Education and skills are important for all individuals, including juveniles in rehabilitation institutions. Therefore, the provision of education and vocational training is an appropriate step for these juveniles. This article aims to explore aspects of the acquisition of knowledge and vocational skills among juveniles in two juvenile rehabilitation institutions. The case study was utilized to explore this issue. The respondents of this study consist of 8 teachers and 15 juveniles, selected through purposive sampling. The data were obtained through an interview session and observation. The findings showed that the juveniles in this study have mastered the vocational skills and educational knowledge as a result of their participation in classes and workshops. Indeed, by providing opportunities to learn knowledge and vocational skills, it brings benefits to juveniles.

Tujuan penelitian ini yakni untuk menganalisis peningkatan kreativitas Sains siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pra eksperimen dengan desain penelitian One Shot Case Study. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMPS Ilebura Lewotobi yang berjumlah 20 orang dan sampel yang diambil sebanyak 20 orang siswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel tersebut menggunakan purposive sampling. Data yang diperoleh dari sampel penelitian tersebut adalah berupa nilai kreativitas sains pada pokok bahasan tekanan. Uji statistik yang digunakan adalah uji t satu sampel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan kreativitas Sains siswa setelah menggunakan model pembelajaran generatif (thitung= 2,577, p > 0,05) Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran generatif mampu meningkatkan Kreativitas  sains siswa di SMP

AbstractThis paper discusses the uses and applications of the Pedagogy of Experience Complexity for Smart Learning (PECSL), a four-tier model of considerations for the design and development of smart learning activities. Using existing mobile apps and relevant activities as illustrative examples, the PECSL is applied to indicate concepts and mechanisms by which useful pedagogical considerations can work alongside user-centred design principles for the design and development of smart learning in urban hyper-localities. Practical application of the model is discussed using real world examples of activities as a basis to demonstrate the potential for manifold opportunities to learn, and plan for experience complexity in a smart learning activity. Case study approaches reflect on aspects of the PECSL in how it might be a useful and pragmatic guide to some of the issues faced when designing digital citizen learning activities in complex urban environments.

ABSTRACT This study aims to describe the implementation of civic education courses in an effort to foster a sense of nationalism student at the Buana Perjuangan Karawang University. This study used a qualitative approach with the method used is the case study. Research conducted at the Buana Perjuangan Karawang University, with an estimated study time for start of the date October 28, 2017 until August 28, 2018. The target population in this study were students who follow courses of civic education, and sampling using techniques purposive sampling. The results obtained show that nationalism formed through civic education in college can be formed. It is based on a statement cited by respondents stated that the Civic Education is very important to learn in college, it's based on the erosion of a sense of nationalism began to be immediately addressed by studying Civics. Civic education is also learned to go back to the students will be taught by the teacher candidates Pancasila and Civic Education. Increased sense of nationalism in studying Civics is proof that Civic Education is so important to learn. Keywords: Civic Education, Nationalism, Students. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan mata kuliah pendidikan kewarganegaraan dalam upaya memupuk rasa nasionalisme mahasiswa di Universitas Buana Perjuangan Karawang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode yang digunakan yaitu metode studi kasus. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada Universitas Buana Perjuangan Karawang, dengan estimasi waktu penelitian selama mulai dari tanggal 28 Oktober 2017 sampai dengan tanggal 28 Agustus 2018. Populasi target dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa yang mengikuti mata kuliah pendidikan kewarganegaraan, dan pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa nasionalisme yang terbentuk melalui pembelajaran pendidikan kewarganegaraan di perguruan tinggi dapat terbentuk. Hal ini berdasarkan pernyataan yang diutarakan oleh para responden yang menyatakan bahwa Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan sangat penting untuk dipelajari di Perguruan Tinggi, hal ini didasarkan pada mulai lunturnya rasa nasionalisme haruslah segera diatasi dengan mempelajari Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan. Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan juga dipelajari untuk kembali dibelajarkan kepada peserta didik nantinya oleh para calon guru Pendidikan Pacasila dan Kewarganegaraan. Meningkatnya rasa nasionalisme dalam mempelajari Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan merupakan bukti bahwasanya Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan begitu penting untuk dipelajari. Kata kunci: Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan, Nasionalisme, Mahasiswa.

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar perhatian pemerintah dalam pemenuhan hak-hak warga negara yang termaktub dalam UUD 1945 dan Pancasila. Dibutuhkan suatu kebijakan yang dapat meningkatkan hak atas kepastian hukum, pengakuan, jaminan, dan keadilan bagi masyarakat terutama bagi kaum perempuan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian studi kasus (case study) dengan menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif. Penelitian ini melakukan studi kasus di Provinsi Banten untuk mempelajari secara intensif mengenai latar belakang masalah kekerasan terhadap kaum perempuan dalam persfektif Pendidikan Islam  dan sekaligus mencarikan solusi mengatasinya. Penetapan informan sebagai sumber data menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dan pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi dan  dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Kekerasan seksual terhadap perempuan di Indonesia terus meningkat dan semakin kompleks. Dengan jumlah korban setiap tahun mencapai ratusan ribu orang. Data tersebut, bila dikaitkan dalam kurun waktu 12 tahun, meningkat sebanyak 792% atau hampir 800% (2) Untuk Provinsi Banten permohonan perlindungan korban berbagai kasus yang dimintakan pada LPSK masih tergolong kecil, seperti data pada tahun 2018 hanya 83 permohonan.dalam pesfektif Agama Islam memberikan perlindungan terhadap perempuan dalam banyak aspek. Dengan demikian, sangat tragis jika teks-teks normative dalam Islam dipahami sebagaimana adanya atau secara tekstual semata, sehingga agama Islam memiliki kesan tidak manusiawi dan

Objective: This paper aims to test the effect employee job training has on employee career development in the company.Design/methodology/approach: This paper uses a quantitative approach with the process of finding the knowledge by using data in the form of numbers as a tool that can be generalized to prove hypotheses. The population in this study was 135 employees by sampling 100 employees using sampling method probability by using random sampling type samples to use slovin formula. Analysis techniques use multiple linear regressions.Findings: The results showed that job training influences the career development of employees in companies with a significant rate of 0.00 less than α=0.05.Practical Implications: The results of the study are recommended for company employees to conduct job training as a tool to improve career development.Originality: Previous research has been conducted to test job training on employee career development in large companies; the findings conclude that employee job training affects employee career development. This research researchers try to research medium-scale companies down.

This article aims to determine how important the vocational skill education for students in the Darussalam Islamic Boarding School of Kersamanah Garut. The background of this research is that ideally the person who was educated both formal and non-formal schools at least have the skills of life that it faces, especially in the world of work. In fact there are a lot of unemployment among educated either issued by the formal and non-formal education is still unused and still many educational institutions interventioned with offices and civil service, and there are still doubts in the world of work on the output issued boarding. Therefore it is necessary to study "Education Vocational Skills (Case Study In Darusaalam Islamic Boarding School Kersamanah Garut)", This study aims to describe and analyze the development of vocational skills in applied as future supplies students. It uses the method to achieve the goal of research is to reserch descriptive qualitative method. Data retrieval is done by interview, observation and documentation. Results from this study showed that the Darussalam Islamic Boarding school is a boarding school that equip students with vocational skills through extra-curricular activities in the form of education life skills oriented vocational education skills such as : organizational and clerical schools , or in the form of a course in which there are education vocational skills such as : automotive , sewing and culinary art , or other training by bringing in trainers from outside schools , in order to motivate students to become productive graduates who are able to enter public life line
