Principal leadership plays an important role in planning, developing, encouraging, supervising and evaluating schools so that a goal is achieved effectively, efficiently in improving the quality of schools. The purpose of the study was to determine the principal's leadership in the preparation, 1) quality improvement school principal's rules and regulations, 2) quality improvement principal program, 3) the principal's strategy for improving school quality and, 4) barriers to school principals in improving school quality at SD Negeri Alue Bata and SD Negeri Ujong Patihah, Nagan Raya Regency. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data collection was obtained through interviews, observation and documentation. The subjects of the study were the principal, deputy principal, teacher, superintendent and head of school accreditation. The results of the study found that 1) the rules of discipline of the principal were prepared by the principal with the approval of educators and educational personnel who delivered during the meeting, 2) the principal's program in the form of an annual work program, a semester work program whose preparation is assisted by a teacher, an end-of-semester extracurricular program, 2) The principal's strategy is to hold teacher meetings and student guardian meetings, complete learning books, procurement of new buildings, selection of new students and transfer students. Cooperation with stakeholders in preparation for accreditation, discipline in school regulations, holding technology training for teachers, involving teachers in the KKG, providing equipment and materials in overcoming the corona disease outbreak. Strategic planning in the form of significant and time, 3) barriers to school principals applied, lack of teacher discipline in collecting learning tools, lack of interest in reading students in the library, some teachers did not join in preparing for accreditation due to lack of concern and sense of responsibility for school progress. Abstrak Kepemimpinan kepala sekolah berperan penting dalam menyusun perencanaan, mengembangkan, mendorong, mengawasi dan mengevaluasi sekolah sehingga tercapai suatu tujuan secara efektif, efisien dalam meningkatkan mutu sekolah. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dalam penyusunan, 1) peraturan tata tertib kepala sekolah peningkatan mutu, 2) program kepala sekolah peningkatan mutu, 3) strategi kepala sekolah peningkatan mutu sekolah, dan 4) hambatan kepala sekolah peningkatan mutu sekolah di SD Negeri Alue Bata dan SD Negeri Ujong Patihah Kabupaten Nagan Raya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Pengumpulan data di peroleh melalui wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian adalah kepala sekolah,wakil kepala sekolah,guru, pengawas dan kepala bidang pengakreditasian sekolah. Hasil penelitian di temukan, yaitu 1) peraturan tata tertib kepala sekolah disusun oleh kepala sekolah atas persetujuan pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan yang sampaikan saat rapat, 2) program kepala berupan program kerja tahunan, program kerja semester yang penyusunannya dibantu oleh guru, program ekstrakurikuler akhir semester, 3) Strategi kepala sekolah yang di terapkan mengadakan rapat guru dan rapat wali murid, melengkapi buku pembelajaran, pengadaan gedung baru, penyeleksian murid baru dan murid pindahan. Kerja sama dengan stakeholder dalam persiapan akreditasi, kedisplinan terhadap peraturan sekolah, mengadakan pelatihan tekhnologi untuk guru, mengikut sertakan guru mengikuti KKG, menyediakan peralatan dan bahan dalam mengatasi wabah penyakit corona. Perencanaan strategi berupa signifikan dan time, 4) hambatan kepala sekolah yang di terapkan kurangnya kedisipinan guru dalam mengumpulkan perangkat pebelajaran, kurang minat membaca siswa di perpustakaan, beberapa guru tidak ikut bergabung dalam mempersiapkan akreditasi karena kurangnya kepedulian dan rasa tanggung jawab terhadap kemajuan sekolah. This research aims to discover about how the use of nature of science model effects science learning. The research method used was an experimental method with one group pretest posttest design. The data obtained were analyzed using SPSS 20 software with t-dependent sample t-test. Based on the results of the analysis, obtained a significance value of 0.00, this value is smaller than the value of α = 0.05. This means that there are differences, applying the learning model of nature of science, science learning is also better and can increase the understanding of the nature of science indirectly. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran Nature of Science terhadap pembelajaran sains. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen dengan desain one group pretest posttest. Data yang telah diperoleh, dianalisis dengan mengunakan software SPSS 20 dengan uji t- dependent sampel t-test. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, diperoleh nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,00, nilai ini lebih kecil dari nilai α = 0,05. Hal ini berarti terdapat perbedaaan, dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran nature of science maka berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap pembelajaran sains. Entrepreneur competence of a school principal is necessary in creating entrepreneurial culture in the school. Based on thid theory, this research was conducted to find out the imlementation of entrepreneur competence of the school principal in creating entrepreneurial culture in Islamic Senior High School (MAN) Model of Banda Aceh. The research was conducting using a qalitative descriptive approach. The data were collected through interviews, observation, and documentation study. Teh research subjects were the principal, vice principal, teachers, and students of MAN Model of Banda Aceh. The result indicate that (1) The only program relate to entrepreneurship created by the principal was a school subject, namely Prakarya dan Kewirausahaan (Handcrafting and Entrepreneurship) that has produce many works: (2) The implementation of entrepreneurship programs is carried out through subjects run by the teacher, including theories and practices; and (3) The obstacles encountered by the principal in creating entrepreneurial culture in the school were associated with luck of human resources, facilities, and time devote to develop the skills. Abstrak Kompetensi kewirausahaan kepala sekolah memiliki peranan penting dalam membangun budaya wirausaha di sekolah. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan tentang implementasi kompetensi kewirausahaan kepala sekolah dalam membangun budaya wirausaha di MAN Model Banda Aceh. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara dan studi dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah kepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah, guru dan siswa di MAN Model Banda Aceh. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Program kewirausahaan oleh kepala sekolah dilakukan melalui berbasis mata pelajaran yaitu prakarya dan kewirausahaan, dari mata pelajaran tersebut menghasilkan berbagai macam karya; (2) Pelaksanaan program kewirausahaan dilakukan melalui mata pelajaran yang dijalankan oleh guru, terdiri dari teori dan praktik; dan (3) Hambatan dalam penerapan program kewirausahaan di sekolah yaitu sumber daya manusia yang belum mumpuni, fasilitas dan terbatasnya waktu untuk mengembangkan skill.  Kata Kunci: Kompetensi Kewirausahaan dan Budaya Wirausaha

This research was conducted with the aim to find out whether there was an influence of competence and work culture on the restoration of teacher work at the Public Middle School in Jati Asih Sub-District, Bekasi City. The unit of analysis is the teachers of the Public Middle School in Jati Asih, Bekasi City. The total population of teachers in the Bekasi Middle School of Kec Jati Asih is 290. The sample in this study was 80 teachers who were taken using simple random sampling which was done by random selection. Determination of the number of teachers who became the object of research was determined using sample technique formula from Slovin. correlation between competency and work culture 0.677. The correlation between competence and work performance is 0.628. The correlation between work culture and work performance is 0.572. The findings of this study are (1) Competence has a direct and positive effect on work performance. This shows that increasing competence can lead to an increase in teacher work performance; (2) Work culture has a direct positive effect on teacher work performance. This means that the strength of the work culture has resulted in high Keja achievements; (3) Competence has a direct positive effect on work culture. This means that the high level of competence has resulted in the strengthening of the work culture of public junior high school teachers in Jati Asih Sub-district, Bekasi City. Abstrak Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui adakah pengaruh kompetensi dan budaya kerja terhadap restasi kerja guru di SMP Negeri di Kec Jati Asih Kota Bekasi. Adapun unit analisis adalah guru-guru SMP Negeri kec Jati Asih Kota Bekasi. Total populasi dari guru di sekolah SMP Negeri Kec Jati Asih Kota Bekasi sebanyak 290. Sampel dalam penelitian ini 80 guru yang diambil dengan menggunakan teknik acak sederhana atau simple random sampling yang dilakukan dengan cara pemilihan acak. Penentuan jumlah guru yang menjadi objek penelitian ditentukan dengan menggunakan rumus teknik sampel dari Slovin. korelasi antara kompetensi dengan budaya kerja 0,677. Korelasi antara kompetensi dengan prestasi kerja sebesar 0,628. Korelasi antara Budaya kerja dengan prestasi kerja sebesar 0,572. Temuan dari penelitian ini adalah (1) Kompetensi berpengaruh secara langsung positip terhadap prestasi kerja. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa peningkatan kompetensi dapat mengakibatkan peningkatan prestasi kerja guru; (2) Budaya kerja berpengaruh secara langsung positif terhadap prestasi kerj guru. Artinya, kuatnya budaya kerja mengakibatkan tingginya Prestasi Keja; (3) Kompetensi berpengaruh secara langsung positif terhadap budaya kerja. Hal ini berarti bahwa tingginya kompetensi mengakibatkan semakin kuatnya budaya kerja guru SMP Negeri di Kec Jati Asih Kota Bekasi. Kata Kunci: Prestasi Kerja, Kompetensi, Dan Budaya Kerja

Learning at this time focuses on students in achieving learning objectives. One of the important skills to develop is communication skills. Communication is an important thing in everyday life. This study aims to determine that learning with the guided inquiry model can develop students' communication skills. This research uses Pre-experimental Designs by using One-Shot Case Study design. Data collection techniques in this study using observation and documentation techniques. Data analysis in this study used the normality test with Shapiro Wilk and the t-test paired samples test difference test. The results of the analysis show that the data is normally distributed with the value of Significant in observation 1 of 0.143 and the value of Significant in observation 2 of 0.128. The correlation coefficient value is 0.484 with the value of Sig. of 0.031. Because the value of Significant 0.031 < 0.05, it can be said that there is a relationship between observation 1 and observation 2. It is known that the value of tcount = 9,151 and the value of ttable = 2,093, meaning that the value of ttable = 2,093 < tcount value = 9,151 Ha is accepted. It can be concluded that there is a significant influence on the guided inquiry learning model on students' communication skills. Abstrak Pembelajaran pada saat ini berfokus kepada siswa dalam mencapai tujuan pembelajaran. Salah satu keterampilan yang penting untuk dikembangkan adalah keterampilan komunikasi. Komunikasi merupakan hal penting dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bahwa pembelajaran dengan model inkuiri terbimbing (Guided Inquiry) dapat mengembangkan keterampilan komunikasi siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan desain Pre-experimental Designs dengan menggunakan desain One-Shot Case Study. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik observasi dan dokumentasi. Analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan uji normalitas dengan Shapiro wilk dan uji beda t test paired samples test. Hasil analisis menunjukkan data terdistribusi normal dengan nilai Signifikan pada observasi 1 sebesar 0,143 dan nilai Signifikan pada observasi 2 sebesar 0,128. Nilai koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,484 dengan nilai Signifikan sebesar 0,031. Karena nilai Signifikan 0,031 < 0,05, maka dapat dikatakan bahwa ada hubungan antara observasi 1 dan observasi 2. Diketahui nilai thitung =9,151 dan nilai ttabel = 2,093, berarti nilai ttabel = 2,093 < nilai thitung = 9,151 Ha diterima. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan pada model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing (guided inquiry) terhadap keterampilan komunikasi siswa. This study aims to determine whether there is an increase in students' critical thinking skills after the implementation of the PBL (Problem Based Learning) Learning Model Assisted by Video Media in the class X sociology subject at MA Sarji Ar-Rasyid. The method used is Classroom Action Research using a spiral schema model from Hopkins using four phases, namely planning, action, observation, reflection. Methods of collecting data using observation methods, interview methods, documentation methods and test methods. The data analysis technique in this study used qualitative data analysis and descriptive statistical data analysis. The results of the study show that there is an increase in students' critical thinking skills after the implementation of this learning model, this is evidenced by the acquisition of the percentage of critical thinking indicators in the 1st cycle of the 1st meeting by 34% (Low) and 43% (Low) at the 2nd meeting. about 9%. And in the second cycle of the 1st meeting, the percentage of critical thinking indicators increased by 73% (Medium) and 84% (High) at the 2nd meeting or increased by 11% in the High category. Abstrak Penelitian ini mempunyai tujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ada peningkatan kemampuan berfikir kritis peserta didik setelah diterapkan Model Pembelajaran PBL (Problem Based Learning) Berbantuan Media Video pada mata pelajaran sosiologi kelas X di MA Sarji Ar-Rasyid. Metode yang digunakan yaitu Penelitian Tindakan Kelas dengan menggunakan model skema spiral dari Hopkins dengan menggunakan empat fase yaitu perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, refleksi. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan metode observasi, metode wawancara, metode dokumentasi dan metode tes. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis data kualitatif dan analisis data statistik deskriptif. Hasil penilitian menunjukkan bahwa ada peningkatan kemampuan berfikir kritis peserta didik setelah diterapkannya model pembelajaran ini, hal ini dibuktikan dengan perolehan persentase indikator berfikir kritis pada siklus 1 pertemuan ke-1 sebesar 34%(Rendah) dan 43% (Rendah) pada pertemuan ke 2 meningkat sekitar 9%. Dan pada siklus 2 pertemuan ke-1 persentase indikator berfikir kritis meningkat sebesar 73% (Sedang) dan 84% (Tinggi) pada pertemuan ke-2 atau mengalami peningkatan sebesar 11% dengan kategori Tinggi. The management of the School Literacy Movement is a process of planning, organizing, motivating, supervising, evaluating, and empowering all of the school resources to reach the goal of the literacy movement program effectively and efficiently. The aims of this research were to find out: (1) the planning of the school literacy movement program; (2) the implementation of the school literacy movement program; (3) the evaluation of the implementation of the school literacy movement program. This research used a qualitative approach and a descriptive method. The subjects of this research were the school principal, school committee, teachers, the head of the school library, and students in Cluster I of Elementary School Indrapuri of Aceh Besar Regency. The data were collected by using observation, interview, and documentation study. The data were analyzed by using a data reduction technique, data display, and followed by a conclusion. The results showed that: (1) the planning of school literacy movement program at each school in Cluster I of Elementary School Indrapuri had to formulate the stages of habituation, development, and learning based on school strategical plan and reference from Ministry of Education and Culture in 2015 to promote the students’ reading interest; (2) the implementation of a school literacy program in Cluster I of Elementary School Indrapuri to increase the reading interest was done by implementing 15 minutes reading of a supplementary book which is available at the reading corner. Some schools still faced the problem of lack of supplies of reading books in schools; (3) The result of the evaluation of the school literacy program in Cluster I of Elementary School Indrapuri showed the increase of students’ reading interest with the intensity of reading at the reading corner and library. The main challenge faced by the school was the students who still struggled to write the resume and self-made project. Abstrak Gerakan Literasi Sekolah yang dirangcang untuk menumbuhkan minat baca siswa melalui ekosistem literasi sekolah agar meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir, mengakses, mengolah informasi serta menyampaikan kembali informasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan: (1) perencanaan program gerakan literasi;  (2) implementasi gerakan literasi sekolah; (3) mengevaluasi implementasi gerakan literasi sekolah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan metode deskriptif. Subjek penelitian ini terdiri dari kepala sekolah, komite sekolah, guru, kepala pustaka dan siswa di SD gugus 1 Indrapuri Aceh Besar. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan observasi, wawancara dan studi dokumentasi. Adapun teknik analisis data yaitu reduksi data, display data dan menarik kesimpulan. Adapun hasil penelitian ini yaitu: (1) Perencanaan program gerakan literasi sekolah sudah disusun dengan baik dan mempertimbangkan ketentuan yang di keluarkan oleh Kemendikbud Tahun 2015 untuk menumbuhkan minat baca siswa; (2) Implementasi program gerakan literasi sekolah di SD gugus 1 Indrapuri sudah sesuai dengan standar program litarasi, dan mengalami kendala pada keterbatasan bahan bacaan di sekolah; (3) Hasil evaluasi kegiatan program gerakan literasi sekolah di SD gugus 1 Indrapuri Aceh Besar sebahagian besar siswa sudah terlihat peningkatan minat siswa untuk membaca, meskipun masih ada sebahagian siswa yang belum mampu membuat resume dan membuat karya sendiri. This study aims to determine the effect of supervision, persuasive education, managerial competence on academic service quality. This study uses a quantitative approach with survey methods and path analysis with path analysis techniques. The results of the study show that: (1) There is a positive direct influence of the organizational culture on the quality of teacher services. (2) There is a positive direct effect of communication on teacher service quality. (3) There is a positive direct influence of organizational culture on teacher communication. The results of the descriptive analysis of teacher service quality are very high as well as organizational and communication culture to make continuous improvements to teachers. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh supervisi, kemonukasi persuasive, kompetensi manajerial terhadap mutu layanan akademik. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei dan path analysis dengan teknik analisis jalur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Terdapat pengaruh langsung positif  budaya organisasi terhadap mutu layanan guru. (2) Terdapat pengaruh langsung positif komunikasi terhadap mutu layanan guru. (3) Terdapat pengaruh langsung positif  budaya organisasi terhadap komunikasi guru. Hasil analisis deskriptif mutu layanan guru sangat tinggi serta budaya organisasi dan komunikasi untuk membuat perbaikan terus menerus pada guru. The contribution of a principal in the development of school culture is very important in establishing students’ character.  The aims of this research were to find out the principal's programs in developing school culture, the implementation, the supervision, and the obstacles faced by the principal during the implementation. This research used a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The data collection was conducted through interviews, observations, and documentation studies. The subjects of this research were the principal, teachers, students, and school committee. The results of this research showed that (1) the principal’s programs in developing school culture was designed to strengthen its vision and mission through students character building, developing an entrepreneurial culture according to students department; (2)  the implementation of principal’s program in developing school culture involved all school members, establishing social and emotional relationships through meetings, providing the good role model, and developing an entrepreneurial culture that carried out through the internalization of entrepreneurial values in school culture; (3) the supervision was carried out together with school members. The principal supervised directly to monitor the process of implementing school culture development; and (4) the obstacles faced by the principal were the school’s facilities and infrastructures that were optimally used, the absence of a reward and punishment system, and the difficulty of developing students’ commitment which affected students’ discipline and religious values, such as violating school rules. Abstrak Kontribusi kepala sekolah dalam pengembangan budaya sekolah sangatlah penting dalam pembentukan karakter peserta didik. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui: program kepala sekolah dalam pengembangan budaya sekolah, pelaksanaan, pengawasan, dan hambatan-hambatan kepala sekolah dalam pengembangan budaya sekolah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif  dengan metode deskriptif. Pengumpulan data diperoleh dari wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian kepala sekolah, guru-guru, siswa, dan komite. Hasil penelitian yaitu: (1) Program kepala sekolah dalam pengembangan budaya sekolah yaitu Menguatkan visi misi Pengembangan budaya sekolah  menyangkut dengan pembinaan akhlak/karakter, pengembangan budaya kewirausahaan sesuai dengan jurusan; (2) Pelaksanaan program kepala sekolah dalam pengembangan budaya yaitu melakukan kerjasama dengan seluruh perangkat sekolah, membangun hubungan sosial dan emosional melalui rapat,memberikan contoh teladan, Pengembangan budaya wirausaha dilaksanakan  melalui internalisasi nilai-nilai wirausaha dalam kultur sekolah; (3) Pengawasan dilakukan bersama dengan perangkat sekolah. kepala sekolah melakukan pengawasan secara langsung dalam memantau proses pelaksanaan pengembangan budaya sekolah; dan (4) Hambatan-hambatan yang dihadapi kepala sekolah  yaitu: penggunaan sarana dan prasarana yang belum optimal, tidak adanya sistem reward dan punishment, Sulitnya membangun komitmen peserta didik sehingga berimbas pada nilai kedisiplinan dan religius seperti, melanggar aturan sekolah. Technological developments make the current learning process student-centered. The use of technology-based learning media is expected to increase the limitations of existing learning resources. Open and Distance Learning System courses are subjects with a broad scope, while face-to-face time is very limited. Therefore independent study materials are needed so that students can study independently wherever and whenever.This study aims to produce appropriate online module development procedures, produce online learning materials for Open and Distance Learning Systems courses, and obtain data on the feasibility and effectiveness of online modules developed for use in lectures in Open and Distance Learning Systems. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D). The development design used is the Derek Rowntree development model and Web-Based Design. Derek Rowntree's development model is used specifically to develop the material, while the Web-Based Design development model is for the online module development process. The feasibility of the online module of the Open and Distance Learning System is obtained based on the results of expert validation consisting of three experts namely 1) material experts, 2) learning design experts, 3) media experts. The results of the validation of the expert stated that the online module of the Open and Distance Learning System was rated GOOD. Then a field trial with the results of the Open and Distance Learning System online module is considered feasible to use. The results of the t-test showed that there were significant differences so that the online module of the Open and Distance Learning System was said to be effective and able to improve the quality of learning. Abstrak Perkembangan teknologi menjadikan proses pembelajaran saat ini berpusat kepada siswa. Penggunaan media pembelajaran bebasis teknologi diharapkan mampu meningkatkan keterbatasan sumber belajar yang ada. Mata kuliah Sistem Belajar Terbuka dan Jarak Jauh merupakan mata kuliah dengan cakupan yang luas, sementara waktu tatap muka sangat terbatas. Oleh karena itu dibutuhkan bahan belajar mandiri agar mahasiswa dapat belajar secara mandiri di manapun dan kapanpun. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan prosedur pengembangan modul online yang layak, menghasilkan bahan belajar online mata kuliah Sistem Belajar Terbuka dan Jarak Jauh, serta memperoleh data kelayakan dan kefektifan modul online yang dikembangkan untuk digunakan  pada perkuliahan Sistem Belajar Terbuka dan Jarak Jauh. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D). Desain pengembangan yang digunakan adalah model pengembangan Derek Rwontree dan Web Based Desain. Model pengembangan Derek Rwontree digunakan khusus mengembangkan materi, sedangkan model pengembangan Web Based Desain untuk proses pengembangan modul onlinenya. Kelayakan modul online Sistem Belajar Terbuka dan Jarak Jauh diperoleh berdasarkan hasil validasi ahli yang terdiri atas tiga ahli yaitu 1) ahli materi, 2) ahli desain pembelajaran, 3) ahli media. Hasil validasi ahli menyatakan modul online Sistem Belajar Terbuka dan Jarak Jauh dinilai BAIK.  Selanjutnya dilakukan uji coba lapangan dengan hasil modul online Sistem Belajar Terbuka dan Jarak Jauh dinilai layak untuk digunakan.  Hasil uji -t menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan sehingga modul online Sistem Belajar Terbuka dan Jarak Jauh dikatakan efektif dan mampu meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran.
