The present study is a Type 1 design and developmental research (DDR) study that aims to analyse the situation, design, develop and evaluate an instructional Place-Based Process Genre Module (PBPGM). Upon completing the needs analysis, design and development of the module, it underwent a pilot test. The validity and reliability were then conducted. A panel of experts were involved in determining the validity of the module's content, sessions, and activities. A group of 30 ESL learners were involved in determining its reliability. All content, sessions and activities were rated above 70%, and all sessions and activities were rated over alpha value of 0.70 indicating that PBPGM was valid and reliable to be experimented with.

Needs analysis is a technique in collecting and accessing information relevant to course design. In the needs analysis, the interview is one of the methods and it involves asking in-depth questions using a structured or semi-structured guide to better understand the individual’s points of view. A pilot test for an interview is an important and useful process in conducting qualitative research. Its findings might indicate that some improvements for the major study are needed. This article will explore the advantages of the pilot study, how it was undertaken and the experiences and findings throughout the study. The pilot test was conducted by interviewing two nursing lecturers using Google Meet. This pilot test was conducted with three stages of an interview process such as a pre-interview, peri-interview and post-interview. There were no serious modifications were needed after data analysis of the pilot study was done. It indicates that the research instruments, semi-structured questions can be considered as valid and reliable and can be used for the real study. At the same time, the researcher recognized that the MOOC course and communication at risk module need details explanation because they are new for the participants and to make clear distinction between risk communication and therapeutic communication. This study gives the researchers valuable experiences in applying the three stages of the interview session. The most important, the findings of this study can be applied in the real study

This study aims to develop and test the validity of a module on enhancing students' collaboration, critical thinking (2Cs) and writing skills. To develop the module, the researcher used ADDIE model which incorporates five primary phases, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation. The study used a tryout group which incorporated 20 participants who studied English at The General Foundation Program at a private college in Oman. The study employed a pretest-posttest quasiexperimental design. Paired Samples t-Test was used to compare the mean scores of both tests. Apropos of module validity, a total of 5 experts validated the module. The findings revealed that there is a statistically significant mean difference between the participants' scores in both the pretest and posttest. Further, it was found that the module has good validity and reliability.

Purpose: In quantitative studies, providing a valid and reliable instrument is necessary to ensure accurate results when measuring sustainable manufacturing practices (SMPs) and sustainability performance (SP). Therefore, this study aims to evaluate the validity and reliability of the measurements of SMPs and SP.

Methodology/Approach: The population of this study is top managers who have experience in the oil and gas industry (O&GI) in Iraq. Two tests were carried out in the present study: the pre-test and the pilot test.

Findings: In the pre-test, the comments made by six academician experts and three practitioners were used to rephrase the measurements items and modify them according to the requirements of the O&GI by the Iraqi context. Moreover, in the pilot test was all the items were reliable and were sufficiently correlated with their constructs.

Research Limitation/implication: There are some limitations to the current study. First, due to the small size of the study population, the pilot test sample in the current study was only 12 respondents. Future researchers can increase the sample size for the pilot test when they have a large population. Second, the validity and reliability of the measurements were tested in the current study in the oil and gas industry only. Future studies can test these measurements in other industries or small and Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
Originality/Value of paper: Theoretically, there are four contributions to the body of knowledge: first, introduce measures for SMPs according to the product life cycle view, it is limited in the literature. Second, these measures can be used by researchers to study the extent of SMPs and the SP of companies using descriptive statistics. Third, these measures can be used to investigate the impact of SMPs on SP by regression testing or structural equation modelling. Fourth, measures can be modified into open-ended questions for use in qualitative or mixed studies. Practically, there are two practical implications which explain in the conclusion.

Kartu Giling Huruf (KGH) as one of the learning media for reading needs to be developed, both in terms of shape, size, color, and material to be more interesting to children so that children will play this tool more often and more easily understand letters and vocabulary as contained in KGH. This research is intended to develop KGH as a medium for learning to read for early childhood 4-6 years old. The sampling procedure in this developmental research follows the ADDIE development model (analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation) which is carried out in Ar-Rohmah Kindergarten. The stages required observation time along with the development of KGH in semester 2, February - May in 2014/ 2015 academic year. The
results of the effectiveness test and trial development results showed that the KGH developed is ready to be used and produced in a wider scope.

This study aimed at developing a digital-based affective evaluation instrument on Indonesian MPK Learning at Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha. This study was Research and Development (R&D) adapted from ADDIE Model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The subjects of the study were 2 content experts, evaluation experts, language experts, 120 college students, and 3 lecturers of MPK Bahasa Indonesia. The data were collected from survey, interview, and affective scale. The data were analyzed quantitatively and described qualitatively. The results of the study show that the validity of a digital-based affective evaluation instrument on Indonesian MPK learning at Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha is very valid and it has very high degree of reliability.
