Objective - The objective of this study is to investigate how institutional ownership and firm size affect firm value. The study also investigates the moderating effect of tax avoidance on the relationship between institutional ownership and the size of a firm on its value. Methodology/Technique - A model was developed and tested using a sample of 66 manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange between 2012 and 2014. Findings - The data was collected and analysed using a least square regression and moderated regression analysis. The analysis shows that institutional ownership and firm size affect firm value. The results also indicate that tax avoidance moderates the effect of institutional ownership and that of a firm's size on its value. AbstractThis study aims to test empirically: 1)the influence of institutional ownership on corporate value, 2)the effect of firm size on firm value, 3)the influence of institutional ownership on debt policy, 4)the effect of firm size on debt policy. The population in this study is a public company in Indonesia Stock Exchange with manufacturing companies in the sample. Sampling method using purposive sampling. Analytical techniques used in this study using multiple linear regression which include normality test, test classic assumptions and hypothesis testing. The results showed that 1) the institutional ownership has a significant effect confirm value, 2) the size of the company has a significant effect on firm value, 3) institutional ownership have a significant effect on corporate debt policy, 4) firm size had no significant effect on corporate debt policy.

Abstract: The main goal of the company is to maximize prosperity for shareholders, this can be achieved by maximizing the value of the company. This research was conducted to determine the factors that influence the value of the company to be studied are Corporate Social Responsibility and Tax Avoidance. The moderating variable in this study is Foreign Ownership. The sample of this research is manufacturing companies whose shares are listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period of 2016-2018 using purposive sampling method. While the analytical method used is the classic assumption test and hypothesis testThe results of this study indicate that corporate social responsibility has no influence on firm value, and tax avoidance has an influence on firm value. Foreign ownership is not able to be a moderating variable that strengthens the relationship between corporate social responsibility and corporate value while foreign ownership is able to be a moderating variable that strengthens the relationship between tax avoidance and firm value. Keywords: Firm value, Corporate Social Responsibility, Tax Avoidance and Foreign Ownership Abstrak: Tujuan utama perusahaan adalah untuk memaksimalkan kemakmuran bagi pemegang saham, hal ini dapat dicapai dengan memaksimalkan nilai perusahaan. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi nilai perusahaan yang akan diteliti adalah Corporate Social Responsibility dan Tax Avoidance. Variabel Moderating pada penelitian ini adalah Kepemilikan Asing.Sampel penelitian ini adalah perusahaan manufaktur yang sahamnya terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2016-2018 dengan menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Sedangkan metode analisis yang digunakan adalah uji asumsi klasik dan uji hipotesis. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa corporate social responsibility tidak memiliki pengaruh terhadap nilai perusahaan, dan tax avoidance memiliki pengaruh terhadap nilai perusahaan. Kepemilikan asing tidak mampu menjadi variabel moderating yang memperkuat hubungan antara corporate social responsibility dengan nilai perusahaan sedangkan Kepemilikan asing mampu menjadi variabel moderating yang memperkuat hubungan antara tax avoidance dengan nilai perusahaan. Kata Kunci: Nilai Perusahaan, Corporate Social Responsibility, Tax Avoidance dan Kepemilikan Asing.

ABSTRACT        This study aimed to examine and analyze the executive characters, profitability, leverage and independent commissioners on tax avoidance, and the effect of character executive, profitability, leverage and independent commissioners on tax avoidance with institutional ownership as a moderating variable. The population in this study is the Manufacturing Companies in the Industrial Consumer Goods Sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2014-2018. The sample in this study is only 100 companies that passed in the sample criteria. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling method. The analytical method is using Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA). The results showed that executive character had negative effect on tax avoidance, profitability had no effect on tax avoidance, leverage had an effect on tax avoidance, and independent commissioners had no effect on tax avoidance. And also, institutional ownership can strengthen the moderation between character executive with tax avoidance, institutional ownership can weaken the moderation between profitability with tax avoidance, institutional ownership can weaken the moderation between leverage with tax avoidance. This study examines the impact of firm size and profitability on firm value with capital structure as an intervening variable in financial companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during three years. The method used for sampling is purposive sampling based on predetermined criteria. The number of samples in this study were 73 companies. Measurement of profitability is using ROA and ROE as one indicator to see company performance. The main purpose of companies that have gone public is to increase the prosperity of the owners or shareholders through increasing the value of the company. The results showed that the improvement of profitability and firm size may improve its capital structure. The improvement of profitability and the firm size may increase significantly the firm value. The results of mediating test showed that the capital structure is not able to mediate the relationship between the profitability and firm size to firm value

<p class="IABSSS"><strong>Purpose</strong> - This research aimed to determine the role of Internet Financial Reporting application for manufacturing companies on Indonesia stock exchange in the increase of firm value both directly and indirectly.</p><p class="IABSSS"><strong>Method </strong>- This research used a purposive sampling method. The number of data collected was 95 company samples. This research employed SPSS 25 for testing the data.  </p><p class="IABSSS"><strong>Result</strong> - The results of this study indicated that Internet Financial Reporting can mediate the relationship between institutional ownership and profitability on firm value.</p><p class="IABSSS"><strong>Implication</strong> - Internet Financial Reporting application for companies today attracts investors to invest their capital to the companies because of the ease in getting the information needed at any time.</p><strong>Originality</strong> - This study used Internet Financial Reporting as mediation and source of the data year 2018.

This research aims to examine the effect of executive competency, the firm size, the independent commissioner and the institutional ownership towards tax avoidance. The number of population in this research is 141 manufacturing companies which are listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange during 2012 to2014. This research uses purposive sampling technique. The multiple linear regression analysis is used to analyze the data. There are 49 companies used as the samples of this study. Based on the conducted data analysis on this research, it concludes that:( 1 ) the executive competence has no effects on tax avoidance ( 2 ) the firm size has no effects on tax avoidance ( 3 ) the independent commissioner has no effects on tax avoidance while ( 4 )the institutional ownership affects tax avoidance.

ABSTRACT        The purpose of this study is to obtain empirical evidence of the influence of Good Corporate Governance towards Firm Value and after being moderated by the quality of Integrated Reporting. The sample in this study consisted of 95 financial statements of state-owned enterprises (SOEs) listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2014-2018. The analysis technique uses Partial Least Square. The results and findings of the study show that Managerial Ownership and Independent Commissioners do not have affect towards Firm Value, while Institutional Ownership have affect towards Firm Value. Meanwhile, Managerial Ownership and Institutional Ownership do not have affect towards Firm Value after being moderated by Integrated Reporting. Meanwhile Independent Commissioners have a significant effect on Company Value after being moderated by Integrated Reporting. ABSTRAK         Tujuan dalam penelitian ini untuk mendapatkan bukti empiris pengaruh Good Corporate Governance terhadap Nilai Perusahaan dan setelah dimoderasi oleh kualitas Integrated Reporting.  Sampel dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari 95 laporan keuangan perusahaan Badan Usaha Milik Negara (BUMN) yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) pada tahun 2014-2018.  Teknik analisis menggunakan Partial Least Square.  Hasil dan temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Kepemilikan Manajerial dan Komisaris Independen tidak berpengaruh terhadap Nilai Perusahaan, sedangkan Kepemilikan Institusi berpengaruh terhadap Nilai Perusahaan.  Sementara itu, Kepemilikan Manajerial dan Kepemilikan Institusi tidak berpengaruh terhadap Nilai Perusahaan setelah dimoderasi oleh Integrated Reporting.  Sedangkan Komisaris Independen berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Nilai Perusahaan setelah dimoderasi oleh Integrated Reporting.  JEL Classification : M41, G32

Objective - This research aims to empirically examine the effect of tax planning on firm value. The population of this research consists of manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2014 to 2016. Methodology/Technique - This research uses 3 recent years and uses variables not used in previous research. The 43 respondents were chosen using purposive sampling. The hypotheses were tested using multiple regressions with Eviews program to determine the relationship between each independent variable to firm value. Findings - The empirical results show that tax planning that is measured by the cash effective tax rate has a negative effect on firm value, while tax planning measured by effective cash rate and tax savings has no effect on firm value. Novelty - The study recommends the need for firms to institute more robust tax planning practices that will help reduce their effective tax liabilities and therefore improve their overall value. Firms that engage in better tax planning practices are likely to get higher firm value. Type of Paper Empirical. This research aims to analyze the effects of profitability (ROA), liquidity (CR), assets growth, and firm size towards capital structure (DER) and the impact on firm value (PBV).This research uses secondary data from yearly financial statement of food and baverages companies listed in Indonesian Stock Exchange for period 2013-2017. The research design uses descriptive quantitative research and causality. Sampling method uses purposive sampling method, with some predetermined criteria, the number of sample is 17 manufacturing companies. The analysis technique used is panel data regression. The research results shows that the profitability (ROA) and firm size partially have negative effect and not significant on capital structure (DER). The liquidity (CR) and assets growth partially have negative effect and significantly on capital structure (DER). Then the capital structure (DER) partially have positive effect but not significantly influences the firm value (PBV). The profitability (ROA) partially have positive effect and significant on firm value (PBV). The liquidity (CR) and assets growth partially have negative and significant effect on firm value (PBV), and firm size partially have negative and not significant effect on firm value (PBV). Simultaneously profitability (ROA), liquidity (CR), assets growth and firm size effect on capital structure (DER). On the other side, simultaneously profitability (ROA), liquidity (CR), assets growth and firm size have effect on firm value (PBV).
