The purpose of this study was to find out how the strategy of developing Tikus island of Bengkulu province tourism. This type of research is a descriptive exploratory study, using primary (observation and questionnaire) and secondary data obtained by the Bengkulu Province Tourism Office, with samples in this study totaling 125 people. Methods of data analysis using SWOT Analysis. Based on the results of the SWOT analysis (Strenghts, Weakness, Opportunity and Treaths) showed that the strategy of developing Tikus Island Bengkulu province consisting of internal strategic factors (IFAS) consisting of Strength (S) and Weakness (W) obtained a total score of 4.28, this means that the attraction Tikus Island Bengkulu province has a strength that is greater than weakness. Whereas external factors (EFAS), which consist of opportunities and Threats (T) with a total score of 4.25 and opportunities (O) of 2.32, which means that the attraction Tikus Island Bengkulu province has a greater opportunity from threats. The meeting point between strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats is in quadrant I, which means that the strategy implemented is to support aggressive strategy. In this quadrant I shows that attractions Tikus Island Bengkulu province have equal opportunities and Weakness (W) so that the strategy that can be applied is to support aggressive policies (Growth Oriented Strategy, namely by developing transportation and supporting facilities to the region).

Attractions Puger Beach in Jember District, East Java Province. Puger Beach 35 km northwest of the city of Jember known as a fish auction, will Puger Beach has a very interesting beauty with a large waves also can be used for surfing. Another potential that can be developed is the island of Nusa Barong is located not far from Puger Beach, Development of attractions that must be done with more focused and sustainable.The formulation of this research is how is the strategy of puger beach tourism development in increasing the tourists in Jember District Government? So the purpose of the research is to analyze the strategy of puger beach tourism development in increasing the tourists. Sources of data in this study are primary data and secondary data. Primary data was obtained by conducting interviews to tourism managers, the public. Related offices and visitors who are in the location of research, while secondary data obtained from BPS, Department of Culture and Tourism Kab. Jember, libraries and internet, data analysis techniques used using Descriptive Analysis method while to obtain tourism development strategy using SWOT analysis.Based on the results of data analysis and discussion that has been done, it can be concluded tourism object. Puger Beach can be developed using aspects of attractiveness, accessibility aspects, aspects of activities and facilities, social, economic and cultural aspects. The aims of this research were to know (1) the production cost and farmer income from prima vegetable farming (2) the (R/C) prima vegetable farming ratio, (3) the internal and external factors which are influential towards prima vegetable farming. This research was conducted from March to Mei 2017, at Samarinda City, Districts of North Samarinda and Loa Janan Ilir. The subjects of this research were the farmers who had certificate of Prima 3 from OKKPD of East Borneo Province. The methods of data analysis are cost and profit, R/C ratio, and SWOT analysis. The average of production cost was IDR48,301,444.74 planting season (ps)-1 ha-1 and the average of revenue was IDR14,000,000.00 ps-1 or IDR88,888,888.89 ps-1 ha-1. The average of profit was IDR6,443,647.45 ps-1 or  IDR40,587,444.15 ps-1 ha-1. The R/C ratio was 1.84 that meant prima vegetable could be developed because the R/C > 1. Agresive strategy could be used to develop the prime vegetable farming.

This research aims to analyze development strategies of siger rice agroindustry.  This research uses a case study method.  The samples are two different siger rice agroindustries and stakeholders on agroindustry. The method of data analysis used are descriptive analysis and SWOT analysis. The results of this research showed that, for Wonokarto village, the combination of IFE and EFE values was 1.81 and 1.51, and for Margosari Village was 0.56 and 1.38.  Both combinations in the IE matrix shows that the positions are in quadran, meaning that the agroindustries are in the growth position. The best priority strategies for growing agroindustry are increasing the quality of the product and making an innovation for the product.Key words: development strategy, siger rice, SWOT analysis

This study aims to examine the potential of natural attractions as a tourist attraction and ecotourism development strategy in meranti forest in order to give influence to the ecological, eco and social development of the community on ecotourism management in meranti forest. This research was conducted in Meranti Kotabaru Forest, South Kalimantan in January-February 2017. The basic method used in this research is to assess the potential of attraction, the condition of the area, the condition of the people and the tourists and the management of the area. Data analysis was done by descriptive method.The results showed that the Ecotourism Area of Meranti Forest has potential that can still be developed, All people strongly support the empowerment of society because it can improve the living standard of the surrounding community. Results of SWOT Analysis can be used as a development strategy of Meranti Forest Ecotourism, namely; a) Strengthening ecotourism concept for Ecotourism of Meranti Forest, b) Reorganization of space for ecotourism activities, c) Encouraging linkage with travel unit, d) Encouraging participation and empowerment of tourism community, e) Encouraging strategic business units, f) Conduct a vigorous promotion.

The data used is secondary data in the 2015-2019 period. The data analysis method uses Location Quotient (LQ) analysis, Dynamic Location Question (DLQ), and SWOT analysis. The purpose of this study is to determine whether the commodity understudy is included in the base sector or non-base sector by using Location Quotient (LQ) analysis, Dynamic Location Question (DLQ), and its development strategy in Kerinci Regency using SWOT analysis. It was found that the commodities of shallots, chilies, potatoes, cabbage, Chinese cabbage, sweet potatoes, and tomatoes were included in the base commodities using the LQ method. In contrast, with the DLQ method, all the commodities studied would be the basis in the future.

Indonesia has many areas with the various tourism potentials but faces obstacles in the management, one of them is Suranadi Tourism Village in Narmada District, West Lombok Regency. This research aimed to analyze 1) the potential and tourism management system in Suranadi Tourism Village; 2) internal and external factors affecting the development of Suranadi Tourism Village; 3) the development strategy of Suranadi Tourism Village. This research applies some theories such as tourism destination development theory by Cooper (1993), irridex theory by Doxey (1976), and tripartite attraction design theory by Gunn (1972). This research used qualitative approach with descriptive method. Data obtained through interviews and observation. The method of data analysis in this research is by qualitative data analysis and SWOT analysis. The results showed that the potential of Suranadi Village as a cultural tourism village that is the potential of nature and culture. The various of potentials in the Suranadi Tourism Village as a whole has not managed professionally and optimally so that economic benefits are not fully felt for local community. The results of SWOT matrix analysis showed that there are four alternative strategies generated such as SO strategy (Strengths-Opportunities), ST strategy (Strengths-Threats), WO strategy (Weaknesses-Opportunities), WT strategy (Weaknesses-Threats).   Keywords: tourism potential, development strategy, Suranadi Tourism Village, SWOT

The method of data analysis used is 1) qualitativedescriptive analysis to know the general overview of Corn Snack business strategy,2) SWOT analysis to identify internal and external factors that become strengths,weaknesses, opportunities and A threat in the business development of corn snacks.Based on the results of the study in the discussion can be concluded that the farmergroup of Women Mandiri is one of the farmer group in Banyubang village, Solokurosubdistrict, which was formed in 2016 and did a snack business made The base ofcorn, which all members consist of Mother women – housewives in Banyubangvillage. Based on the results of the research from SWOT analysis obtained thecoordinate point (1.47:2.03) which is the coordinate of the 1 (aggressive) quadrant,meaning that the corn snack business on the Agrobisnis Ibu Mandiri ProductionCooperative has the strength and opportunity Well, so that the self-reliant motherfarmer Group can harness the strengths and opportunities that exist to expand thenext corn snack business.
