhana hingga yang kompleks. Program ini akan dilaksanakan pada guru sekolah dasar di Kabupaten Aceh Besar. Adapun tujuan dari program ini adalah (1) Melalui kegiatan pendampingan ini diyakni dapat menambah khasanah pengetahuan guru sekolah dasar mengenai program peningkatan kemampuan literasi informasi, (2) Melalui kegiatan pendampingan akan meningkatkan kemampuan literasi informasi guru sekolah dasar berdasarkan standar Association of College and Research Libraries (ACRL) melalui pemanfaatan multimedia. (3) Mengembangkan keterampilan guru sekolah dasar dalam mendesain media literasi infromasi sederhana yang mudah dibuat dan aplikatif dengan pembelajaran yang disajikan. <em>The purpose of this service is to train primary school teachers in Surakarta city to have the ability to optimize the role of a teacher to involve parents and the community in the implementation of learning so that specifically this activity aims to train teachers to have the ability to compile contact books and worksheets. The method used in this service begins the Workshop, Practices, and Implementation. In conducting this training, subjects were asked to work on tests related to the preparation of connection books and worksheets for elementary school teachers. Analysis of the data used is pre-test and post-test. The results of this activity were an increase in teacher's knowledge and understanding of the preparation of connection books and worksheets</em>

The purpose of this article is to find out the perceptions of primary school teachers on the use of Swishmax applications for the development of instructional media. Teachers' perceptions of the use of Swishmax applications for the development of instructional media are closely related to student learning achievement. Learning media generated with Swishmax applications that match the students' wishes will keep them motivated in learning. This article analyzes the data done descriptively. The data obtained in this article comes from questionnaire data and unstructured interview data. The result of this article is the perception of Swishmax's use for the development of instructional media by elementary school teachers in positive category. The purpose of the desired activity is to introduce ways of using and making reading media and the application of lead reading strategies for elementary school teachers in Kabupaten Bantaeng because most primary school teachers have difficulty in making media read and implementing appropriate strategies for students regarding reading. This is due to the lack of media availability and how to use it is not equipped. The method used in the service is the delivery of material in lectures and demonstrations, the practice of making teaching aids by the participants, and the practice of using the teaching aids by groups of participants. The product produced during service is read media.

This study aims to: (1) determine the extent to which the ability padagogik competence, and (2) labor discipline, for primary teachers in Pundong, Bantul. The entire study population of primary school teachers who already bersertikat educators in Pundong, Bantul, until 2012, of which there are 103 people. The research subject is determined based on the amount that is 25% of the members of the population, ie 30 persons (quota sampling), and determined by the draw of the names of elementary school teachers who received a certificate of education (random sampling). Methods of data collection using the guided interview techniques, to determine the understanding of elementary school teachers to implement pedagogical competence and extent of learning. To get the work discipline of data collection techniques used in the work of the observation of the implementation of primary school teachers. Researchers and research instruments made tested on primary school teachers in the district Bambanglipuro, Bantul many as 12 people. The validity of the instrument using content validity (content validity) and reliability of the instrument using a product moment, corrected Zumun Spearman - Brown. Both proved to be a reliable research instrument (r xy = 0.90)> rtabel (N = 12) for pedagogical instrument, and 0.759> rtabel 5% = 0.576). So the instrument can be used for data collection, because it was proven realibel. Data were analyzed using quantitative methods percentage. The results of the data analysis for variable pedagogic work well (70%), whereas for work discipline variables proved to be very good (83%). Suggested further enhanced awareness of elementary school teachers who are already certified educators, to be grateful for the teachers welfare state, through capacity building pedagogical competence and work discipline, so as to improve the quality of learning and lead to the improvement of education quality.

The arrival of foreign cultures due to globalization will be able to fade the culture of local communities if there is no selection process. Selection process can be done if a nation has a strong character foundation The 2013 curriculum as a reference for education in Indonesia has been emphasizing eighteen characters derived from local wisdom that need to be integrated in the teaching and learning process. The current study intended to explore the believe of primary school teachers on integrating Balinese local value called Tri Hita Karana in teaching character education. This study was a survey study followed by 94 elementary school teachers. The results show that elementary school teachers in Buleleng, Bali are aware of the significances of inserting the values of Tri Hita Karana in the learning process, they believe that the Tri Hita Karana concept is very much in accordance with the values of character education, and the integration of Tri Hita Karana values into the teaching and learning process will strengthen the students’ character and national identity.

<p><strong>Objective: </strong>To<strong> </strong>explore the barriers encountered by primary school teachers, to implementing oral health education in their settings. <strong>Material and methods:</strong> A semi-structured questionnaire was answered by a sample of 89 primary schoolteachers aged 18 to 65 years working in primary public schools in Indaiatuba, SP, Brazil. The data were quantitatively  analyzed by means of the Discourse of the Collective Subject (DCS), which is based on a theoretical framework of Social Representations Theory. <strong>Results</strong><em>:</em> The majority of teachers said they were teaching their students some oral health content. However, they reported difficulties in teaching oral health content in school, such as: the lack of material and/or appropriate activities to teach the subject of oral health properly; children do not receive oral health education at home and/or it is not encouraged by their families; students do not place any value on oral health and/or do not follow guidance provided. Teachers also expressed the need for partnerships with dental schools to help them implement oral health projects in primary schools. <strong>Conclusions: </strong>The results emphasize the need for health and educational sectors support primary school teachers in the implementation and maintenance of oral health education programs in schools.</p>

The problem of learning in primary schools is still prevalent in Melawi Regency is the image of teaching teachers who are still not integrated and cultivate the values contained in Catur Gatra (Pancasila, Teacher Hymn, Teacher Competence and Professionalism). Basically, this gatra catur is a unity of noble devotion. To practice and practice it requires a change of mindset - the teacher changes the paradigm of traditional teaching patterns to the mindset and act of educating contemporaries called change "teaching to learning". The purpose of this dissemination is to ground and practice catur gatra eka dharma teachers in Melawi. The method used is lecture, question and answer and simulation. Participants of the principals' dissemination activities, elementary school teachers, MI as many as 427 people, consisting of 225 women and 2002 men. The result of the questionnaire of dissemination activities distributed by the Committee Chairman is (1) the participants are very enthusiastic about the elimination of Catur Gatra (proven overflow of participants/teachers who previously prepared only 300 seats turned out to increase to 427) (2) teachers feel new insights about Chatur Gatra Eka Dharma as a form of noble devotion; (3) Through the descriptions of Catur Gatra it is expected that teachers can develop character education in Primary School / Madrasah Ibtida'iyah.

The relevance of the article is determined by the need for primary school teachers to develop a model for the formation of educational actions of self-control in younger students in the lessons of the world and its justification. The purpose of the work is to develop and test the model we have created for the formation of educational self-control actions in the lessons of the surrounding world in elementary school and in highlighting its components. Sources of study were academic work in the field of philosophy and methodology of psychological and pedagogical research, theses of modern pedagogy and psychology affecting the social conditioning of personality formation in activities; works of domestic and foreign scientific researchers on the structure, development and conditions for the development of abilities and creativity. This article talks about the formation of educational actions of self-control in elementary school students in the framework of the subject "The World Outside" on the basis of a methodology that includes the following structural components: methodological, goal-oriented, substantive, organizational-active, and productive-evaluative. The developed model for the formation of educational actions of self-control can be included in the educational process of primary schools in order to increase the effectiveness of primary school teachers.

AbstractIn this contribution we describe an extended experiment to bring constructionist approaches to public schools in Bologna. Specifically, we focus on our latest project called Officina degli Errori, which is an extended teacher training program for primary school teachers based on tinkering. We highlight our motivation, the structure of Officina degli Errori and the lessons learned co-designing the activities and implementing them in the reality of public schools in Bologna. We also interviewed teachers to understand the critical issues affecting implementation of constructionist approaches in public primary schools.
