Technology has become the part of today’s people life. Then, it is actually close to the application of it. Absolutely, it has example; such as the electricity for having more sophisticated in financial technology (Fin-Tech). The simplicity and speed of this technology have led people to adopt it in everyday’s life. One of the innovations in developing business and the economy, especially in the banking sector, is currently to develop Fintech (Financial Technology) which is able to facilitate all types of buying and selling transactions, investments and fundraising. Next, the purpose of this study is to explain and provide an understanding of the technical, procedures and benefits of the application, it is called Sharia FinTech. Then, it is also to contribute to the literature on the capacity of the latest technological and non-technological innovations. The research method used is descriptive research method with a qualitative approach. It is to describe and explore the phenomena in the form of engineering human innovation in the financial technology industry. It is done by taking into account the characteristics, quality, and interrelationships between activities It has several aspects; they are: conducting the observation, having an interview session, creating the documentation, and the last one is doing the Literature review. The result of this study is to increase the knowledge, skills and confidence of the community in managing personal finances to be better and to provide access to be having convenient and accountable financial services. Afterwards, this study linits on explaining and providing an understanding of the technical, procedure and benefits of Sharia Fintech for all people in need. Thence, the limitation of the research only discusses the role of Islamic Fintech in increasing the public financial inclusion and literacy. As for the the next researchers, they can be even wider by adding the collaboration of fintech and the banking world. The novelty of this research is the use of the android application as a digital platform in financial inclusion and literacy.

A financial management system is essential for any organization to manage its cash flow and keep track of its spending and earnings. Currently, our faculty-student organization, Persatuan Teknologi Maklumat (PERTEKMA), still uses multiple Excel spreadsheets to log in financial records and depend on physical ledgers printed from the Excel sheet to keep track of its accounts. This project aims to develop a web-based system that keeps track of the PERTEKMA association's revenue and spending and prevents inconsistencies between different ledgers such as activity and kiosk ledgers maintained by various executive committees (Exco) members of PERTEKMA. The system's targeted users are PERTEKMA Exco members and the lecturers responsible for supervising PERTEKMA. The methodology used to develop the proposed project is the Rapid Application Development (RAD) model. An interview was carried out with two treasurers in PERTEKMA to obtain the requirements, and their suggestions were used to develop and design the proposed system. In addition, an interview session was carried out with two PERTEKMA advisors to collect the system requirements to design the system. The system developed aims to replace the current approach to managing financial records through a centralized online platform.

Most of the researchers and experts are prompted to investigate why English as second language students (ESL) are running out of radar during their online classes especially for writing lesson conducted via Google Classroom. In order rectify the issues, the researchers of this study, wanted to find out how English as second language learners (ESL) secondary school students experienced about participating in online writing classes delivered via Google Classroom. This research focuses on the three upper level secondary students at SMK Batu Gajah in Perak. The students were introduced to the advantages of engaging with online writing class via Google Classroom, especially during this pandemic, to improve their writing ability, which can be measured, as it is the most difficult skill for students to master. This study is important for upper secondary students to enhance their writing skills before sitting for their Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) exam. As it is a case study, the interview sessions were accomplished via Google Meet with the learners at various times to maintain the validity and reliability of the instrument. The recorded interview sessions were then transcribed after the interview session. The researcher judiciously categorised and analysed the relevant key notes that strongly support the research questions in order to jot down the findings. The findings clearly show that all of the students are enthusiastic about their participation in a writing class facilitated via Google Meet during the COVID-19 pandemic. Finally, the students believed that Google Classroom has improved their writing abilities to some extent, despite some difficulties in familiarising with the new learning platform. However, the students mentioned that Google Classroom, the new teaching and learning platform, had boosted their motivation to improve their writing skills.

The present study aimed to evaluate teacher training courses (TTCs) in several institutes in Isfahan, Iran, to explore the teachers' perspectives on the status and characteristics of this program. More specifically, this study sought language teachers' perceptions on the aspects (duration, intensity, instructors, practicum) and contents (topics covered in the program, teaching the skills, theory) of the TTC program they attended. For this purpose, 34 language teachers were required to fill out a questionnaire to explore participant teachers' attitudes toward the TTC program elements. Furthermore, the teachers were invited to an interview session in order to share their opinions about the overall usefulness of teacher training courses they had attended. The findings revealed that, overall, the teachers were satisfied with different elements of this program. From the teachers ' point of view, the most useful aspect and content of the program were "instructors" and "teaching the skills", respectively.

This study aims to develop Moodle-based LMS with customized learning content and modified user interface to facilitate pedagogical processes during covid-19 pandemic and investigate how teachers of socially disadvantaged schools perceived usability and technology acceptance. Co-design process was conducted with two activities: 1) need assessment phase using an online survey and interview session with the teachers and 2) the development phase of the LMS. The system was evaluated by 30 teachers from socially disadvantaged schools for relevance to their distance learning activities. We employed computer software usability questionnaire (CSUQ) to measure perceived usability and the technology acceptance model (TAM) with insertion of 3 original variables (i.e., perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, and intention to use) and 5 external variables (i.e., attitude toward the system, perceived interaction, self-efficacy, user interface design, and course design). The average CSUQ rating exceeded 5.0 of 7 point-scale, indicated that teachers agreed that the information quality, interaction quality, and user interface quality were clear and easy to understand. TAM results concluded that the LMS design was judged to be usable, interactive, and well-developed. Teachers reported an effective user interface that allows effective teaching operations and lead to the system adoption in immediate time.

Abstract This study is aimed to identify students’ difficulties in understanding vector concepts in physics because many students think that vector concept is very difficult to understand. This research used an embedded approach research design with quantitative descriptive methods and the sampling used a random sampling technique. Total sample of 142 students from two different schools in Central Lombok district. Test of understanding of vector (TUV) used to test the understanding of students consist of 20 item questions, then followed by interview session with several students. Kruskal-Wallis non-parametric descriptive and inferential statistic was used to performed data analysis. The results of this study indicate that (i) students’ ability to understand vector concepts is still lacking and tends to be very lacking; (ii) the most difficult items for students are the unit vector graphic representation and the graphical representation of vector multiplication. The concept of vector is still considered very difficult for students, especially if the item questions use graphical representations. For further researchers, it is better to conduct a study related to what kind of learning system can support and reduce the difficulties faced by students in learning vector concepts especially on graphical representation.

This research was conducted to investigate students’ English proficiency and their needs toward English learning outcomes. This research was based on a qualitative research design. The data were collected from 80 students who received an English proficiency test and eight students who participated in an interview session. The interview dealt with their needs and problems in communication skills in English. The result shows that there was no student who got excellent English proficiency level, eight students (10%) reached good category, 46 students (58%) achieved satisfactory category, 21 students (26%) were in poor category, and five students (6%) were in very poor category. In addition, all students need English for communication in their future profession. Finally, the results of the interview also show that industrial engineering students preparing to work in manufacturing various marble products face a serious problem in marketing their products to the consumers. In addition, the students majoring in tourism destination area considered that they have to communicate in English to support their job in providing services to tourists speaking different languages. Therefore, it can be concluded that vocational school students need transactional English in a specific field because they are being prepared to work in enterprises or to be entrepreneurs.

Abstract Objective Dignity therapy (DT) is a guided process conducted by a health professional for reviewing one's life to promote dignity through the illness process. Empathic communication has been shown to be important in clinical interactions but has yet to be examined in the DT interview session. The Empathic Communication Coding System (ECCS) is a validated, reliable coding system used in clinical interactions. The aims of this study were (1) to assess the feasibility of the ECCS in DT sessions and (2) to describe the process of empathic communication during DT sessions. Methods We conducted a secondary analysis of 25 transcripts of DT sessions with older cancer patients. These DT sessions were collected as part of larger randomized controlled trial. We revised the ECCS and then coded the transcripts using the new ECCS-DT. Two coders achieved inter-rater reliability (κ = 0.84) on 20% of the transcripts and then independently coded the remaining transcripts. Results Participants were individuals with cancer between the ages of 55 and 75. We developed the ECCS-DT with four empathic response categories: acknowledgment, reflection, validation, and shared experience. We found that of the 235 idea units, 198 had at least one of the four empathic responses present. Of the total 25 DT sessions, 17 had at least one empathic response present in all idea units. Significance of results This feasibility study is an essential first step in our larger program of research to understand how empathic communication may play a role in DT outcomes. We aim to replicate findings in a larger sample and also investigate the linkage empathic communication may have in the DT session to positive patient outcomes. These findings, in turn, may lead to further refinement of training for dignity therapists, development of research into empathy as a mediator of outcomes, and generation of new interventions.

Research on self-efficacy and confidence has spread across several subfields of psychology and neuroscience. The role of one’s confidence is very crucial in the formation of attitude and communication skills. The importance of differentiating the levels of confidence is quite visible in this domain. With the recent advances in extracting behavioral insight from a signal in multiple applications, detecting confidence is found to have great importance. One such prominent application is detecting confidence in interview conversations. We have collected an audiovisual data set of interview conversations with 34 candidates. Every response (from each of the candidate) of this data set is labeled with three levels of confidence: high, medium, and low. Furthermore, we have also developed algorithms to efficiently compute such behavioral confidence from speech and video. A deep learning architecture is proposed for detecting confidence levels (high, medium, and low) from an audiovisual clip recorded during an interview. The achieved unweighted average recall (UAR) reaches 85.9% on audio data and 73.6% on video data captured from an interview session.

This research attempted to explore how the KWL strategy facilitates EFL students' reading engagement. The participants of this research were three students of an Islamic Senior High School. Using a case study design, the researcher describes EFL students' reading engagement by observing and engaging them in in-depth interviews. For gaining the data, the researchers used semi-structured interviews and the students' artefacts of the KWL tables. The interview session was conducted through WhatsApp audio-recording as a preferred interview media by the participants. The result of the research found that the KWL strategy gives positive engagement and self-assessment to EFL students with several stages. Other researchers are suggested to conduct further research on similar topics related to reading engagement in EFL students. Several research possibilities will expand this research. First, future researchers can complete this study by looking at the students' needs in the classroom. The results of this study revealed that students have difficulty with vocabulary.
