Objective - Mobile banking is a growing activity to engage the non-banking people in the banking system in Bangladesh, so researchers of this paper try to find out how much it is affected by the Coronavirus (COVID-19). Basically, this study is developed to assess the performance of mobile banking during the COVID-19 pandemic period comparing with the pre-pandemic period. Methodology/Technique - Authors use descriptive statistics to evaluate the performance of mobile bank during the study period from 2014 to August 2020. Findings - This paper finds that during the COVID period the average change of monthly number of active accounts & registered clients have increased, on the other hand the average change of monthly number of agents have decreased at the same time. Except cash in & cash out, all other types of transactions proportion of mobile banking have increased during the COVID-19 period. Novelty - As the mobile banking is a key resource for banking people as well as non-banking people to transact financial things at setting at the house, so this paper will be beneficial for mobile banking service provider organization to assess the whole things of mobile banking at this ongoing period, and they can take necessary action. This study is aimed to analyze variables in Decomposed Theory of Planned Behavior. The study is also examining whether behavior control perception variable affecting mobile banking service usage indirectly through intention to use it as medium variable. The sample of this study is customers who use mobile banking service in Surabaya. The result show that perception construct of feasible usage and compatibility not affecting the behavior of the mobile banking service users. Behavior construct also does not affect the intention to use, behavior control perception does not affect the behavior of mobile banking service usage. In the other hand, feasibility perception and risk perception affecting the behavior for the use of mobile banking service. Interpersonal and social norms affect the subjective norms. Self-confidence and facility condition affect the behavior control perception. Behavior, subjective norms and behavior control perception affect the intention in using mobile banking service, test result recently show that intention affect the behavior in using mobile banking service. Implication of this study is relevant for bank management and mobile banking analysis service to reconsider factors of usage, compatibility, behavior and behavior control perception in applying and developing mobile banking system.

- The purpose of this article is to outline the evolution of Italian multinational firms during the 2001-2007 period. The descriptive statistics show that a selected group of medium-sized firms has outperformed the other Italian multinationals in terms of growth rate. The evidence is consistent with the hypothesis of the emergence in Italy of the so-called "fourth capitalism", as an alternative successful model to both the industrial districts and the large chandlerian corporations. Some limits of this structural evolution are also discussed. The analysis of a data set of observation for Vietnamese banks in period from 2011 - 2015 shows how Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) is influenced by selected factors: asset of the bank SIZE, loans in total asset LOA, leverage LEV, net interest margin NIM, loans lost reserve LLR, Cash and Precious Metals in total asset LIQ. Results indicate based on data that NIM, LIQ have significant effect on CAR. On the other hand, SIZE and LEV do not appear to have significant effect on CAR. Variables NIM, LIQ have positive effect on CAR, while variables LLR and LOA are negatively related with CAR.

BACKGROUND Time banking is a good mechanism to provide elderly care in community services with members having mutual benefits, besides social welfare and out-of-pocket fee payment mechanisms. With further integration with off-line works, mobile time banking may provide a better way, compared to traditional web access. On the other hand, blockchain technology has been long encountering difficulty in integrating with real-world economies or activities. Development of a mobile time banking system on blockchain (MTBB) may provide a realistic solution for community elderly care. Besides, the tracking mechanism from blockchain technology itself may also help track the elderly care service transaction records in order to measure better Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) set by United Nations (UN). OBJECTIVE The aim of this study was to develop the MTBB, which enables tracking service transaction records in community elderly care through mutual helps. METHODS The MTBB was developed to empower organizations, either Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) organizations, or Non-Profit Organizations (NPOs), to issue time tokens of their proprietary token types to the members who participate in the volunteer activities organized by the organizations respectively. In the service activities, members sign in and sign out before and after the services by using a smartphone app, and then get the time tokens afterwards. Members with time tokens can then exchange time tokens for elderly care services using the same smartphone app. MultiChain is used as the blockchain technology stack, as one of its features to support multiple token types is critical. RESULTS Database applications with smartphone apps integrated with MultiChain were developed. The whole set of the database schema was integrated with two smartphone apps, one for members, and the other for organizations, in addition to the two backend operations modules, one for organizations, and the other for managing all organizations and members. The MultiChain wallet was also integrated into the member app, as well as the organization backend modules for keeping track of the service transactions and time tokens. Metadata with the service transaction information is stored in the MultiChain blocks so that the transaction records are immutable and can thus be analyzed in the future. CONCLUSIONS The twelve characteristics of Cahn’s time banking are the guidelines of developing this MTBB with integration of MultiChain blockchain technology for tracking service transaction records. The study also combines the 1-to-1 member service exchange with organizations holding volunteer activities and issuing proprietary time tokens. With the blockchain transaction tracking mechanism, all of the elderly care service records through or within organizations can be tracked and analyzed to align with UN’s five SDGs.

The objective of this study was to compare the cytotoxicity of a domestically-made light-cured orthodontic adhesive to a commercial adhesive, Transbond XT (3M Unitek, USA). An in-house orthodontic adhesive composed of a filler 60-70 weight % and a monomer ratio (BisGMA:TEGDMA) of 6:4 with 0.5% of photoinitiator was mixed. The potential cytotoxic effect of this experimental and a control adhesive was assessed by 3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide (MTT) assay according to ISO 10993-5: 2009(E). The L929 cell line was grown in 96-well tissue culture plates (1x105 cells/mm3). Thin cured-resin discs of each material weighing 0.4 gram were prepared and incubated for 1, 3, 5, 7, 14, and 30 days in Dulbecco’s modified Eagle medium (DMEM) at 37°C and 95% humidity with 5% CO2. The percentage of cell viability was reported by descriptive statistics. The result showed that the cell viability of the experimental adhesive was higher than Transbond XT in all measured periods. The cytotoxicity of both the adhesives gradually decreased with the progression of time. In conclusion, the in-house adhesive showed a good biocompatibility since the first day following polymerization. On the other hand, Transbond XT started with a cytotoxic potential, then, turned to be non-cytotoxic after 5 days of curing.

We argue that corporate social responsibility depends on two distinct stylized facts concerning régulation and power. The first—institutional CSR—is institutional in nature, the other—strategic CSR—is economic and productive. The former permits and stabilizes the latter, which in turn gives rise to political compromises structuring institutional mechanisms. CSR strategies and institutions correspond to a private, oligopolistic régulation which shows no signs of being able to pursue a sustainable development regime. This study analyzes the effect of service quality, customer value, trust and satisfaction on customer loyalty at Bank Syariah Mandiri. The problem in this research is: how to increase customer loyalty of mobile banking service users at BSM. This study used 100 respondents using mobile banking services at BSM in the city of Semarang. Data analysis using SEM with the Smart PLS 3 computer program. The results showed that, among other things, service quality had a positive and insignificant effect on loyalty. Customer value has a positive and significant effect on loyalty. The effect of trust on customer loyalty has a positive and insignificant effect. Meanwhile, satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on loyalty.
