The purpose of this study was to test the effect empirically the influence of growth and earnings management on dividend payment policies and company value in as many as 40 banking companies listed on the Indonesian stock exchange in 2015-2019. The research method is explanatory research with secondary data, based on documentation data, data processing using the Structural Equation Model test. The results showed that asset growth had a negative and insignificant effect on dividends, persistence had no significant negative effect on dividends, investment opportunity set had a significant positive effect on dividends, earning management had a positive and insignificant effect on dividends, asset growth had no significant negative effect on the value company, dividends had a significant positive effect on firm value. Persistence has no significant positive effect on firm value. Investment opportunity set has a positive and insignificant effect on firm value, and earning management had a significant positive effect on firm value.

This study aims to determine the effect of firm size, leverage , sales growth, and investment opportunity set to the value of company. The sample in this study were 53 data from 18 mining companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the 2015-2018 period that met the criteria. This type of research is quantitative and the sample used is purposive sampling. The analysis of the data used is the statistical analysis in the form of multiple linear regression. The results of this study indicate that firm size does not effect the firm value, leverage has a significant negative effect on firm value, sales growth and investment opportunity set has a significant positive effect on firm value.

Increasing problem credit, resulted in decline commodity price and value changes. The purpose of this research to verify the influence of good corporate governance (board of directors and audit committe) to financial performance with earning management as intervening variabel. The sample of this research are 14 banking companies registered in BEI period 2012-2016. This research use regression analysis method with intervening variabel and path analysis for mediation variabel. The result of research showed that the board of directors had a positive and significant effect to financial performance, the audit committee had no significant positive effect to financial performance, the board of directors had no significant negative effect to earnings management, the audit committee had no significant negative effect to earnings management, and earning management had no significant positive effect to financial performance. In Sobel test, earnings management doesn’t mediate board of director relationship with financial perfomance and earnings management doesn’t mediate audit committee with financial performance.

<p><em>This study l examine whether IOS and dividend policy have a positive direct effect on firm value, and whether dividend policy mediates the indirect influence of IOS on firm value on companies incorporated in LQ45. Pooled Least Squares analysis method was used. IOS was  proxied with MVBVE, and dividend policy as a mediating variable was proxied with DPR. Firm value was  proxied with  Price Earning Ratio (PER). The samples taken were 27 companies from the population, namely companies incorporated in the LQ 45 index. The samples were chosen purposely, namely companies that were consistently in the LQ 45 index group for three consecutive years (2015-2017). Investment Opportunity Set has a significant positive effect on Company Value. Dividend policy has a significant positive effect on Corporate Value and dividend policy mediates partially the effect of no IOS on firm value</em></p><p><strong><em>Keywords: </em></strong><em> </em>Investment <em>Opportunity Set, Devidend Payout Ratio, Firm Value</em></p>

<p><strong><em>ABSTRACT :  </em></strong><em>Stakeholders pay attention to the earnings report, thus encouraging company managers to plan strategies to produce reports expected by stakeholders. Earnings management is one way that can be done. Managers can intervene the earnings management by increasing or decreasing profit in order to achieve a certain level of profit which benefits himself or the company. This study aims to determine the influence of free cash flow, financial distress, and investment opportunity set on earnings management. </em><em>The research sample consisted of 11 infrastructure, utility, and transportation companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2014-2018 with the total sample of 55 data. This study used a purposive sampling method and was tested with SPSS 22.0 Software. The results show that the data have met the pooling test, classical assumptions and established criteria. The results of the F test show that the earnings management variable is affected simultaneously by free cash flow, financial distress, and investment opportunity set variables. The t test results show that the free cash flow and investment opportunity set have a significant positive effect on earnings management, whereas financial distress does not. In sum, there is enough evidence that free cash flow and investment opportunity set positively affect earnings management, but financial distress does not have enough evidence to influence earnings management.</em></p><p><strong><em>Keywords: </em></strong><em> Earnings Management, Free Cash Flow, Investment Opportunity Set, Financial Distress.</em></p><p><em> </em></p><p><strong>ABSTRAK:</strong> Laporan laba menjadi perhatian para <em>stakeholders</em> sehingga mendorong manajer perusahaan melakukan perencanaan strategi untuk menghasilkan laporan yang diharapkan <em>stakeholder</em>. Manajemen laba adalah salah satu cara yang dapat dilakukan. Intervensi manajer untuk melakukan manajemen laba dengan cara menaikkan atau menurunkan laba guna mencapai tingkat laba tertentu untuk menguntungkan dirinya sendiri atau perusahaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh <em>free cash flow, financial distress, </em>dan <em>investment opportunity set </em>terhadap manajemen laba. Sampel penelitian ini adalah perusahaan infrastruktur, utilitas, dan transportasi yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2014-2018. Total sampel yang digunakan adalah 11 perusahaan dengan data observasi yang diperoleh sebanyak 55. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah <em>non-probability sampling</em> dengan menggunakan metode <em>purposive sampling</em> dan pengujian yang dilakukan dengan bantuan <em>software</em> SPSS 22.0. Hasil penelitian dari data yang digunakan,  untuk uji pooling dan asumsi klasik telah lulus uji dan sudah memenuhi kriteria yang ditetapkan. Hasil uji F menunjukkan bahwa variable manajemen laba dipengaruhi secara simultan oleh variable <em>free cash flow, financial distress, </em>dan <em>investment opportunity set. </em>Dari hasil uji t memperlihatkan hasil bahwa <em>free cash flow </em>dan<em> investment opportunity set </em>mempunyai nilai signifikan positif terhadap manajemen laba, tapi untuk <em>financial distress </em>tidak mempunyai nilai signifikan terhadap manajemen laba. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah<em> free cash flow </em>dan <em>investment opportunity set </em>berpengaruh positif terhadap manajemen laba, sedangkan <em>financial distress </em>tidak berpengaruh terhadap manajemen laba.</p><p><strong>Kata Kunci:</strong> Manajemen Laba,<em> Free Cash Flow,  Investment Opportunity Set, Financial Distress</em></p><p> </p>

One important indicator factor for assessing the company's future prospects is to see the extent to which the company's profitability has grown. The purpose of this study was to determine the Relationship between Improving the Quality of Company Value through Corporate Governance, Gender Director, Audit Reputation in Conventional Banking and Islamic Banking in Indonesia 2013-2018. This research was conducted in listed companies that are members of the financial sector (Conventional and Sharia Banking) which are listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2013 to 2018 from 31 banking companies listed on the Indonesian stock exchange from a period of 6 years from 2013 to 2018. Methods used is purposive sampling, namely the technique of determining the sample with certain considerations. While the data analysis method using SEM and AMOS. The results of this study indicate that the Independent Board (Independent Board) does not have a significant positive effect on company performance and firm value (2) Gender Director (Female directorship) does not have a significant negative effect on company performance and firm value (3) Board Members (Managerial Board) ) has a significant positive effect on company performance; but Board Members (Managerial Board) do not have a significant positive effect on firm value. <em>Firm Values of manufacturing company in Indonesia is influenced by various factors of financial and non-financial that can be measured using financial ratios, good governance, and social responsibility practices in the company. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of financial performance proxied by Profitability and Solvability, Good Corporate Governance (GCG), and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) on the firm value,with Investment Opportunity set (IOS) as a moderating variable. The firm value in this study was proxied by Tobins’q.The population of this research is manufacturing companywith chemical industry subsectors listed in the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) in 2013-2015. The sampling method used is purposive sampling and acquired 31 companies in this sample. The analytical method used is moderating regression analysis.Based on the results of hypotheses testing, there wasSolvability and IOS had positive effect on firm value, while Profitability, GCG, and CSR had no effect on the firm value. The use of a moderating variable Investment Opportunity Set (IOS) is not able to strengthen the influence of profitability, solvability, GCG and CSR on the firm value.</em>

<p><em>The purpose of this study is to examine the influence of GCG variables, firm size, and leverage on earnings management. The sample used is 35 public listed property and real estatecompanies in the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2015 until 2017. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling. This study uses multiple regression. The results of the analysis showed that managerial ownership does not have a negative effect on earnings management but oppositely, it has a positive effect on earnings management, while company size does not have any effect on earning management.</em><em> </em></p>

The purpose of this research was to determine the effect of leverage , earnings management , and ownership structure on firm value in state-owned companies . Based on a population of 18 state-owned companies listed on the Stock Exchange was taken 10 stateowned companies in 2008 to 2012 as the samples in this study according to the criteria of the study , a total of 50 years as a firm observational data . At the stage of data processing are affected data outliers firm by 2 years so the number of samples used in this study for 5 years amounted to 48 firm year . Data analysis was performed using linear regression analysis using SPSS for Windows 16.00. Simultaneous testing results show that leverage , earnings management , government ownership , and public ownership and a significant positive effect on firm value . Result partial test indicates that earnings management does not affect the value of the company , while leverage , government ownership , and public ownership negatively affect the value of the company .

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of  leverage and  firm size on firm value with profitability as intervening variable on consumer goods industry  in the Indonesian Stock Exchange. The population in this study are companies in the consumer goods industry Indonesian Stock Exchange amounted to 46 companies 2014-2017. Sampling technique used was purposive sampling, so that the final sample that is obtained is 21, a company incorporated in consumer goods industry in Indonesian Stock Exchange 2014-2017. Data analysis technique used in this research is path analysis and Sobel test. The result shows that leverage has significant negative effect on profitability  and firm size has significant positive effect on profitability. Leverage, firm size, and profitability have significant positive effect on firm value. Profitability mediates the effect of leverage on firm value significantly and profitability also mediates the effect of firm size  on firm value significantly.

<p class="Default" align="center"><strong><em>Abstract</em></strong><em></em></p><p class="Default"><em>The purpose of this study was to examine the influence of debt policy, dividend policy,profitability, sales growth and investment opportunity set on firm value with firm size as moderating variable in the manufacturing companies on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The population used in this study is a company that is listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The sample used in this study 128 companies with an observation period of 3 (three) years from 2016 to 2018. The method of determining the sample used in this study was the purposive sampling method. The data processing method used in this study is the causality test with multiple regression analysis using SPSS version 23. The independent variables in this study are Debt Policy, Dividend Policy, Profitability, Sales Growth and Investment Opportunity. The moderating variable in this study is Company Size. The dependent variable in this study is firm value. The results of this study indicate that Debt Policy has a positive effect on Firm’s Value, Dividend Policy does not effect on Firm Value, Profitability does not have a positive effect on Firm’s Value, Sales Growth does not effect on Firm’s Value, Investment Opportunity Set does not effect on Firm’s Value, Firm Size does not have a positive effect on Firm’s Value, Firm Size does not strengthen the realtionship between Debt Policy with Firm’s Value, Firm Size does not strengthen the realtionship between Dividend Policy with Firm’s Value, Firm Size does not strengthen the realtionship between Profitability with Firm’s Value, Firm Size does not strengthen the realtionship between Sales Growth with Firm’s Value, Firm Size does not strengthen the realtionship between Investment Opportunity Set with Firm’s Value.</em></p>
