Public administration has to compete with private sectors in terms of quality service delivery to citizens. In this context, civil service training, especially overseas training, has been considered the most significant requirement to increase the performance of the Bangladesh Civil Service. This article tries to explore the impact of overseas training on the performance of the Bangladesh Civil Service. To achieve this objective, this study interviewed Bangladesh Civil Servants who participated Asian Institute Training (AIT) Extension training programme from 2016 to 2018. A mixed-method was applied to analyse the collected data. It found that Bangladesh Civil Servants, who have received AIT Extension training, were satisfied with the training management of AIT. Participants believed that such overseas training positively contributes to enhancing the performance of the Bangladesh Civil Service. However, this study also disclosed that fewer overseas training opportunities for young civil servants, lack of need-based training, and poor management of overseas training policy are the main obstacles in Bangladesh Civil service management. This article strongly recommends that there must be a detailed overseas training policy management and more collaboration with international training institutes to get better performance from the government officers in Bangladesh.

Abstract Object: By combing the policy content of the standardized resident training system in China, this paper analyzes the residents’ cognition and satisfaction evaluation of standardized training policy, and discusses the implementation obstacles and feasible strategies of the Chinese standardized resident training. Method Using policy text analysis to sort out the policy content of the Chinese standardized resident training system; A questionnaire survey was conducted among 1048 residents in 5 standardized training bases for residents in Shandong Province, China, and a qualitative interview was conducted with 42 residents by personal in-depth interview. Descriptive analysis and binary logistic regression model were used to statistically analyze the residents’ cognition of the training policy, the way of participating in the training, the harvest during the training, existing problems, satisfaction evaluation, and to explore the implementation obstacle factors and optimization strategies of the standardized resident training policy in China. Result Through quantitative investigation and qualitative interview, it is found that the standardized resident training has improved the students’ clinical theoretical knowledge level, practical ability, and doctor-patient communication ability. However, there are still some problems in the standardized resident training in China, such as unreasonable time arrangement, low salary and living security level of residents, weak awareness of teaching, inadequate implementation of training content and assessment, etc. Conclusion The implementation of the standardized resident training system in China has played an important role in cultivating homogeneous and qualified doctors and improving the ability and level of doctors. However, the survey found that the training arrangement is unreasonable, the salary and living security level is not high, and put forward that the training time should be arranged reasonably, the salary and treatment level should be improved, and the awareness of teachers’ responsibility should be improved Strengthen the implementation of training content and assessment. This paper can provide a reference for graduate medical education and the training of human resources in healthcare in other countries and regions.

The article presents the establishment of the training as well as the professional development of the Polish police managerial staff in the early 1990s. It was closely related to the transformation of police services, which consisted, among other things, in a thorough personnel exchange, especially of the managerial staff. The subsequent stages of shaping the model of training police executives in the second half of the 1990s, which was associated with the creation of a personnel reserve, were then characterised. The 1998 reform of the territorial administration system also had a signifi cant impact on human resources and the training policy.

AbstractWe investigated the effectiveness of Taiwan’s dual education system, referred to as the dual system of vocational training policy (DSVTP) program. By surveying 722 randomly selected respondents participating in the DSVTP program, we examined the effects of students’ satisfaction with their learning and internship in the program on their intentions to stay at their current jobs. We employed structural equation modeling to analyze the associations among factors. Our empirical results revealed positive correlations between learning satisfaction, job involvement, dual system satisfaction, and intentions to stay at the current job. These empirical results also suggested that students participating DSVTP are largely satisfied with this program and would promote them to stay at current job, which in turn helps to alleviate youth unemployment. On the basis of the statistical analysis results, policy implications that could serve as a reference in future reforms of the DSVTP in Taiwan are also discussed.

Palavras-chave: formação de professores; política de formação profissional; Educação Física.TRAINING POLICY OF TEACHERS: implications to the field of knowledge of physical educationAbstractThe article problematizes the inferred implications to the field of Physical Education, from the manuscript of the Common National Base for the Formation of Basic Education Teachers (BNCFP). For this, it aims to analyze the conceptions of formation and knowledge attributed by the BNCFP, to understand its implications to the field of Physical Education. It uses Pierre Bourdieu's praxiological dialectical method, documentary research for data collection and discourse analysis to perform the treatment. This study reviews the extent to which Universal Design of digitalized work tools is not only a useful, but a necessary principle to support inclusion in an ageing workforce. But Universal Design must be understood and implemented in a broader sense than “classic” adaptation. It includes areas like services, digitalization training and user interface between mainstream and assistive technologies. It makes requirements to an enterprise’s management system and training policy, besides mainstream human resources policies. The paper goes through these requirements and concludes with the need to improve our understanding of the principle of Universal Design for it to be an efficient tool for inclusive workplaces: not only the digital work tools have to be accessible, but it must be combined with management policy, training and support.

The present study performs a diagnosis of the scientific productions in Brazil about the Pedagogical Residency Program (PRP), from 2018 to 2020, in the repositories CAPES Periodicals and BDTD. Three dissertations and 41 articles were found. The results showed that the contributions of the program in initial training, the experiences of pedagogical practice and the studies relating the supervised internship and the PRP were the most recurrent themes in the analyzed publications. It is possible to conclude that the program has contributed to initial and continuing teacher education from a critical and reflective perspective of pedagogical practice, highlighting the importance of the collaborative process in the dialogue between university and school, and the articulation between theory and practice. On the other hand, it also presents the concern with the implementation of the program in terms of curriculum guidelines aligned to the BNCC, the overvaluation of practice and the permanence of effective public policies for training.

Since the 1980s, the project has become an essential management approach for contemporary companies that require profound organizational transformations, hence the need for more in-depth studies on human resources development in this new environment. The present work aimed to recognize the different challenges of the training policy in the project environment. To this end, we conducted 31 semi-structured interviews with Tunisian project managers. The results showed that the training policy is a conducive context for skills development in the project environment. Project-based organizations are called upon to promote their employees’ skills through training programs encompassing mainly two kinds of skills: interpersonal and technical. The results also revealed that the temporary and unstable nature of the projects leaves little room for training due to time pressure, lack of budget, and work overload.
