"The current work presents a comparative analysis of the colour fastness against repeated washing of cellulose-containing fabrics dyed by “cold” and classical technologies, using different types of active dyes, at various concentrations in the dye bath. Mathematical models have been proposed to describe the determined dependencies. The study uses Reakol dyes – a trademark of bifunctional active dyes manufactured by Khimtex (Kherson), which can be used for “cold” resource-saving dying technologies. The studied active dyes are characterized by a wide colour spectrum, good solubility, colour purity and high resistance of colours to wet treatments. The study has found that increasing the concentration of Reakol dyes in the dye bath, from 10 to 30 g/L, as a rule, had no significant influence on the colour fastness of fabrics to repeated washing. However, the colour intensity on the fibre significantly rose when increasing the dye concentration in the dye bath. It was determined that, when using the “cold” dyeing technology, sweeping changes in the general colour contrast and residual concentration of the dye on the fibre occurred after the first 5 washes. The changes in these indicators somewhat stabilized after the following 10-20 washes. However, a proportional relationship between the variation in the general colour contrast and a decrease in the dye colour intensity on the fibre after the corresponding number of washes of the studied fabrics was not detected. One of the latest trends in the transport field is the increasing interest for the rejuvenation of the railway. It is considered to be a logical consequence of the gradual switch towards a more sustainable future in transports. Terminals and stations are considered to be the junction points between the various lines that constitute the railway network and can simply be described as points of arrival, departure and interchange of passengers or commodities. The most commonly used indicators that measure the level of their performance are time and cost. This study aims at exploring possible improvements that could be implemented to the infrastructure and the operation of terminals and stations in order to increase the efficiency level. Firstly, drawing upon grounded theory about rail infrastructure and terminals, a description is conducted, followed by a comparative analysis of the different types of existing terminals and stations. Secondly, the suggested improvements are presented in accordance with their time frame completion. The main contribution of this study is to illustrate the high significance of terminals, stations and yards, acknowledging them as crucial parts of the railway network, because as characterized and demonstrated in this study, their performance are key factors to the whole network performance, making the identification of their critical points and respective possible solutions, the final objective of this paper. In addition to this, emphasis is given to the need of improving and developing the existing terminal infrastructure and operations.

Recently transposition became the issue of many research papers for being a complicated and sophisticated language phenomenon, and its definition has been broadened. The issue of transposition and the degrees of verb transitivity are the most controversial and difficult ones both in Hungarian and Russian linguistics. This issue may be investigated on different language levels: lexical, syntactic, morphological and on the level of word formation. Taking into account the mobility of parts of speech boundaries in the compared languages we attempt to find the cause of words transitioning from one lexico-grammatical class into another, investigate transposition as a natural phenomenon both for the Hungarian and Russian languages, differentiate transition in parts of the speech system from other language phenomena, solve some contentious issues regarding parts of speech, for example ‘noun-adjective’ relations, and others. Despite having extensive literature concerning nominalization in Russian linguistics and some works in Hungarian linguistics, some aspects are not comprehensively covered in them. For example, different types of transitions from other parts of speech into nouns, thorough semantic and thematic categorization of substantivized words, characteristics of their functioning in texts of different functional styles, principles of creating lexicography, etc. In this article we compare the process of substantivation amidst the system of parts of speech in languages of such different structure as Hungarian and Russian. Comprehensive and comparative study of the process of transition of other parts of speech into nouns allows us to conduct a deeper investigation of each of these languages’ structure and also to reveal typological similarities and differences between them. These languages have not been explored this way so it provides scientific novelty to the research. For the first time we define the main conditions of a systematic process of transposition in Hungarian and Russian and reveal both specific and universal opportunities for transition in the compared languages. We use comparative analysis for researching semantic models of substantivized words, distinguish different types of transitions into nouns and describe structural and stylistic features. Thus, the topic of the research is the grammatical, semantic, structural and stylistic features of substantivized words in Hungarian and Russian. The objective of the study is to discover linguistic nature of substantivation of adjectives, verbs and verbal formations, numerals and pronouns, to find out specific and universal features caused by typological differences of the researched languages. To achieve this goal we need to solve the following problems: determining the place of substantivation in the system of word formation in Hungarian and Russian, discovering how much substantivation and conversion being productive ways of word formation are identical in Russian and Hungarian, distinguishing semantic models of substantivized words and compare them, comparing models of usual and occasional substantivation and determine its productivity, studying their structure which means showing peculiarities of substantivized words’ grammatical structure in Hungarian and Russian, discovering similarities and differences between them and finding adequate models. The research is based on data of dictionaries of Russian and Hungarian languages, examples of fictional texts, live speech and not the least on the idioms. Theoretical importance lies in the following: 1) the research develops the theory of transitivity as we study transposition in two languages of different structures using comparative analysis of substantivized words and taking into account grammatical, semantic and functional aspects; 2) using the materials of two languages of different structures we discover the main conditions of systematic transposition and distinguish its universal and specific features; 3) for the first time the problem of transposition is studied on the basis of Russian and Hungarian from a theoretical point of view (on the example of transition of other parts of speech into nouns); 4) we develop the methodology of a comprehensive approach to study substantivation in Hungarian and Russian which can be used when describing this phenomenon in other languages of different structures.

The article presents the results of the studying the content of some vitamins in blood serum of cows with different types of higher nervous activity depending on the season. The purpose of the study was to determine the influence of the typological features of the nervous system on the content of separate vitamins in blood serum of cows depending on the season. The experiment was carried out on the basis of the farm «Kolos» village Borodianka, Kyiv region on clinically healthy cows of Ukrainian black-and-white dairy breed of 2–3rd lactation. On the basis of the investigation the conditioned reflex activity, 4 experimental groups of animals were formed with 4 most typical representatives of the identified types of higher nervous activity in each: 1st group – strong balanced mobile type, 2nd group – strong balanced inert type, 3rd group – strong unbalanced type, 4th group – weak type. The research material was blood serum, in which the content of vitamins A, E and C was determined by express method via liquid chromatography. The conducted investigation of ascorbic acid, retinol and tocopherol content in blood serum of cows with different types of higher nervous activity in winter and summer periods shown that its content is significantly dependent on the season. In particular, the content of ascorbic acid in blood serum of cows with different types of higher nervous activity in the winter season was lower by 22–27% in compare with its meaning in the summer season. It should be noted that the largest difference in content of vitamin C in blood serum depending on the season was found in animals of strong balanced inert and weak types of higher nervous activity (by 27.4%, P < 0.001 and 24.0%, P < 0.001 respectively). While in animals of strong balanced mobile and strong unbalanced types of higher nervous activity the content of vitamin C in blood serum was lower by 23.2% (P < 0.001) and 21.7% (P < 0.001), respectively. The content of fat-soluble vitamins in blood serum of cows with different types of higher nervous activity is also largely dependent on the season. Thus, the content of tocopherol was lower in the winter season by 35.8–41.6% (P < 0.001) depending on the type of higher nervous activity. And the retinol content was lower by 49.2–55.3% (P FU=3.0; P FU = 3.0; P < 0.05. However, the main properties of cortical processes did not have a significant influence on the content of retinol in blood serum – F = 2.8 < FU = 3.0; P = 0.06. The season has a significant influence on the content of the above mentioned vitamins – F = 126–348 > FU = 4.3; P < 0.001, which is obviously due to the level of supply the animal’s body with vitamins during different seasons. It should be noted that there is no relationship between the sources of variation (type of higher nervous activity and season), which obviously testifies to the absence of influence of the seasons on the main features of cortical processes (F = 0.37–1.64 < FU = 3.0; P = 0.208–0.775). Thus, the influence of the main features of cortical processes on the content of ascorbic acid, retinol and tocopherol in blood serum of cows is found. In animals of weak type of higher nervous activity the vitamin content in blood serum is lower than in animals of strong types. The lower content of ascorbic acid, retinol and tocopherol in blood serum of cows in the winter season, regardless the type of higher nervous activity, has been established.
